  1. It sounds like some people who had a successful pre-order for the PS5 at Gamestop, are going to have to wait until 2021 due to issues not in their control. According to Video Games Chronicle, some customers were told that their pre-orders would be pushed back to 2021. It's not just GameStop though. According to the article, Amazon and other retailers are reporting problems with pre-orders, and some consoles might not be delivered on release. Sony is trying to release more consoles to retailers. What do you guys think about this? Are you worried your pre-order won't come in on time or pushed back?

    Gaming TV

You also can consider Black Friday as an option. Most likely done online this year due to covid, but there may be some good deals on 4K TVs and Gaming TVs/monitors. I'm on the lookout for a 65 inch 4K TV for the living room. But waiting on black Friday to roll around to see what is offered up.
  3. I can totally understand. They're not for everyone. Some people prefer standard keyboards, maybe with just a white backlit keyboard. I think I would prefer that for a laptop, but a desktop I'd go with RGB. I like them because I like how it looks. 😄 I have LED strips under my desk and at one time had some LEDs on the back of my TV. I eventually wanted to put some under my bed and around the rest of my room lol.
  4. Wow, he's still live as we speak lol. I couldn't do it, maybe 24 hours, but not this long. Looks like he has 107 or 127 subs, isn't that like $5.99 a sub? Not bad for each month. I wonder if he's getting a lot of donations on top of that.
  5. I got it around the time it was on early access on the Xbone. It wasn't 100% complete, so I'm probably partly to blame for trying to run through a game that's not all finished. But, my 3rd play-through it worked fine. I was able to finish it and everything. I heard the Switch got a version, that's awesome. I imagine by now they sorted the mistakes the original game had.
  6. Wow, I never expected this game to go anywhere. I'm sure everyone and their mom knows about Farmville. It was hugely popular on Facebook many moons ago, and to be honest, I didn't even know it was a thing for the past few years. But, it's now going away for good. I'm sure many are saddened to see this game close. I only briefly played it myself, it wasn't for me, but I know people who were serious about their FarmVille. Read more about this story below. https://www.ab-gaming.com/farmville-closes-shop-after-11-glorious-years/
  7. So it's almost been 2 years since RDR2 came out. I enjoyed the game for the most part, but the online mode for me, has always felt weaker compared to the single player. I like that you can customize your character a lot more, but it still feels limited when it comes to it. I wanted to make a really fat avatar, but you could only give a chubby belly and that's about it. As well, it's a literal grind in order to really get anything good, which in turn kind of drags the fun down a bit. I don't mind doing missions, but when they barely pay anything out, I usually just give up and move on to another game. I last played RDR2 online a few months ago. I want to jump back into it and give it another chance, but I don't know if it's really changed enough to warrant that. Has anything new come along to give a boost to the online mode? Are you guys still into RDR2 online, or have you since moved on? GTA Online will continue to over-take it I think.
  8. I think the aspect I miss the most, is the idea of getting a game complete and not having to deal with updates and patches. Retro games can't be updated and that's what you got. So if it had glitches or problems, they stayed in. I get tired of the constant updates new games get, some that are massive in size, but retro games didn't have that option, so we got games that devs did the best they could to finish. I also miss big manuals included with games, as well as other goodies like stickers and posters. Yeah some games still include those goodies, but it's becoming less and less these days with digital taking over.
  9. idk, I consider Minecract a relaxing game, especially if you play creative mode. I view it like legos or playing with toys as a kid. Survival mode can sometimes be relaxing too. As for the sims, I'm a bit more in agreement. I got frustrated and annoyed with the game a lot when I played the sims 3.
  10. RGB keyboard is just an added bonus I think. Can you change the type of color and brightness? Your laptop should have options to change it, unless that's not an option. I got a HyperX RGB keyboard. It has a bunch of options from multiple colors, to breathing, blinking, and even allows you to just have a static white light. I like having it because it helps me see easier in the dark, and I am on my PC at night a lot. But I can understand it being distracting for some. I know my keyboard has a brightness toggle and you can even turn it off completely.
  11. I would love to get myself a new smartphone, one that can actually run with VR, do you guys have any recommendations? Would the newest Samsung phone be good? I've considered Google Pixel brand, but idk if I want a google phone. I'm not sure if the Razer phone supports VR, but I was eyeing that up too. I need a new phone anyway, so it gets me what I need and maybe even the ability to do some stuff in VR.
  12. Do you guys use any custom skins on your consoles and peripherals? I currently don't have any console skins, but I did have a bunch of stickers on my Xbox 360. My newer consoles don't have anything on them. I was looking to buy a custom skin cover for my Xbox One, but I didn't like the pricing of them so never jumped at it. But what about you guys? Do you put skins on your consoles/controllers?

