Bravosi Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Personally I have never been a fan of mobile gaming, I simply don't understand how can you do gaming on a mobile device, because it's small and uncomfortable. But oddly, no, the gaming on mobile device doesn't die.
skyfire Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 I think mobile games are going to evolve from here onwards. And there is no way they are going to die. In fact people find the consoles expensive. So mobiles with VR are going to be the future from what I have seen so far. Mobile gaming can be pretty cheap and you can get most of the popular games from the same as well.
Head_Hunter Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 (edited) Mobile gaming can never fold out provided their is influx of users making use of mobile phone. If you check well the number of people who are playing mobile games are much more better in number than people playing console games. Mobile phones are more popular. Heatman Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 I'm not sure if it's ever going to die as long as mobile phones are still being produced, the games will keep flooding it.
skyfire Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 I think mobile gaming is deep and a lot of gamers are into it especially the new generations. PUBGs most users are mobile based lately.

skyfire Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 I personally think mobile gaming would instead get stronger as the time goes on. I have no doubt about the same.
Justin11 Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 Even though its never the way it used to be in the past, when lots of persons where addicted to it when console wasn't all that powerful. I am hopeful it can't fade away.
skyfire Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 It is like just getting started and I don't see it dying any time soon. Not in next 10 years atleast.

Seriously, 10 years is too early if you ask me, it's going to take more than 50 years to even begin to look at smartphone gaming dying off.
skyfire Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Yeah but in 50 years you would move away from mobile to VR and different ways to communicate. mobiles will die too.
Heatman Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 That's the point that I'm driving it. 10 years is too early to speculate on the extinction of smartphone in games but 50 years can do it.
skyfire Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Reason I am saying that is because of the steps like folding phone and then paper displays coming out and may soon come something new.
Darth Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 I don't think it will die. Mobile gaming is very popular in a lot of countries because smartphones are pretty cheap (the basic ones anyway). That means, for the people that can't afford a PC to run games or a gaming console, mobiles are the only way to play some games.

Exactly, if they take off gaming on smartphone, they are most likely to provide another platform similar to smartphone that will be easier for people to make use of.
