  1. Stroked my hair. He thought it was romantic to play with my hair and wouldn’t stop until I kicked him in the balls. I told him repeatedly to get his hands off me, but apparently when a woman stands up for herself, she’s just playing hard-to-get. 😡
  2. I'm pretty sure everyone here will agree with me on this, but I think it's a great thing. However, the reason I'm asking this is because I have seen tons of gamers ditch their games and systems when a new one comes out. For example when the N64 came out, there was a kid in my math class that was selling off all his SNES games and console to get money for the N64. He had raved about Mario RPG and Blackthorne for 2 years. Then all of a sudden he didn't want them anymore because a new system was out. Now we have systems that are reverse compatible. PS2 to PS1. PS3 to PS2(originally) to PS1. Xbox One to Xbox 360. Wii to Gamecube. ANd so many others. SO I'm wondering why. Why would you abandon the games you loved because a new system is out, even if it's reverse compatible? Is it a status thing? you can still play them, just the console has changed. And if you had a game you were working on and were worried about losing it because you got the new one, you can just upload it to the cloud and then download it to the new system. I know some see reverse compatibility as pointless and useless. The reasoning I hear most is wondering why anyone would play previous games when "newer and better" games are coming out. That's not necessarily true. Newer, obviously. Better not sure about that. I play a lot of PS4 games, most notably RDR2. And I still play them on my PS5. It's just weird to me that when a new system comes out, that some think they need to get rid of everything they previously enjoyed when they can just keep playing it on the new one. I know there was a lot of heat towards the PS4 for it not being reverse compatible. Which was stupid in my opinion. Yet some said there was no reason for it to be. So is it pointless and useless in your opinion, or a great thing? Should it just be to the previous system, or encompass more? Should the Series X be able to run games from the original Xbox? Should the PS5 be able to run games from all the previous PlayStation consoles? If the answer to that is no, then why do people abandon games from the previous system when they get the new one?
  3. It's been forever since I watched The Hobbit movies so I can't really comment there. The LOTR movies however, are masterful and amazing. The only possible rival they could have is the original Star Wars trilogy.
  4. I've watched them several times, and their comments are often funny as hell. The way they point out and debunk so many YouTube videos and movies is really interesting. I wish I had the ability to explain shit the way they do.
  5. 1. Do you flirt with other people either online or IRL, or perhaps both? No I do not. I'm simply not interested. 2. Has your flirting ever been taken seriously where the person actually thought you wanted to be with them? A few times. However, that was a long time ago. 3. Is it okay to flirt with other people while you're in a committed relationship? Absolutely not. You're in a COMMITTED relationship for a reason. If you're wanting to do that kind of shit with other people, it's NOT a committed relationship and not to be taken as such in any way at any time.
  6. Considering my first post was about modern systems, I want to reiterate that I'm a classic gamer. So there's a lot of games I play that are limited to those systems. I highly doubt we'll see Battletoads, Ghouls 'N Ghosts, or Conker's Bad Fur Day on any current gen systems. So my real interest lies in systems that predate PlayStation and Xbox.
  7. I get what you're saying, but the disc capable systems can do the exact same thing as the digital ones can do. Whether or not you have any interest in physical media or not, the disc capable systems at least offer you the option. There's no mandate to use it. Personally I see digital systems as limiting and "crippling" if you will. In my eyes they cut down the possible amount of games that you can play. Like I said there could be a lot of games that are only released on physical media, and not digitally. Since the disc capable version can do digital just as good, if not better than the digital, I really can't understand getting the digital. With the exception of cheddar. If that's the issue, then I can see it. But it still doesn't make sense to me. And like I said, you may have a game on PS4 that you loved, but since you went digital, you have to buy it a second time if you want to continue to be able to play it. And this is coming from someone who literally has 124 DDL's on her Switch. But it's still cartridge capable.
  8. Several CoD games were released for the DS. There were others that were on other handheld systems I'm sure. Since DS got the games, I know things like PSP and PS Vita had them. I just didn't think to look and see which systems have the games since we're talking about the DS at the moment. That all said, I just don't see the Switch being powerful enough to run the game. It has only grown more and more massive since its inception, and the Switch hardware isn't exactly the most powerful on the market. It's more or less a glorified Game Boy. Fun as hell yes. But not a beast in any form. I'm sure there are people who can hack the system itself, and put in more powerful processors and whatnot. But as soon as Nintendo finds them they press charges. So good luck finding anything from the current generation systems from Nintendo that can handle the games.
