It was announced around a few months ago now that Nintendo will be releasing the Nintendo Switch 2 in June and as of last month, the console went on sale for pre-orders. I would have loved to jump on the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order but decided to wait at least for now. Have you pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch 2?

It would seem that Xbox and Asus couldn't keep the Xbox Handheld under wraps as images of the handheld console have now been leaked online. So far, there have not been many details about the Xbox Handheld but with the recent leak, we can now get a look at what the handheld console looks like. What are your thoughts on the Xbox Handheld so far? You can read about the leak over at IGN

Of the many games I have played, some of them have great stories that I get sucked into and others are not so great. I often hear of people who say they played a specific video game and it changed their perception of storytelling in games. What game or games that you have played changed your perception in video games? What was it specifically that changed your perception?

Over the years I have had many different gaming moments, some of which have stuck with me and are still great memories to this day and others that I wouldn't even remember. What is your favourite gaming moment of all time? What makes it your favourite?

Rematch is a new football game from SloClap that I heard about when they were having their last beta just a few weeks ago. I signed up for updates when I heard about the first beta and today I received an email asking me if I wanted to be part of the playtest they are doing tomorrow (Friday 9th of May) so I have accepted and said I am available. I know my eldest son and also my second eldest will be interested in this game as they are football crazy. Will you be playing the Rematch beta? You can see the trailer below

I was looking through my emails to check for an email I had received for another game I am interested in and when I was scrolling, saw an email from EA saying that Arenas is coming back to Apex Legends in Season 25 which I believe is the next new season for Apex. I don't know about anyone else but I loved Arenas when it was in Apex before and was one of the many players who was gutted when they took it away. Later on in Season 25, they will also be releasing a 1v1 arena game mode, which I believe will be ranked but I have yet to look more into that. Will you be playing Arenas in Apex Legends when it comes back?

Over the years we have seen many different games, some that have given us emotional rides and also others that have been emotionally powerful. Of all the games you have played over the year, what game was the most emotionally powerful for you?

I still remember when the console wars were all everyone talked about. Someone would always be high on PlayStation whereas someone else who was high on Xbox would give tons of reasons why Xbox is better than the PlayStation. Thinking about how things are now with consoles, are console wars still relevant?

We have seen many franchises over the years but so many seem to end up forgotten by many. Just because they are forgotten by many does not always mean that they are forgotten by everyone. What are some forgotten franchises that you would love to see return?

Over the years we have seen some great games, some of which have become remasters and even remakes. Not every game that is remastered or remade though tends to be good but you do get some that you would say are the best remakes or remasters. In terms of games that have been remade or remastered, which ones would you say are the best?

Something I always remember growing up as a child, is how you would always get easy, medium, and hard levels in games, and in some cases, you would get a level higher than hard you could select. Nowadays, as much as some games do have an easy mode, they don't all have an easy mode. What are your thoughts? Should all game have an easy mode?

Over the years we have seen video games develop and now we see some amazing mechanics in video games, some of which we never would have thought that we would see maybe 10 - 15 years ago. Of the last 5 years and video game development, what would you say is the most innovative game mechanics?

I know as a gamer myself, I have taken on many boss fights, some of which I don't remember and others that I do remember. Do you remember any boss fights that you took part in? What made the ones you remember the most memorable?

Over the many years I have been playing video games I have played many different games but not every game I play can I say is my favourite. Of all the games you have played over the years, what would you say are your top 5 favourite games ever?

I remember I was around 3/4 years old when I first started gaming. It was my dad that got me and my brothers into gaming when he allowed us to use his Atari that he still had to start playing games. From then we moved to the Amiga, over to the Sega Master System, the Gameboy and the Super Nintendo and just carried on from there.

I would have to say any games that need a lot of thought and are very strategy based are games I am not great at and do find that I tend to get bored of them too easily. I don't mind some games with a little strategy and thought needing to be put into it but too much, and I tend to turn the game off.

I am wanting to get back onto Hogwarts Legacy and continue playing that. I started playing it a few months ago now and enjoyed it when I started playing but time has not allowed for me to get back on and spend some time playing it since then. Hopefully when things start to calm down, I will be able to dedicate some time to the game as it is a great game.

I played some Monopoly Go a little bit ago on my phone. I have been wanting to play more of the new season of Fortnite but my internet has been terrible over this past weekend so waiting for that to fix itself before I attempt to play games online on Fortnite.

Whilst cloud gaming is becoming popular, I still feel that there is a lot of work to be done before it can become the only way to play online. Since the release of cloud gaming with Xbox, I have noticed a huge difference in stability but for them to move solely to cloud gaming, a lot more would need to be done to make it stable enough that it would not have constant issues.

This is not a tough decision for me. It has to be Ori and the Will of the Wisps, one of my favourites and one I find myself going back to so many times when I have the time. I would love to see more games brought out in the franchise and do hope to see that soon.

What’s your opinion on Xbox’s external storage devices?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Xbox
The price tag for official storage devices, especially ones for the Xbox Series X and S are quite steep. I know there are some third party ones out there as a few years ago, I bought my three son's one each for Christmas and they have had no issues with them. I believe if I remember rightly it was the Seagate external storage for the Xbox Series S. -
I am not too much of a horror game fan but I have played some horror games on Xbox and they do have some great ones but I will agree that Xbox should consider more horror games that are exclusive to their console. I am actually quite surprised that they have not looked into bringing more exclusive horror games to their console, they seem to be quite popular and would elevate the platform.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Halo, Gears of War and also love the Forza games too but I agree, they do lack in exclusives in other genres. I would love to see more puzzle games exclusive on Xbox, that seems to be what they are lacking the most.

I used to use the Xbox Mobile App a lot but due to not gaming as much as I was, I tend to only use it now if I need to. I used to use it a lot for checking out new games and even contacting friends on Xbox when they were more active.

How reliable do you think professional game reviews are?
Shortie replied to Scorpion's topic in Gaming Forum
This tends to be a mixed bag when we see game reviews from professionals. In some cases, I have known the game reviews to be quite accurate but then I have come across some game reviews that have been not so accurate. This is one of the reasons I don't always take reviews as a final decision for games and instead will take a look at those playing the game live or those who have made videos as they tend to be more accurate.
