  1. In my opinion it's more or less in the same boat as cosplay. I'm not into it personally. But for those that are, as long as they're not hurting anyone by doing it, then more power to them.

  2. The most important game to me is Ladybug. It's a spinoff of Pacman on the Colecovision. I played it like a fiend when I was a kid, but didn't appreciate it when I had it. Now looking back, I was lucky to have it. A secondary would be the first Legend Of Zelda. That would be because I got to escape to a fantasy world where I would be an honorable hero, instead of a child who was beat daily.

  3. Can you turn the vent off in that one room just while you record? I use a cheap headset for my channel when I feel like making a video, and I don't usually have much problem. maybe your mic is just too sensitive for what you're doing. It may be worth it to get something really cheap to try. Also is it a bare mic, or does it have a noise reducer on it? If you're not sure what that is, it's the foam thing that covers the actual head of the mic itself. It blocks outside noise like your breath and general wind. You could look into getting one of those if you don't already have one.

  4. Final Fantasy 8. At the time I thought it was just a way too open game. Give me a break, it was the PS1 era. I was used to games in smaller worlds, that were more short sighted. FF8 comes out and there's this huge world, and you go everywhere, finding things that you didn't know existed, and half the time don't know how to find, you end up in outer space, it was just more than my brain wanted to deal with at the time. Now I can't stop playing it.

  5. I kinda like cop dramas. Law & Order SVU is a longtime favorite. I also love 21 Jumpstreet. When I was a kid Walker Texas Ranger was a must see for me. Every Saturday I tuned in. I never missed an episode, even when the show ended and they started playing random reruns. I haven't seen it in many years, even though I have most seasons on DVD. But I do still watch the other 2.

Also I love cartoons. Family Guy, American Dad, Beavis & Butthead, and The Simpsons. Also another show that I have loved all my life, that I have the entire series on DVD and watch all the time to this day is Fraggle Rock. It's just awesome. I actually have Gobo Fraggle tattooed on my leg.

  6. Who's your votes to take the cup? I would be willing to put my money on either the Lightning or the Bruins. The only thing that pisses me off is that my team didn't make the playoffs this year. I'm a hardcore Detroit Red Wings fan.

  7. I would make something that is complete fantasy based (wizards and warriors type of stuff) but every small choice you make changes the outcome of the game. One wrong move and you can't get a certain weapon you need for a very long time, or a dungeon is blocked off and it's pure luck that you come back later and find it open. Maybe the path to an area on the map is changed. You go to town to buy items, but forgot something. When you return to the area there's no town. You return 5 minutes later on your way through and there's a completely different settlement. You beat a few monsters and you're back at your home. Something with more twists and turns than the biggest roller coaster and corkscrew on earth. And no players guides allowed to be printed.

  8. About 30 different NES and Atari games. All from the 70's and early 80's. The newest game I play on a regular basis is FF8 which came out in 1999. I'm not the biggest fan of new stuff, and I love the old stuff. Give me a game controller that has one button and a joystick with blocky dot matrix graphics, and you will have a very happy girl on your hands.

  9. Most of these aren't exactly franchises, but I wouldn't mind a sequel or two anyway.

    ***************************************************************

    Dante's Inferno

Spyro (but bring it back to the original gameplay format)

Another Zelda similar to Majoras Mask

    Banjo Kazooie

    Blackthorne

    Contra

  10. Games that do that drive me nuts. I haven't played Soul Caliber in probably more than 10 years for that very reason. If you play the quest part of the game, and don't set it as easy, then after a few victories, you start fights where you begin the fight with half life or less and an invisible enemy where all you can see is a small part of their weapon.

Then you have games that give you no heads up that it's even happening. Like Ghouls 'N Ghosts. It's already hard enough with a one hit kill and no continues, but the further you get in the game, the weaker you get, while the stronger your enemies get. A little fucking notice please, guys?

If you want to make a game like that, awesome. Go for it. I like a challenge too. But if you make a game that you have no intention of anyone ever beating, then you're an asshole.

Can't we send them on a one-way rocket into space so the idiots can clearly see it's round and then shoot it down so that their stupidity doesn't spread like a disease?

Yeah, but if we did that, then they would just claim that the windows weren't actually windows, but TV screens used to try to trick them. You know, since they're soooooooooooo much smarter than the rest of us.