  9. The attachment you’re referring to is the Light Boy. I remember that thing be damn near a requirement unless you were playing under direct sunlight. Even with the lamps on it, you could still barely see it. Even the GBA wasn’t backlit. They didn’t do that until the GBASP. And you’re definitely spot on about the damn batteries. If you didn’t use a lot of rechargeable batteries, you were going to spend more in batteries within the first six months of owning the damn thing than the machine itself cost. It’s the ONLY reason I game on a GBASP instead of the classic GB. It uses a charge cord instead of six digits for an hour of use.
  10. After watching the trailer again, I'm just wondering: Does anyone else get Outlast vibes?
  11. I did a search but couldn't find a topic like this. What does everyone think here? Personally, I say always go for the disc capable version of a console as opposed to a strictly digital version. The disc capable versions of a system do absolutely the exact same things the digital version does, with the added bonus of being able to run a disc is you so choose. One thought is that there is the possibility of a game you want being exclusively disc. If you digital, you would be shit out of luck. Even if you never buy a disc for any reason, at least you have the option. Isn't it better to have too much than not enough? And what about your games from the previous system? Do you want to have to buy the game again, or be able to use the same disc that you already have? It just seems both smarter and wiser to go with a disc capable version of a system to me.
  12. The Series X is in no way compact. If you want an idea of its size, go look at a concrete block. It's only slightly smaller than that, but still pretty damn close.
  13. Tell Me Why would definitely get my vote. It's an amazing game, and the story is just beautiful.
  14. What's stopping you? I play on mine all the time. I'm a classic gamer and play systems from the N64 back. Yes I do have a PS5, but it's mostly for RDR2. I have several PS4 games I play on that, but don't touch it anywhere near as much as I play my NES, SNES, N64, PS1, Sega Genesis, Atari 2600, and Game Boy.
  15. I highly doubt it. The hardware on the Switch doesn't have the power to run such a game. It's one of the reasons most (if not all) AAA games aren't on the Switch. There are battle games, but nothing like CoD. Not to mention that you would have to buy a really big microSD card to have the space to run it. Even then, it would most likely run extremely slow, a microscopic frame rate, and severe lag time. The Switch is a great console, but technical wise, can't do anywhere near what the Series X/S or PS5 can do.

  17. Glad to hear that I was wrong on this one. I obviously misunderstood what was being said. I definitely remember that. FF7 was on three discs, and FF8 was on four. Now however, I have a Switch card that has them both on it. Things are definitely different. I've heard that CoD is one of the most massive games on the market, on the technical side of how much space it takes up. If it were me, I would either get an external hard drive just for CoD, or a digital system for it. Like an Xbox Series S. They're available EVERY-DAMN-WHERE. So in my eyes that makes sense for such a huge game. That would leave HD space open for you to install smaller games. For example RDR2 takes 105g. Granted that's a hell of a lot of space, but not as much as Cod. The base game is around 35GB, a day one patch has ballooned the game size to up to 150GB when installed with all of its packs on a PS5.
  18. I don't know. If I remember right Spanish people are Hispanic, yet not Latino/Latina.
  19. I love drama movies. They're my number one pick of all genres, with horror/thriller in second. My all time favorite drama (and movie in general) is The Libertine. It's a Johnny Depp movie (not to mention Samantha Morton and John Malkovich). Depp plays a 16th century English nobleman (earl) that is friends with the king, but pisses him off constantly. His performance is stellar, and he should have won an Oscar for it. Here's the beginning part of the movie:
  20. The prices I was talking about are 1) buying the license 2) buying the game 3) paying for PSN
  21. The ads showing people getting thousands of dollars are pure bullshit. You would have to pay hundreds for the option of any payouts that big, and there's no guarantee that you would win anything at all. So it's a stupid good idea to get into it with the mindset that you can quit your job. Maybe a random play with a $1 ante, but anything more than that is completely pointless.
  22. I live about an hour and a half from St. Louis. My best friend lives about 30 miles from St. Louis. Yet there was still some asshole that decided it was a good idea to open fire on another school. This is 40 school shootings in less than a year. That's more than the previous 30 years combined. This country is failing. People getting so sick in the head and thinking it fun to kill children? Luckily the shooter (19 year old Orlando Harris) was killed in a shootout with the police. He still killed a 61 year old teacher and a 15 year old girl. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TO?! 40 SCHOOL SHOOTINGS IN LESS THAN A YEAR?! We're doomed.
  23. I have Man Of Medan, Little Hope, and House of Ashes. They're great games. Man Of Medan is the one I've played the most, but DPA is an awesome series. I highly recommend it to everyone. Devil In Me looks flat out awesome, so I'm definitely going to be buying it. Anyone wanting a game where every single tiny detail affects the future events should get Man Of Medan. But don't stop there. I'm sure everyone will love them.
