First ever game console?

Recommended Posts

My first none portable was the Sega Master System 2 with Alex Kidd built in and it was amazing! My first hand-held was the Gameboy.

I had an old hand-me-down Commodore64 I played before my Master System 2, but it wasn't mine.

What was yours?

I think I was pretty young during the PS 3 and 4 came out with some gap. If I could justify I'd keep old consoles but they serve no purpose other than memory.

I’m not that old so my first one was a Gameboy. I loved that thing.

I remember there were a lot of chinese clones of the gameboy it was kind of fun with those cheap use and throw type consoles.

Does anyone remember those Tiger games? Just nothing but an LCD that lit up at different parts. Those of us that couldn't afford a Game Boy were stuck with those $15 pieces of shit. From what I understand, they're fairly collectible now.

Yeah, I had a few.  I had a Peter Pan one where you couldn't tell if you winning the sword fight with Captain Hook.  I had one called Speed Boat, I had one called Super Speedway Auto Racing.  I had the Tyco Stix motocross game.  I threw them all out eventually after years of owning them to make sure they didn't get saved instead of my NASCAR die cast.  I achieved full completion on the motocross one.
