Multitasking non-gaming tasks while gaming
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Nope - it's not that I can't but when I'm gaming, I don't want anything to distract me from enjoying it. -
How long do you wait for a game to go on sale?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I'll wait as long as necessary with most other games unless i really want that particular game then I might just look for a decent discount within the first week/s and get it. -
For Skyrim, I do have a Spreadsheet for mods because of the way I want to play that character, what abilities they should have/will gain/ the roles they'll take on. The sheer amount of mods out for Skyrim is so much that this would be time consuming if I had to keep looking up various mods every playthrough.

Thanks for the info bro - I haven't really kept up with the Dead Space Remake.

Wasn't sure - was going entirely off memory there. I'm almost certain there was another Zelda game with time travel in it but I can't quite remember...

EA doesn't put any effort into any of the gaming IPs they can't monetize. It's why they stopped supporting NFS: Heat because it doesn't really have any microtransactions - the only reason the game is still up and running is the large fanbase.

Think they'll try to make another Game of Thrones game?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
It was only when I got into Game Of Thrones in the past 5 years did I realize how much lore it has and there's also a lot of plot points in the series that they could expand upon as well. -
The only reason most of us didn't bring up RDR2 is because it's basically GTA of the Wild West and it's also developed by Rockstar. That being said, it's definitely an awesome suggestion.

GoldenEye 007 is finally coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I'm not quite sure how to feel about this one and I love Goldeneye especially on the N64 - I still play it occasionally at a friend's house. That being said, the multiplayer part of the game is what really made it popular. Are they planning on bringing back split-screen multiplayer or will it be online like more modern games? -
Well - that's one less Ubisoft failure we'd have had. I'm actually happy because I just know Ubisoft would ruin it.

Ummm - the Halo Show is on the terrible side though. I got a chance to watch the first three episodes and I was so turned off, I didn't bother going any further. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.

Disney is remastering Sega Genesis classic ‘Gargoyles’
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Anything Disney touches nowadays they tend to ruin it - My expectations are extremely low so if it turns out to be decent, I'll be impressed. -
What are your favourite gaming memories from the past?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Why is this so relatable? I used to do this to one of my younger cousins who stayed with us when we were teens. -
What are your favourite gaming memories from the past?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
I still remember around 2005, if I wasn't going out on a Saturday night with friends or inviting some girl over, I'd be play either GTA San Andreas and/or Vice City/Need For Speed: Most Wanted all day long. -
What game broke you of completing all side quests?
killamch89 replied to harleyqbx's topic in Gaming Forum
I still haven't completed that pigeons thing in GTA IV - I was way too busy being a terrorist in-game lol. -
Not really, it's just that my neighbors are good folks so I'm just being considerate.

what's with all the gaming service charges now?
killamch89 replied to runswithspatulas's topic in Gaming Forum
Things have changed a lot since the late 90's/early 00's - Profit takes priority over providing a quality experience to us gamers. As @Withywarlock pointed out correctly, Xbox Live has been around since the 2000's and because of its success, a lot of other companies jumped on the bandwagon. Between a lot of the MMORPG's of the 2010's, the aggressive microtransaction systems in Deadspace 3, Bethesda charging for the horse DLC armor in Oblivion, and Microsoft - we gamers now find ourselves for every single thing in the game and any additional content. It's a shock for most older gamers who skipped a few generations and try to get into modern gaming - the only reason it's not as big of a shock to me is that I've been involved in all eras of gaming since the early 90's. -
Games you wanted to play, and then changed your mind about?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I don't blame you - the Sims gets pretty boring after a week or so. It's why I can't get back into the series. -
What concepts do you want implemented in a future video game?
killamch89 replied to NightmareFarm's topic in Gaming Forum
Hmmm. I want previous choices from early games in a series to continue in the sequel and not just stick to the default storyline and ignore your choice when the sequel is released. In other words, our choices should shape how the story unfolds in the sequel/s.
