Are games the most immersive form of entertainment for you?

Are games the most immersive form of entertainment for you, or does something else beat them out, like books or TV?

Games are the only immersive form of entertainment for me. Immersion comes from the reactions to the actions you perform in game. The more realistic those are, the more immersive the game.

In non-interactive media you do not participate in the events, you remain strictly behind the 4th wall.

To a great extent, video games are top notch when it comes to immersion but I think that going to watch football in the stadium 🏟 beats the feeling of gaming for me.

Actually, it's going to be interesting TV series because there are some boring TV series I rather not watch but play video games.

Yeah - That's actually how I believe that it is with most people but there is always going to be one that impacts more than the others.

Video games tend to be more immersive for me because I can control some aspects of the universe whereas with TV and other media forms, I just have to accept what's given to me.

With TV shows or movies, every single thing happening in it is already predetermined and you can't influence the outcome even if you wanted to do so much.
