  1. I wish it would quite frankly - it's just become some kind of movie festival with all these trailers with little to no actually gameplay footage.
  2. Well at least they have a one of a kind turkey fryer from Steam - we should all be jealous 🤣🤣🤣
  3. Not surprised and I hoped the Uk would've prosecuted EA in relation to the whole lootbox debacle but the politicians are too busy playing hot potato with the Prime minister position.
  4. You're right - most of the people on social media are absolutely brain-dead so they'll believe ANYTHING. That's why Flat Earthers are more prominent.
  5. If the feds were interested in doing something, they could've done it before the deal actually went through instead of after because they're not going to accomplish much at this point in time.
  6. I'd be lying if I said I was excited - I'm very skeptical about things like this but we'll see how this goes.
  7. I know right - joining the military is huge ask but of course they'll try to sugarcoat it to fool some COD/Battlefield/Halo etc fanboy to join in order to be just like their favorite gaming character.
  8. This is Kojima we're talking about here - he's probably one of if not the most unpredictable gaming developers in the industry. I have absolutely no idea what he's working on but I'm interested to learn what it is.
  9. I'm going to be honest and say that prior to this I don't think I've ever heard of Jerry Lawson but learning that he designed games with interchangeable cartridges, he deserves to be celebrated. I haven't quite touched the Doodle yet but I'm planning on checking it out tonight.
  10. This sounds interesting but I wonder if it'll come out with the current gen consoles or when a successor is launched.
  11. It's a smart move on Microsoft and Nintendo's part as they'll both benefit but what I'm curious about is why Sony never agreed to this deal. If the article that I read the other day was correct, Sony turned down this very deal and it was even better than the offer that Nintendo got.
  12. I'm not even remotely surprised - everything keeps going up in price. No point in venting because it was going to happen anyways and it's not a trend that shows any signs of slowing down either.
  13. Dogs definitely aren't going to benefit from this - dogs like most animals get the most pleasure out of doing physical activities with their owners such as playing or going on walks.
  14. I wish FF8 would get as much love and attention as FF7 remastered got. No seriously, FF8 is just a slightly graphical improvement - that's all. FF7 Remastered got additional content on top of the main story.
  15. Spec Ops: The Line The Last Of Us Socom Deus Ex Human Revolution/Mankind Divided Alien Isolation COD Modern Warfare
  16. The worst game I've played so far this year is the Crossfire X. First off - the game had performance issues on release but that's not all. The gameplay and "story" is repetitive and just feels like a cheap rip-off of COD and Battlefield but somehow manages to be significantly worse.
  17. Firewatch Submerged Shadow Of Mordor These are the games that I can remember off the top of my head.
  18. There's no telling what will happen at E3 or if it will even happen because it was cancelled prior to last year in 2020 I believe. I know that Covid did play a part but in recent years, the more major game developers have been hosting their own gaming conferences.
  19. Hey there Gonzalo - welcome to VGR.
  20. Depends on the game but there's no way am I going to pay $60 for a remake or remaster. As a matter of fact, I haven't gone over $30 on one and don't plan to.
  21. Unfortunately, Cyberpunk 2077 has always been poorly optimized for the PS4 and Xbox One. It was unplayable at launch and although they've improved it since, as you stated, it still is a mess.
  22. I have to agree with both @m76 and @Kane99 that the early 90's to around 2013 were the best era of gaming. There were far more innovative games around a decade ago - a great deal of the modern games feel way too similar.
  23. Halo 1-3 Armored Core 1-3 Hitman 1-3 Mass Effect God Of War Onimusha Metroid Prime Tomb Raider Survivor Trilogy Jak And Daxter Silent Hill
  24. I do have a group of friends I met while playing Eden Eternal and Champions Online in 2010s and I still do game with them quite frequently.
  25. When I used to have a physical game collection about a decade or so ago, I used to have them on a book shelf with them organized by alphabet but I haven't really bought any physical games in years - well outside of a couple of Switch games that came in the bundle with my Switch.