Are you a fan of Glover? I remember really enjoying it on the N64 back in the day, but some of my friends claim it was an awful game. I wouldn't say it was awful, but it wasn't the greatest. I did have some problems with the controls at times, which did cause some frustration, but I got used to it. What's your favorite moment from this game? Maybe the reason I liked it so much, was because it was kind of unique at the time.
  14. Has anyone here played the Layers of Fear game that came out years ago? I remember playing it when it came out on early access. That was my first mistake, because I encountered a game breaking glitch twice. Each time it was a room that wouldn't load, so you'd walk in and it would drop you off. I reported it to the devs and they said that I would have to restart the game. The glitch is a result of reading all of the notes you can pick up. That's what the devs told me. No joke. Anyway, re-played the game a second time and it happened again. And bear in mind, this was mostly through the full game. The third time around, the scares weren't as fun. I enjoyed the atmosphere, but the game was far too easy. The story was decent, but wasn't the best. Does anyone remember this game? How did you feel about it? Here's a trailer for it. I can't believe it's been 4 years. I thought it was older.
  15. Source - Tech Spot Do you recognize any of these games? What would you say is your favorite among them all? I think my favorite on this list is Minecraft or Superhot. I've played MC for a long time, but Superhot was relaxing to play when I played it years ago. What are some other relaxing games?
  16. Oh nice, I'm for sure going to have to enter this contest. I like LG for the most part, they tend to do a pretty rocking job with their products. I'll be keeping a close eye on my screen when I tune in.
  17. I get where you're coming from. For me, watching a stream is about hanging out with the streamer. It's not always about the game. I watch stuff like paymoneywubby, who streams and just talks the majority of the time. A lot of people don't even play games either, some just talk and hang out with fans. There are those annoying streamers though. I totally understand. I want to mostly be a fun chill streamer, one who isn't about being super annoying and loud. Maybe a bit funny here and there if possible. 😄 Oh yeah, Mixer paying Ninja that much was dumb. It didn't help Mixer at all and now MS is working with Facebook for game streaming lol. Weird how things work out. Oooh, I like that idea a lot. I could see them actually doing something like that.
  18. No Man's Sky is probably the one that comes to mind for most of us, but I think there are a few others out there. I did a search and was able to find games like EVE online, Star Conflict, Stellaris, Starsector, and Elite Dangerous. Those are just some, there might be more. I have not played any of these, just found them while searching the genre. Hope that helps. 🙂
  19. Yeah, everyone seems to be streaming it these days. But then again, it may be that too many are streaming it so it might be tougher to find an audience. I suppose though, it's a hit so maybe I could get lucky and get some viewers in there. I've never really tried League of Legends though, not sure it's really for me.
  20. Steam currently has some deals on WB Games. The likes of Hitman 2, Batman Arkham Series, Middle Earth Series, Mad Max, Mortal Kombat X and 11, and more. You can find these deals over on steam below. There's only 2 days left. The sale runs through Sept. 24th to the 28th. https://store.steampowered.com/sale/wbpublishersale2020?snr=1_4_4__118
  21. Among Us came out in 2018 to not much fanfare, and there it lived for another two years, before finally it became a massive hit today in 2020. This sort of thing happening for a dead game, is really awesome of the community. Before its popularity, it was barely alive. But now it's the talk of the town lol. Anyway, seeing the community bring a game back to life, what games would you like people to revisit? Maybe it didn't have the popularity when it first came out, but it was a great game and deserves another chance. I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are some games that deserve another chance.
  22. Ah ok, so you have L4D 1 and 2 on Steam I'm guessing? Do you have NFS and Gran Turismo still in the wrapping? Might be worth some money if they are, especially the first Gran Turismo.
  23. End of video states it's a timed exclusive, so the PC version is likely coming later.
  24. What is your favorite TMNT game? For me it will always be TMNT 2: The Arcade game on the NES. I used to play it after school with a friend. We'd play as far as we could get, and then he'd have to go home. I miss those days, coming home from school, and just playing games with friends. Anyway, it's my favorite TMNT game hands down. I didn't play all of the TMNT games, so some of the SNES/Genesis games may have been better if I had a chance to play them as a kid. I also have a fond place for the first TMNT game on the NES. I still haven't beaten it. 😞 Anyway, which one is your favorite?
  25. Wasn't the second game announced when the game started to increase in popularity? I'm good with this though. I feel it'd be pointless to make a new game when this one is finally getting some recognition. Plus, I imagine it'd be easy to update with new content anyway. New maps would be awesome!
