Where have you seen the influences of your favorite games elsewhere in pop culture?

Where have you seen influences from games you like show up in pop culture? For example, The Last of Us inspired a number of aspects of Stranger Things.

While I personally haven't seen it, there was the movie Pixels. Does that count? It had a lot of my favorite classics in it, I know that much.

It's not a great movie, it's commentary on gaming culture is dated and stereotypical.  I'd recommend Wreck it Ralph instead.

Skyrim and Elder Scrolls games in particular have been a staple in the meme culture, in cosplays and even used for analogies in regards to real life situations. Even my parents know about Skyrim and they don't play video games.

There was a BMW ad that showed Gran Turismo footage to show the influence of the 3 Series.

Some of the dressing we have today is copied from gaming especially those ones with Japanese culture of dressing.
