I got @Rain Dew a custom Xbox controller for xmas. It's compatible with both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Mainly it's just a color scheme. You pick out the colors you want on any given part, and pay for it. Hers looks a little goofy to me, but she loves it. Xbox Design Lab

Here in the last year or so, I've been playing a lot of indie games. The AAA titles I have, have mostly been pushed to the side as I've been checking out other kinds of games.

RDR2. All around it's a better game than RDR1. More in depth, more innovative, and more fun. It could be a stand alone beginning a new series. It's just that good.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE horror games. My favorite so far is definitely Layers Of Fear: Legacy. It's a psychological horror in the likeness of the movie Rose Red. A couple other great ones are the Outlast series, The Childs Sight, Remothered: Broken Porcelain, Among The Sleep, Amnesia, Blood Breed, and Dungeon Nightmares are few of the best ones I have found. On thing about Blood Breed, is that you have the option of choosing how clear the graphics are. You can leave them pixeled or clear as day. Remothered, I would call "dark" as it may be more of a thriller tan a horror, but I feel it fits.

Blizzard has put out a lot of great games in the past, but their heyday is long gone. They did pretty good after the merger with Activision, but nothing spectacular. WoW being the only real exception. Diablo II did exceptionally well also, but it alone wouldn't have been enough to save the company. The merger pretty much saved their ass. And now with Microsoft backing them, a lot of jobs have been saved. Though as it is with any merger, there will be cutbacks and a lot of people will lose their jobs. It's the nature of the beast.

If I remember correctly, the first time I played any PC games was sometime around 8th grade. Which would be somewhere around 1992-1993 roughly. I'm not certain though. It may have been the previous school year. My memory is all but gone. No immediate memory at all, almost no short term memory, and very little long term memory. Due to drug abuse, and head trauma I have missing gray matter. Let this be a lesson to stay the hell away from drugs people. You don't want to end up like me. To those with children, make sure they understand. The only exception I would make is medical marijuana, as I have a MM card also. Otherwise, leave it be.

Also many games require more than one disc to play as there is so much information that even on a Blu-ray disc it wouldn't all fit. I don't remember the size of RDR2 off the top of my head, but it has a data disc and a play disc. After you install the data from the data disc, you still have to install more data from the play disc to run the game. I don't think the game was ever released as a purely digital download. Correct me if I'm wrong. But all that information and the disc being required to run the game, takes up a lot of space. Think of the graphics, the multitude of lines that had to be recorded, not just for the characters in the gang, but the random NPC's as well. Then think of the random weather. The different animals and their appearances. Their different qualities from poor to good to perfect. The terrain. The towns and their architecture. There is so much more than that. And this is a western. Modern designed games like GTA would most likely have more since they would also have to incorporate things like cars, street lights, modern housing designs, and shitloads more. To have all that in one game, you're going to need a huge hard drive, or you're depriving yourself of the full experience of the game. In truth, you may end up needing to hook up an external hard drive just to have the space to install, run, and play the game. And you may have to dedicate that external to only one single game. A label maker would come in very handy for that.

From what I know, the vast majority of games are designed for PC, and thus aren't compatible with a Mac. I've use a Mac in school in the past, and they were the most worthless version of a computing system (second only to dell), even though by definition, they're not a computer. Something Steve Jobs came up with to separate them from Microsoft or something. I don't remember the details. But either way, while PC and Mac are on the same path, it's like comparing a motorcycle to a truck. They do the same basic thing, but are hugely different. And often one is thousands of dollars more expensive than the other.

I don't even bother with cryptocurrency. I invest in something more tangible. I buy silver every month. I'm saving it up for a bit of either an emergency fund, or to sell off at a profit in the coming years when I have enough. It's why I track the spot several times every day. I would invest in gold, but that's just way too far out of my price range. For example at this moment the live spot on silver is $22.58. The live spot on gold is $1,799.37. That is per ounce. I'm not shitting quarters and wiping my ass with $20's. If I was, I wouldn't need to worry about investing in anything, because I would be my own mint and ATM. That or I would need a serious diet change.

In any way, it's the poorer class that suffers the most. Their voices and their pain is ignored, because they don't have the money to contribute to the government war chest. It's money that makes your personal issues hold any value. The bottom class hold no value to the world. I grew up at the bottom of the bottom class. The privileged and upper class, they are the ones that fucking matter. Bill gates and I could be on trial for the exact same crime. He would get off because he has money which in turn makes his word believable, even though he was lying. I would be convicted because I don't have money which makes me a liar, even though I was telling the truth. No one cares about honesty. People only care about money. In today's world, money makes the person have value. Having no money makes you expendable. It also makes you misanthropic.

One of the biggest killers of veterans is suicide. Going by the numbers, in the US, at least one vet commits suicide every two hours.

I posted a pic of where I keep my games, to show how I store them, but that makes it look like only a fraction of my current library. Here's the list of my library. But bear in mind this doesn't include my Wii, Game Cube, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, DS, 3DS, or Game Gear games. That's a very safe bet. Whether you're a console or PC gamer, online is where the big bucks are at. Granted a lot of us still don't like online gaming (me for example) and prefer story modes. But everything coming out has an online version. I'm willing to bet that in the not so distant future, virtually all games will be online, whether you want to play them or not.

If memory serves me, the only thing I have posted in the last year or so was my NES games, and that was HERE. I haven't posted the rest in a long time.

I have a pretty big library myself, but I don't hold a candle to them.

I have Marble Madness, and it's a bitch. It's one of the hardest and most difficult games I've ever played. Especially the last level.

They have a massive collection at WatchMojo. I wish I had a collection like theirs.

It looks like it's in the "enragingly tough" category, but at the same time looks fun.

Another sport I love is robot fighting. BattleBots is awesome. And while it loses in this fight, almost no one can beat Bronco. This is a rare occasion. And when you see the flips Hydra got on Bronco. That's a 250 pound robot getting flipped 20' in the air as if it was a soda can. Not an easy thing to do.
