Darth
Has anyone made the switch from Android to iOS recently? And if so, how was it for you? I'm moving from the Galaxy S20 to the iPhone 13 Pro which I'm looking forward to. The only issue seems to be that I won't be able to move my WhatsApp messages unless I pay for a third-party app.
skyfire
I used iphone 10 for some time now and honestly I come back to the android every now and then. I feel the usage of the iphone is too restrictive in terms of UX and also app wise.
Darth
So, good news is that I found a way to get my WhatsApp messages from Android to iOS. I did have to pay for it (around £15) but it was pretty quickly and easy to use. I do agree with that skyfire. I miss being able to sideload apps which was just an amazing feature of Android. Empire
I went from android to WIndows then back to android 😛 I never go back to an WIndows phone and I just going to stick with android
Justin11
I've been using Android my whole life, I wouldn't change it at the moment unless I see adequate reasons to do that. I never cherished iPhones or Windows phone, I simply love Android, it's simply a user friendly kind.

I always assumed that Microsoft kind of gave up on it when it was clear that it just wasn't going to compete properly with either Android or iOS. skyfire
Windows phone died now that windows moved out of Nokia deal. Windows is now 100 percent invested in android so much so that your android apps work on windows and sync was available since Windows 10.

I do have one Windows phone left 😉 But I never even switched it on since I had it. 10 years or more ago now. They failed and ended real fast afterwards
killamch89
I've had both before but I'll always be an Android user primarily. IOS is way too restrictive for me and the needs I have.

They thought of an idea, they went ahead with the idea, they failed so bad that they ended real fast in a peaceful way before they got to big for there heads 😛 While they did well from the start, it was not for everyone. End of the day people stopped using it as there are no supported workable apps ;(

I personally got turned off with that UI.
Knight Barida
I did that last 2 years with iPhone 8 and it took me a while to come to terms with how selective and selfish IOS can be. Generally, you get better value when you use IOS for basic activities unlike gaming.
skyfire
I think there are two ways you can find out how worst apple is, one by using them and two when you get something and end up maintaining one.
egghead
I have never used iPhone or iPad, however, I might switch to iOS if I have budget.
