  1. What would be the best, in my opinion, would be for the reviewer to be going in blind. Meaning that they play a game that they have no title for or company that puts the game out. No names of anything. That way they won't be able to play favorites of any kind. You won't have someone who has a back alley deal with Rare giving their games a glowing review and shitting on all other games when they don't know who put out what. That would be the only way to get an honest review out of a professional reviewer in my mind. You may have to tinker with the graphics design a bit for some games, because that can often give away the game, but still. A blind review. Hate it or love it, at least it would be more likely to be somewhat honest.
  2. I nominate the following members: @StaceyPowers @killamch89 @DylanC @kingpotato @Alyxx @Aerielle del Rosario
  3. Those damn things are awesome. You can buy frozen dinners that have the same thing if you want to get an idea what they taste like. At least here in the states you can. But the McRib is better.
  4. I like that one. I had never heard it before. As for Fraggle Rock, I have the entire series on DVD and watch it all the time.
  5. Gameboy Advance or Gameboy Advance SP? Why?
  6. Plain Ruffles. They’re the best in pizza.
  7. Finally got off my lazy ass and subscribed to the YouTube channel.
  8. Is Rick & Morty the one with the coon and blue jay?
  9. I've always had a weird problem with forms. They're like kryptonite to me. So I have to have help with them too. If the kid was spoiled and sheltered to the point of not being able to do anything for himself, then that's sad. In my case, I don't honestly know what the cause/reason is for me having such a hard time with them is. It's like someone reaches up and presses a stupefy button on my forehead when they give me any kind of form to fill out. "Nobody move! I dropped my brain."
  10. Personally I think organized religion should be eradicated. Believing in whatever is not a problem. But religion uses its name as an excuse for some of the stupidest and worst actions in history. One title tries to commit a successful genocide of another title. While I have my beliefs, I refuse to claim any title. It’s a headache I don’t need or want. I’ve had a certain religious organization forced on me by literally every person I’ve ever had to deal with in my life which is why I absolutely hate absolutely everything associated with said religion. People I don’t even fucking know, have never seen, and will never see have pulled this. I got up one morning, and some coward had left their religious text on my windshield because I had a bumper sticker that said “No gods no masters”. I threw it on the ground and pissed on it. To sum up: FUCK RELIGION.
  11. I guess I need to explain the way we talk in Missouri. “Kid” doesn’t mean child. These kids were in their mid 20’s, with the exception of the kid in question. He is almost 19. I’m 37. Here we call anyone younger than us, even if it’s only a week, a kid. My best friend is only 3 years younger than me, and I’m always referring to her as a kid. It’s the way we talk. It never crossed my mind to clarify that. If the kids had been young, I would have handled the situation entirely different.
  12. I know, I’ve played it. I’ve just never heard GOW on PS4 referred to as GOW 4.
  13. I haven't used Nintendo customer service since I was a kid, but I do know that back then they cared. I remember one day I was playing SMB and was at level 8-4 and couldn't figure out how the hell I was supposed to get through it to reach Bowser. What can I say I was 7-8 years old. So I finally got frustrated and called them. They told me the pattern that you have to follow to get through the level to actually reach him. So I did their pattern, and beat the game for the first time. I'm pretty sure that if that had been Sony or Microsoft (PlayStation, Xbox) they would have just told me to figure it out on my own. Mainly because they weren't in the beginning a gaming company. Nintendo has always been a game company. In their beginning they were a playing card company. So I think they appreciate their customers more as far as gaming is concerned.
  14. I refuse to tolerate stupidity. If he had said he had thought that there was only one and accepted that he was mistaken then there would have been no problem. But since he had decided that he was smart and correct on the subject, that was when the problem entered the situation. Ignorance is one thing. That is cured by learning. Everyone is ignorant about more than they’re educated about. Stupidity on the other hand, is inexcusable. It is not to be accepted or tolerated.
  15. Do you mean Ascension? Because Chains Of Olympus and Ghost Of Sparta were out before Ascension. They were initially released on the PSP, but they were technically 4 and 5. Ascension would have been 6.
  16. One of the funniest things I ever heard was a kid trying to talk so "matter of factly" about some games. He was telling someone about Zelda 2 being released on SNES. The other kid tried to tell him that Zelda 2 was on NES, and the idiot one told him, with complete superiority, that there was only one Zelda game on NES. I had to intervene at that point. I told him that Zelda 2: The Adventure Of Link was the second Zelda game, and that it was in fact, on the original NES. That it was the side scrolling Zelda. The one with many towns. You learn spells instead of items that you can equip. He fully informed me that I was wrong and that there was no side scrolling Zelda. I invited him over to show him that there was in fact a side scrolling Zelda. When he saw it, he went white as a ghost. Now it was my turn to give facts and information. I told him he was a fucking retard, and so damn stupid he made a rock look like a Rhodes scholar. I asked what year he was born and he said he was born in 2001. I told him that Nintendo had released 4 consoles since the NES (SNES, N64, Virtual Boy, Game Cube) before he was even born. I asked him if he had even ever seen an actual NES system and he refused to answer. So I slapped him in the mouth and told him that the next time he wanted to educate someone, he had better know what the fuck he was talking about. Then gave him 3 seconds to get out of my house before I shot him. He took off with his tail tucked firmly between his legs. Probably to make sure his head stayed up his ass. I'll tell you some information that is something you need to know people: It's easier to take your head out of your ass if you don't have your foot in your mouth.
  17. Snowboarding is awesome. When you get to the point that you can do some of the more wicked stunts, it really becomes awesome. 20 years later, I know I really miss it. My bike broke down a long time ago and ended up being a parts bike. I sold it for $400. It was an 81 Honda, so it wasn't worth much to begin with. Still fun to ride though when it ran.
  18. Mario Is Missing was a favorite for me as a kid. I didn't even know it was educational at the time. I just thought it was fun. Now, looking back, the fact that I was learning and didn't even know it makes me a bit of a dumbass. There's a hell of an oxymoron if I ever heard one.
  19. Video games are now worse than genocide and terrorism. What's next? Are they going to go after music and condemn it for some bullshit reason that isn't even in the same universe? Lunacy has once again reared its ugly head here people.
  20. Anything you pick up, if you're wanting to learn by playing, just make sure to learn from someone who doesn't base their self worth on winning. First off they will be a shit teacher. Second If you do beat them, even in a learning state, they will lose it. You need to find someone who knows the game, and is willing to work with you at your speed to get you to a point that you know what you're doing when you do start playing. I would hold off on tournaments for a while in any card games, but that's just me.
