What is happening with Dying Light 2?
killamch89 replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Video Games
Dying Light 2 is like that father that has gone to the store to get some milk and still hasn't shown up yet - 10 years later but you hope your dad will come back. That's how I feel about Dying Light 2 - I want to get my hopes up but it's a broken record at this point. I mean they've postponed the game a million times now. -
I was so hyped when they said a game dedicated to Sub-Zero was coming out and then this happened. I agree with the rest of you that it was so terrible I don't that I reached half way through it before I stopped playing. I swear it was my curiosity of how the story would end that even got me that far because I really loved Mortal Kombat lore at the time. I still do to an extent but I'm nowhere as crazy about it now as back then.

Some of the physical activity games on the Nintendo Wii were actually fun like the tennis for example. I haven't tried any games of that genre recently though.

Do you prefer eastern or western video games?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
I have a strong preference for video games - I don't care where its from. It just has to entertain me - after all, variety is the spice of life. -
Honestly, this looks amazing! I wanted to see more of the actual gameplay though. You can just tell it's going to be an awesome game unless Nintendo gets greedy and hides some of the rare Pokemon behind a Paywall. If I'm not mistaken they did attempt to do a similar thing with Sword & Shield.

I had the first one with him in the game. I never had any idea that they had another version without him?

Playstation 5 all the way. I'm undecided about the Xbox Series consoles because they're basically like basic gaming PCs and they hardly have any exclusives.

I've seen plenty of companies do that very same things so I'm not surprised at all.

Games you loved, but ended up hating as an adult
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
I totally understand. Another I could say is the Sims - I used to spend a decent amount of time on it until one day I just got so tired of it! -
Protagonists I hate - my list contains one name - Spyro! How can you not hate a purple goofy-looking flightless winged dragon who needs crystals to use his power? Dragons across all types of medias at the very least are usually somewhat threatening but Spyro is like the outcast of the family.

As a dog owner, I can so feel your pain. Loosing a dog especially one that's been apart of your life for an extended period of time is incredibly tough. My advice is take the time to grief but also remember the good times you've had with them. How are your other dogs reacting to this?
-
It really depends on the temperament of your current pets and if they're will to share with another dog. From my experience, it's best to wait and see but if you can afford it and your dogs are welcoming to a new puppy, you can go ahead.

Agreed - the banter is one of the greatest part of sports. Let's hope that political correctedness doesn't ruin this too.

That's awesome! congrats everyone - on the other hand, how much are we at now?

I have heard discussions to start introducing it in a couple of months in my country but I'm doing great. On the other hand, there are some hilarious parodies of people taking the vaccine.

Need For Speed games typical start off very action-packed and then every thing kind of calms down afterwards but the intros are always hectic.

Looking for a game with a maze in it from the 1980s

This is literally like finding a needle in a haystack, where do we start? Even Sherlock Holmes wouldn't be able to find anything with a description that vague. Could you provide us with a bit more detail? -
Games that were worth it but not at full price?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Breaking Point was the worst game of the franchise and I'm glad I didn't buy because it was so mediocre. Anthem, Fallout 77, Star Wars Battlefront, Cyberpunk 2077 are also on my list. -
As @skyfire says, some stretching can help you out as well. I recommend stopping every 20-30 minutes and taking a break - just walk to the fridge and back. At least get some blood flowing in your lower body.

"Beat the meat Flag" in Gears Of War - I don't even remember how you got it but when I did, I was like...what the French Toast?!

One of the things I always loved about Daxter from Jak and Daxter is his tendency to mispronounce other character's names.

Mine was Mario and Luigi with both posing back to back and it was a black colored T-shirt. I'm not sure how my brother had gotten it but he gave it to me.

Twisted Metal 3 was the unpopular and I'm still confused why it even gets that kind of rating. I mean it was as solid as the other two with a few new additions but it was extremely divisive.

I only remember Rainbow Six, Fire Emblem Awakening and Final Fantasy with that system but it depends on the game. The one thing they do have in common is that all your choices really matter because there's no going back so it forces you to prepare well for every encounter. For me personally, it's a mixed bag. On one hand, I like the challenge but on the other hand, it feels like robbery if your character dies in an extremely cheap fashion.
