Reality vs Adventure

When you have gaming mixed with social media like facebook, the game itself in multiplayer mode is an actual social gathering. You stand right in front of each other and see each other move; you talk too each other right inside the game environment. You network from there. That is where that facebook oculus combo is taking us. My sister has one. She is having a good time and meeting people in the game. Inside the actual gaming environment. You move around as an avatar, not your real face. In a way it's pretty cool; in another way it gets exploited just as I mentioned. Just a matter of time. And as the in game networking experience gets more advanced, you will be able to see each other's real faces and real bodies all gathered together having fun shooting monsters, or holding hands in a park on a mountain top with a friend, girlfriend, new somebody you just met. It could be a dating gaming network in a paradise setting; that is exactly the direction it is going. But where there is good intention, there is also bad intention. And it definitely will get taken advantage of by evil people. And games will get caught in the crossfire when social media looks to blame or is blamed for some bad situation. So I say it is cool, but will get exploited, which will be uncool. But yeah, I'm just rambling about nonsense, until it makes sense. Did it make any sense? Or is it still nonsense?

Man if only stop means go and go means stop then what is good is bad and bad is good. If words had meaning, lines have little. Connect the dots and you find what you are looking for.

It’s already becoming a medium for communication now that Facebook and Oculus are a package deal. Just don’t cry when the gaming world gets exploited. We have yet to see the boom in the gaming industry. I believe it will eventually be integrated in everyone’s lives in some way in the near future. When that time comes, we will need serious restrictions for the content available to kids. Because it will get more adult rated as the target audience expands. And as social media becomes integrated, predators will be there just like in internet and social media. Terrorists will be there. Hate will be there. XXX will be there. There is a lot of potentially good use for games, along with the bad. But it’s inevitable. Laws will be passed as the gaming industry gets big like social media. Gaming industry will hold more responsibility. Government may get mixed up in it at times. So just as we now have witnessed social media as the front lines of political blame, same will happen with games as it continues to get mixed up in social platforms.

Many of us clearly saw what exactly trump was in the debates running up to the 2016 election. I even went to jail on the night of a republican debate as I got pissed and called him racist and got arrested for public intoxication around a bunch of white newly born fascists. But that anger should never have arisen in me in the first place knowing a full blown racist jerk was leading a political party potentially to grab a seat at the WH. Americans were delusional of a big business man. NY could have told us what a crook he was. And then Comey played politics with Hillary's emails and the fallout from racist America from having a black president before it. America got duped big time. In 2020 we had a very clear choice between the devil's puppet and an experienced politician and I'm glad Americans got it right. And even though I do wish Biden was younger, he does know what America needs in this moment. But he does need to realize his plea for peace and hold republicans accountable for their actions can't go hand in hand. He needs to let America know that we will always uphold the law and punish any who break their oaths no matter if it stirs division. Those traitors are a lost cause. There is no going back for them as they will hate no matter what. So just do what is right. Republicans are now complaining they are afraid of death threats from the trump supporters. China would be a great setting for the series. It is a huge country and it has really beautiful landscapes. The culture is intriguing and very ancient. Don't know how far back they would want to go. I can already imagine cool gear and villages spread out in all terrain. And the wildlife, I wonder what animals you would be able to tame. I know there is AC Chronicles China, but I think it is a smaller game and not that popular. Since Ghost of Tsushima came out which has the Japanese setting, then China would most likely be a better bet for AC. But I'm all for a Japanese samurai AC too! I think the game is better to play alone so you can explore and immerse.

Kanye belongs in a psyche ward. At least we have a Black/Indian vice president elect right? And Biden is actually making his administration the most diverse in USA history. I think the problem of our government officials, especially trump and Biden is age. The best diverse thing we can do in government right now is just get younger people. The old folks tend to be white, from the baby boomer population, who are a bit out of touch with America today.

I watched the very first season of this series and missed the second. The third series just started and gonna watch it tonight. Got it recorded. But I am actually more curious about the books. Has anyone read the books? How is it? Do you recommend the read? I think the story itself is great, but from what I remember in the first series it confused me. I think something like this would be expressed well through a book.

I have felt that way in the Assassin’s Creed games. When I get overwhelmed by a bunch of soldiers, and not just take the hits and fight them off right then and there, but to utilize every skill I know how and fight my way out; hack/slash; escape for a few seconds and hide in a bush; creep up to one and assassinate them; then a running charge at another from behind and assassinate; climb up a wall and jump from rooftops shooting arrows and land onto another to assassinate; then brawl some more and smash brains all over the ground after I switch my weapon to use a freakin sledgehammer. Bash some more; slice with a sword; set em on fire. It’s when many surround you everywhere and you have to run, climb, fight, hide, shoot arrows, think fast or die. Then if a bounty hunter was trailing you and they join the fray, or you got three or more bounty hunters all gathered at the same time, my soul get’s taken to a time when my ancestors fought with iron and bone and I no longer exist on this plane of existence. I live a past memory, as in AC, and unleash the fury of an ancient warrior fighting to protect their land. With strength of my own will, speed of my own making, and awareness of my own refusal to surrender; till my last breath; till my body still holds blood; till my muscles still can contract; I will hold your dying spirit here as long as your blood wets my skin. I will swing with fist once my hatchet breaks; I will kick and head bunt till my skull cracks. I can smell the metal mist in the air from exploding blood. Parler was dropped from Amazon. I'm referring to the sites they are now currently using after they have been dropped from all the platforms. So yeah, many have fallen underground just like ISIS. Trump threatened to destroy Iran's heritage sites, which is against international law. And that was when republicans were claiming you can't destroy history or you will repeat it, which was when protestors were destroying confederate monuments across the country. Another hypocrisy by the fascist republicans. And as far as China, we have a failed trade war and we have wasted multiple bailouts for farmers. They are literally surviving off of the government which is socialism. But socialism is ok if you are the one getting aid right? That's what they believe anyways. We can debate economic issues between the two parties, but the last republican president we had this country fell into the great recession; the worse economic crisis since the great depression. And now with trump, he botched a pandemic response which screwed the economy along with the trade war. This economic fallout is always at the hands of republicans. Biden has to clean up the mess like Obama did. And yes, it's gonna get worse. I have no doubts. And when it does, it will be due to this failed pandemic response. But we have to go through it just like a bad divorce when you lose everything. But we cannot get the economy back unless we get the pandemic under control. And republicans have repeatedly shown that they are against trying to help the pandemic crisis.

