  1. NES was and is the best. They didn’t sacrifice story for cosmetics. The best games came out in the era. I have a game on PS4 that I bought because it had SNES graphics. I love it. The classic blocky, pixelated graphics will always win out over lifelike graphics for me.
  2. GTA and Halo. I never understood the appeal of either. I’ve played them, but to me they were a big fat nothing. They just seemed like a sad attempt at a cash grab by a desperate game company.
  3. Zelda games. NES, SNES, and N64. I’ve also played the hell out of Links Awakening on my GameBoy countless times. After that would be FF8, and Castlevania SOTN.
  4. Systems, controllers, game cartridges, and even a TV.
  5. Final Fantasy 8. It wrapped up so great. Everyone was still together afterwards and their love for each other were stronger than diamond.
  6. I heard a lot of stories about people in WoW building characters up to like a level 85, then selling them online. That kind of thing makes the game completely pointless. I didn’t buy Zelda hoping that someone had beaten the game already and left a completed file on there.
  7. I typically just avoid games that I know will piss me off. For example, I have all 3 DKC on SNES. I have actually beaten the first two, but they piss me off so much, I have never attempted even playing the third one. The only reason why I even have it was just to complete the set. If it’s a game I’m unfamiliar with, but is my favorite genre, then I stick to my motto. I’ve always said I’ll try anything twice. I say twice instead of once because just because I didn’t enjoy the circumstances of the first time doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy the second. If I still don’t enjoy the second then I know the first wasn’t a fluke, and that I gave it a fair shot. But if I didn’t enjoy the first, but did enjoy the second, then it warrants a third shot and possibly more. For example, just because you hate McDonalds doesn’t mean you hate cheeseburgers.
  8. It's an interesting design. I noticed the Roman numeral V instantly.
  9. I would probably have to say when I bought Reckoning Kingdom Of Amalur. For some reason that I can’t figure out, I could never remember that I had it and ended up with 4 copies of it at once, because I kept buying the damn thing.
  10. There’s nothing wrong with that. Retro game graphics have a special allure. And, if you think about it, Skyrim doesn’t particularly look like the original Zelda.
  11. I loved Zelda 2 from launch. The difficulty pissed me off constantly, but it was also what kept me coming back to the game. The determination to beat it kept me playing until I finally kicked Shadow Links ass. That was the greatest, and only feeling of accomplishment I ever had in my entire childhood.
  12. That's it? 1 dog? I have 4 dogs, 3 rats, 2 birds, and a hedgehog.
  13. What about being called Big Spud?
  14. Character customization is nice, but there are more important things that should be focused on first.
  15. That can’t be an actual pic. He’s riding a horse in the pic. The whole world knows he only rides unicorns.
  16. Teabag me and you’re gonna have to staple a bag of Lipton below your dick to have the ability to ever do it again.
  17. I think it’s in the same boat as Zelda 2, for the reasoning behind the hate it got. It’s considered one of the most difficult Castlevania games. At least from the era. That’s why a lot of people hated Zelda 2. It was too difficult.
  18. I was meaning not just the one at fault, but everyone else who would take the opportunity to push their agenda. Blame guns, blame video games, blame music, blame tv/movies, etc etc. Just blame the asshole who did it.
  19. Just once I want to see a person blamed for their actions because they are the one at fault, without people searching for something else to blame as a scapegoat.
  20. I personally hate 90’s music. Not only was the music just horrible, but it takes me back to a dark place when I was being beaten daily by my drunken sperm donor aka father.
  21. I could have picked it up at a flea market a few years ago for $20 if I remember correctly. But my experience with multigame cartridges has always been that they overheat too easy if there’s more than like 4-5 games on it. Especially if they’re in depth games like some of the Zelda hacks. And I have no interest in my system overheating and possibly being destroyed because of a shit game.
