  1. 36 and I teach autistic children by day and I write about video games and movies by night.
  2. Apparently it's the spiritual successor to Theme Hospital which sounds pretty awesome, eh? https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/two-point-hospital-pc-steam-cd-key
  3. Aliens Colonial Marines Duke Nukem Forever Dungeon Keeper (2014) Ghostbusters (2016) Pixel Heroes: Of Byte and Magic

  5. Great deal for the PC version of this turn-based strategy title. https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/sid-meiers-civilization-vi-6-pc-steam?mw_aref=74dth566
  6. It was an ol' X51 from back in the day (like I mentioned, about 8ish years old). It was 10% off from Dell's Alienware store. Here are the specs off the top of my head: - 1.5gb Geforce GTX 660 - 8gb RAM - 1 TB of storage It's pretty antique now and sometimes crashes, but it was decent at the time.
  7. Like this game a ton. Good price, too. https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch-download-software/UNDERTALE-1347694.html?awc=12777_1550162090_b290bd58e2f72f36e2275f8830a4e9a1&affil=awin&utm_source=AWIN&utm_medium=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digidip.net%2F&utm_campaign=0b009ga6lhkr&utm _content=Discount+Code
  8. Pretty cool news, right? Are you down for this? https://www.nintendoenthusiast.com/2019/02/13/the-legend-of-zelda-links-awakening-remake-announced-for-switch/
  9. Tempted by this. Cheapest I can currently find it. https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8689629?utm_campaign=11553376&cmpid=COJUN&cjsurferid=708804797078167624%3AEZqznyXZB79m&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_content=Pepper+Deals+LTD&utm_source=CJ&cjevent=ffe7db98302511e9817a003b0a180514&catalogId=10001&storeId=10151&_%24ja=tsid%3A11674|prd%3A1546795&utm_term=1453124&referredURL=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.argos.co.uk%2Fproduct%2F8689629&referrer=COJUN&krypto=%2B645JyDjka9UUUG96QwpD6vaqszWJ10d%2FFCVq5npv%2FQ1othW%2BJPd86vBXBfm1wg%2Baia5DSUmhJMy wEmnjFHu5Ypu%2BoOFhF8kmYu1ph7xrpg%3D
  10. Ha, just found this thread. I just recently had 3 wisdom teeth removed. Was given a general anaesthetic so I was asleep thankfully. Woke up to a lot of pain and annoyingly the stitches in my gums got infected. Two weeks later, and I’m only just starting to eat proper food as opposed to soup/smoothies. Was pretty unpleasant!
  11. Probably mentioned this before, but I’m a sucker for Super Mario Bros 1-3 and World. I also love StarWing, Tetris, Nemesis and Super Mario Land, too.
  12. I bought mine from Alienware about 8/9 years for about £800. It’s pretty much a donkey now so I unfortunately don’t use it much except for the odd game of AvP.
  13. Aw, I love the arcades from back in the day. A few lightgun games like House Of The Dead, Aliens: The Gun, Virtua Cop and Area 51 were particular highlights from my youth. Also enjoyed Outrun, Metal Slug and Street Fighter 2. Those were the days!
  14. Yep, I find Skyrim and Fallout super intuituve as well. For me, I find Call Of Duty really natural control-wise. Just feels like second nature now. A game with awkward controls I can think of from recent memory is Red Dead Redemption 2, but to be fair, I just played it over a friend’s house for about 30 minutes so take that comment with a pinch of salt, lol.
  15. Aye, like CruiserX mentioned, if you’re into online multiplayer then it’s a no-brainer. Otherwise, I’d say don’t worry too much about it. The free games and cloud saves are a nice touch, but I wouldn’t say it’s the reason to get PS Plus. Online multiplayer is the real draw. The rest is just nice icing on the cake imho. On a side note, that’s one of the reasons why I love my PS3/Vita... Free multiplayer!
  16. 100% this ^ I love coming back and re-visiting enemies that I found tough in the early game and splatting 'em like flies. I find it super cathartic.
  17. I think I pay around £17 a month for 50 mbps download speed and 30 mbps upload speed. It's not amazing but it does the job.
  18. Personally, I can't stand cheating. I can see the allure, sure, but it just takes away any satisfaction from dominating a game using its own systems against it. I'm all about grinding, though. I find grinding - when done well - to be quite meditative.
  19. Bargain for a great RPG. https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/divinity-original-sin-2-definitive-edition/divinity-original-sin-2-definitive-edition-ps4/p/168235
  20. I don’t open it up but I do occasionally use an ear bud to dig out the dust in the vents along the sides. Helps it to run a little cooler.
  21. All the early Super Mario games are deeply nostalgic to me. Brings back memories of when I was a wee whippersnapper. Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil 4, Goldeneye and San Andreas are also super nostalgic as I played them a lot with my roomies in Uni.
  22. In hindsight, the game Anima Gate of Memories has pretty clunky combat. Also Risen 3 has clunky, unintuitive combat, too. Bad combat can really sink a game, for sure.
  23. I quite like Reigns on my phone. It’s a medieval card-based managing sim. Published by devolver digital, who’re pretty savvy at picking up snazzy indie titles. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reigns_(video_game)
  24. Looks cool. Definitely on my radar now. Cheers for sharing.
  25. Great deal here for a very popular FPS. https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/product/EP0001-CUSA01788_00-RB6SIEGESPDELU04