Now there is investigation about republican congressmen giving tours to groups of people in the capital bldg the day before the attack. The capital didn't allow tours since the beginning of 2020 because of Covid, so that would mean they gave reconnaissance to those groups to scope out the bldg if found to be true. Now trump has a historical second impeachment and republicans are back to bickering. If they don't have a spine now, they absolutely never will. And if trump was kicked out in the first impeachment, all this never would have happened. All due to republican failure to uphold the constitution and break their oaths. Because of the social media ban, these people are now using encrypted sites just like ISIS does. So in this country, imagine ISIS with freedom to gather, protest, and to have freedom of speech. Trumps supporters confuse those rights that it should protect their sedition, treason, and racist violent rhetoric. 6 days to freedom from the failed republican fascist state and coup.

Maybe try a new game or play one you haven't played in a long while. Something I've been thinking about doing is have a day of the week for certain games. Like Friday horror, Tuesday binge a series. That's what I did yesterday, nothing but Assassin's Creed games. Was fun too comparing them and adventuring in different atmospheres. Play a little, then put in another so you don't spend too much time on one in the series. I wouldn't mind having a classic game day in the week and play nothing but old stuff. I just might do that.

Movement of the character in Witcher 3 is very strange. If you turn, he would take a couple steps, pivot, then couple steps and slide when you stop moving him. I've gotten too close to the edge of a mountain and oops! Forgot he slides a few steps after you make him stop moving. Down I go! All the way down. Splatter! Crunch! Well dang, when was the last recent save? Oh you got to be kidding me. I just wanted to see the sunset and valley below. God damn selfie. Such a great game though. Just don't expect to jump on the horse one try. You may have to run in a circle first.

Rum and raisin; now that sounds amazing!

I recently got the FFX remaster on ps4 and trying to give it a go again. I got to somewhere around the final boss on ps2, and the world must have bounced or something, cause I put it down for a long while. Wouldn't mind trying FF8 too. Tis the season for new beginnings!

As investigations are under way, it looks more and more like an inside job from this administration. Nobody would approve of the National Guard to be deployed during the attack; they had plenty of time to prepare since it was shown on social media this was going to take place; panic buttons were torn out from someone inside the capital before the attack even happened; capital police literally opened the barricades for them to enter; capital police had to have escorted attackers to offices that were completely out of plain site, but the crowd took a beeline directly to it? This is pure treason. Now there are metal detectors at the capital bldg and republicans complain about it. If I worked around those republican traitors I wouldn't want them bringing in guns either. More insurrections to come around inauguration. National Guard may get their social media investigated before being deployed to protect Biden in case there are traitors among them too. America is under attack from the inside. 7 days to democratic freedom and the end of the republican coup as we will have a new commander in chief. Just have to make it till then.

I have a 60". I know God isn't a materialistic entity, but when you die and go to heaven SHE will tell you that's the best thing you ever did in life. The gates will open based on you having common sense while on Earth, where material things exist. Even God's creators will nod in agreement that mankind has fulfilled their sole purpose in existence by having a big tv. Cause only then will you be so close to God while you immerse in the lives and actions of the video game world on full display. SHE welcomes your achievement in being mini Gods. You now have experience to walk through the gates and meet your own maker.

I know there have been many different discussions about the different Assassin's Creed titles, but I want to have a general discussion about any and all AC games from the first to Valhalla and future plans you wish they would do. Anything at all that comes to your mind whether love or hate, pics and videos, and an overall tribute to the series. I personally haven't played anything before Brotherhood, but thinking about getting the Ezio Collection that has AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations remastered; I also want the AC3 remastered. I have the rest on up including Valhalla, but haven't started that one yet and I'm getting really excited about it. I want to finish Odyssey first. I'm just taking my time with it cause I like it so much. I don't know what future plans they have, but I would really like Japan, China, or Mongol environments. I wouldn't have to travel anywhere if I had all the AC games! I don't know what really makes me like the series so much, but I do love exploration and different cultures. AC gives me a good dose. So is that why two old guys were boxing a month ago? Trying to put some juice in the can? That rusty can needs to go in the bin. Professional athletes shouldn't be honored after biting an ear off. I don't care who he is.

I would think the Kingdom Hearts series since it's Disney.

The fear factor isn't gonna stand up to some in the horror genre, but its surprising element that makes it unique is its plain craziness. It's a constant progression of a psychological breakdown. The game really is a treasure. And so far Inheritance has a wow factor too. I got the digital bundle for cheap a couple months ago. Not sure where the price is at now, but getting a disc is expensive from what I've seen. And there is an Oculus virtual reality version of Layers of Fear if you got one. I'm gonna have to watch it!
