  1. In my almost 40 years on this planet, I have preordered one game. I won't say I had a bad experience, because I didn't. I only preordered because the edition I wanted had tons of exclusives only available in a preorder exclusive version of the game. The game was For Honor: Gold Edition. it was preorder only, and had so much extra to offer.
  2. I never took martial arts, (except Judo in bootcamp) but I taught myself to use a persons momentum against them. Throwing someone off balance, without throwing a punch or kick, tends to bring out what I call "stupid anger". It causes them to kick their own ass by screwing up their attacks and hurting themselves in the process. You never have to strike them, because they do it for you. But then there are some of us who strike when they are at their most vulnerable, myself included. There are no rules in a fight. Only in a tournament.
  3. Only an idiot believes anything without proof, religion being the only exception. If you're stupid enough to believe anything without being given rock solid proof, then you deserve being duped and being taken advantage of. Go ahead and "loan" $10 to a crackhead you've never met, he'll give you $20 next week.
  4. I have for a very long time honestly preferred coin to paper. If I need money I always take out a roll of dollar coins from the bank instead of hitting the ATM for a $20 bill. Unless I need cash and the bank is closed. But preferably, I would like to see the US do away with paper money and move entirely to coin. But that's the fantastical dream of a madwoman.
  5. That could be an idea, the issue there is that, just because a person bought the alcohol, it doesn't mean that they drank any of it at the time. If I go out and buy a gallon of whiskey and a 12pack of beer, but don't hit any of it when I get home, should I not be able to go anywhere for 24 hours, just because I spent $40 at a liquor store? The only way I can think that this would work (at least right now) is if they installed something that checked your blood, like a diabetes test. A drop of blood scanned for intoxication levels. Until that's done, the car won't start. But then, that also doesn't have an affect for people who are stoned, because things like that aren't found in your blood, unless you mainline it.
  6. Gold certificates haven't been used since the Lindbergh baby was kidnapped. Roosevelt issued an order that all Gold certificates still in circulation had to be turned in, in exchange for a federal reserve note. They thought that would be a better way to catch the kidnapper. All that aside, they printed silver certificates after that for a couple decades. Those held their value fairly well, as they were backed by silver. The federal reserve note that we use today, isn't really backed by anything, which is why it's continuing to steadily lose its value. Most countries won't even accept the American dollar, simply because of how worthless it is. It's (in all fact) one of the least valuable currencies in the world. The US has a large stockpile of precious metals like gold, silver, palladium, platinum and others. just knock on the door at Fort Knox. But the government is hoarding it instead of using it for the country. They have been for 200 years. I wear 2 rings that are white gold. Very simple bands, one that I had my birthstone mounted on. Together, they might be worth $50. And that's if I'm lucky, or find someone completely stupid. It's a reason I invest in silver. I'm collecting silver rounds and silver bars as we speak. I would invest in gold, but it's just way too far out of my price range. So despite being deathly allergic to is, I buy silver. As long as I don't touch it, I'm fine.
  7. I think you're missing the point. The word "myth" means that it is false. That it has no basis to be considered anything more than bullshit. People believed in (and still do) these Gods and Goddesses long before xtianity ever existed. yet the myths of xtianity are always depicted by the vast majority as factual and actual events. Whereas the events of the Gods that i worship, are nothing more than a joke. And by dismissing it the way you are, you're passively calling it bullshit as well. I won't tolerate that.
  8. First off, DO NOT CALL IT MYTH. You people need to learn something. Just because you don't believe in it that *DOES NOT* mean it's mythological. There are and were people who worshiped these Gods, long before the invention of christianity. Why don't you see how you feel after this: "jesus, a mythical god of the christian religion, was said to ascend to a heaven-like state after death in christian mythology." Does that work for you? No? Then take your heads out of your asses, and drop this prejudice bullshit. I pay homage to the ancient Gods of Greece. But until you all quit calling them myth, I'm not going to explain or educate you on anything.
  9. Yeah, I use it for the same reason. If a title intrigues me, I add it to my wishlist so that I don't completely forget about it. Then when it goes on sale I have the option of buying it at a discounted price. It's well worth it to me. I honestly don't see a reason to not use it.
  10. Syberia are great games. I think you'll love them.
  11. You can't not have GoW Chains Of Olympus. IT was originally supposed to be a PSP exclusive, but Sony later released it on PS3. Either way, you gotta have it. It's my personal favorite in the entire GoW series.
  12. Here's some pics of mine. It can hold 2 Switch Lite's if you want to put 2 in it, but I usually just carry mine in it. At the moment the one in the pics is @Rain Dew's Switch. I do need to get a new one that holds more carts though. Despite having 113 DDL's, this one is one slot short of holding all my carts.
  13. We all know that music attained perfection in 1986. It's a scientific fact. The music I can't stand is opera. Assuming it can be called music. All it is, is some jackass standing on a stage and moaning. I'm not into jazz or reggae, but that's only because I've never been exposed to either. I have nothing against them as I have no basis to form an opinion. Another that I can't stand is country. Which is weird because it was all I was allowed to listen to as a kid. But now, it just scrapes on my nerves like a sand belt. The music I love is metal. Rap is a close second. And not all metal is singers not singing. If you look at Disturbed for example, you will see that David sings more than he "yells".
  14. I'd choose my idol. I could get out of this life, and not have grown up the way I did. None of the memories that are locked away up in my head. It would be a release finally.
  15. I thought about adding Mortal Kombat, but thought it was too obvious an answer.
  16. For me it's usually a Zelda game or FF8. I know virtually everything about FF8, and the same can be said for the Zelda games on NES, SNES, and N64. The only exception is the SNES Zelda. I actually do know everything about that one, with one single exception. I still don't know who the hell Chris Houlihan is. Needless to say, I've played it way too damn much.
  17. I'm about to the point that this kind of bigotry is an actual diagnosable mental illness. These people get so bent out of shape over us, as if were spraying nerve gas over the world, especially their family. I'm LGBTQ+, and the shit we have to put up with is getting worse by the day. It's almost to the point that we have to hide what and who we are just to survive a trip to Walmart. I'll never hide who and what I am for anyone, but I won't tolerate this kind of shit either. I would say we have just as much right to live as she does, but we have more of a right to live than her due to her bigotry and stupidity. I hope her kids turn out to all be sterile and denied on any adoption applications. The last thing we need is more children INDOCTRINATED into this kind of narrow minded, bigoted, chickenshit thinking.

  19. Hatred could be a good entry to your list. It's pretty gruesome. When you're just murdering everything that walks, it's not exactly on par with Care Bears.
  20. If they can contain their seeds and work with farmers, then I see them being a great thing. Their so called "frankenfood" could feed the world since they're growing crops in climates and times of the year that they otherwise could not. But if they wipe out legitimate farming, then there will be worldwide famine. Wars will be fought over the tiniest scraps of food. I've never seen it, but going by the title, I'm assuming that The Hunger Games would be a good representation of what I'm talking about here?
  21. RDR2 has several. Annesburg, Van Horn, Strawberry, Valentine, Rhodes, St Denis, Blackwater, Armadillo, Tumbleweed. Then there are a few small settlements and locations that could be considered a town or have at one time been a town. Lagras, Emerald Ranch, Colter, and perhaps even the Wapiti reservation. There's a lot to encounter. Including some dumbass that can't figure out that snakes bite, no matter how many times you give him medicine when he comes out screaming about being bit.
