Do you have friends/family who say video games are for kids?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Still mainly my parents and maybe a couple women I've hung around but they're not aware of the changing times. In conclusion, it's most of the older generation I hear utter this stuff. -
I'm thinking about streaming, what should I play?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I'd suggest modding Skyrim although it's a steep learning curve for beginners and even for people like who have been doing it for ages still mess up at times. The one upside is there are plenty of tutorials on how to get started and you can create your own unique experience with Modded Skyrim or Fallout 4. -
I'd have to disagree. I have Intel 9000 series gaming laptop and it gets ridiculously hot to the point of throttling even with a cooling pad. At this point, I'm looking to sell it when the next set of Ryzen laptops launch.

They'll also be stuck on the 14nm architecture for a few more years at least while Ryzen will move to the 5nm architecture next year so AMD processors will become even more powerful and efficient. I'd like Intel to provide some competition though as it'll keep prices low and accelerate the progress of cpu technology.

Steam v Origin v Hard Discs - Which do you prefer?
killamch89 replied to DudeThatsErin's topic in PC
Steam for me definitely. To be honest, I don't even use Origin that much and the only EA game I currently play is NFS heat which is quite a great game. -

It's important to note that you probably would have to add your own interesting twist to make it really fun like beating Skyrim with a frying pan... -
I don't harbor any hate towards them really - I just really dislike their music.

This is hilarious!

This topic is so broad that I'm not sure where to begin. Priest generally use holy and divine magic, Sages are healers, Wizards and sorcerers are skilled version of mages. Mages refers to magic users in general. As for the different kinds of magic - elemental magic such as fire, lightning, ice etc. Then you have forbidden magic types such as dark magic, necromancy, blood magic and then there's rare magic types such as divine magic.

No problem man. We're glad to help!

I 100% agree with you - this is almost like choosing between drinking bleach or cyanide. You'd never do it because you know you'd die either way.
-
Bruno Mars is alright but I agree with you about Pitbull though.
-
Totally agree - they all sound the same to be honest. No originality whatsoever and they just sing about very stupid stuff, the lyrics don't really rhyme and the they're totally off-beat.
-
Honestly, I hardly listen to modern music either - it's so unoriginal and boring. You're right - they lack talent.

What music motivates you when you're having a bad day?

Would you want to rule benevolently or malevolently?
killamch89 replied to Jakeyjake's topic in General Chat
Quite frankly, I would rule benevolently as in, I'd leave the animals in their natural habitats and put strict laws in place to protect them. I'd also ensure that every single person is at least able to sustain themselves. It doesn't make much sense to not help the impoverished because left unchecked, that is one of the main culprits of crime so I'd ensure that everyone's basic needs are met. I'd also remove this upper class/lower class segregation as it breeds prejudice and discrimination. Every human is born equally so they should have equal privileges and rights.
