VAR is not the problem and I am glad that VAR was introduced when it was. There were so many times that something happened and it was either ignored or given to a team when it shouldn't have been, VAR has made sure that we see fair penalizations or fair opportunities given in a football match. I do feel that the referees needs to be more vigilant and not be so one-sided like they sometimes are.

This is a good question. I would have to say that my favourite solo sport is tennis. I love to watch the tennis when I am able to and I know that Wimbledon is coming up this month, I believe in just a few weeks or less. I have been a fan of tennis ever since I was a kid and even used to play a lot when I was younger.

As someone who lives in England, I will be rooting for England in this years Euro's. Just a few years ago, we came so close to winning reaching the semi finals and losing, we are hoping that this year is the year we will see them crowned as Euro Champions. Going to be a very nerve racking few weeks for sure!

As someone who is a huge music lover, I love to listen to music when I am in the shower. I have a walk in shower that was fitted in my bedroom due to the health issues that I have health wise and I tend to always put music on my Alexa that I have upstairs to listen to whilst I shower.

What's Your Favorite Radio Station and Its Genre Of Music?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Music
I don't listen to the radio as much as I used to anymore due to having access to Amazon Music on my echo. When I was listening to the radio regularly though, my favourite radio station to listen to was Magic and they used to play all different kinds of music from the 70's all the way up to music we have today, there was always a great variety of music to listen to. -
I have heard many diss tracks in the past from many different artists and for me, it depends on the diss track and what is said within that track. Some diss tracks I have enjoyed and can fully understand why they made it but others I find to be too much and too over the top.

I have never won a radio contest but I remember years ago, my mum was out in town whilst me and my brothers were in school and the local radio station she listened to was in the town on that day. She went to check things out and got pulled up and asked if she wanted to take part in a contest, she agreed and got the answer right and she won the latest album at the time that was released by Wet Wet Wet. She was over the moon as she was a fan of the band.

Many of my family say that I can sing as they have heard me in the past but I personally don't believe them. If I were to base it on how I would rate my singing it would probably be a 2 but if my family were to, it would probably be between the range of 8 - 10

Which Movies Are You Looking Forward To This Year?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Movies & TV
One movie I am very much looking forward to seeing this year and I am super happy we are now finally getting a second movie is Beetlejuice 2! I loved Beetlejuice growing up and for years, many have wondered if we would ever see a second one, now we have our answer! -
I had been watching and keeping up with Chicago Fire but with my work being so busy and also my health taking a turn, I have fallen behind and now need to watch the end of Season 10 and the whole of Season 11 before Season 12 releases later this year. My aim is to find some time and just binge watch as much as I can.
-
I tend to watch TV shows that are from the US nowadays, I find the TV shows we get here in the UK to be too plain and boring and not enough to keep me entertained. One of the TV shows that I watch and really enjoy which is a US drama is Chicago Fire.

The last movie I watched was Good Burger 2, can probably tell I don't watch movies too often being that was the movie I watched back in November 2023! I have just recently got a three month trial with Disney Plus and have seen some movies on there that interest me so when I have some time, I will be watching those.

I had no clue about this! I have been using Windows 11 now since I got my laptop back in July 2023 and as much as I do love the OS and find it runs smooth, the fact they are pushing things like this without warning that can impact user privacy is disgusting. Glad I saw this, will be looking more into Recall.

AI does seem to be becoming more advanced as the months go by but AI in its current state at the moment I don't believe has the potential to replace human jobs but instead, make jobs for humans less stressful. Who knows what could happen in 5 years or even 10 years time with how fast AI is advancing, I just hope it doesn't completely take over human jobs.
-
This is very much not too much to ask! This would be amazing and something I believe many would take advantage of. If I had my own personal AI, I would give it the tasks I have daily of housework such as washing clothes, washing dishes, vacuuming, dusting, de-cluttering and such. A lot of the time it is so difficult to work and also have time for things such as that so having AI be able to take those tasks from me would be a huge weight lifted.

Ever Contemplated Developing Your Own App or Program?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Technology & Gadgets
I have in the past had ideas for apps that I would like to create and have gone as far as to look into how I would create an app but once I get to know what it all entails, I know I wouldn't be able to code something and create something the way I would need to. -
For years I would always use wired earphones, I would even use wired earbuds too but since I have been able to get both wireless headphones and earbuds, I could never go back to using these with a wire. You don't realize just how much the wire gets in the way until it is no longer there anymore!

Most of the time I am very careful with my phone but over time with the health issues I suffer from, I have found that my hands have become weaker and they also shake, due to that back last year, I accidentally dropped my phone and cracked the screen at the bottom. I can still use the phone but it's not got cracks on the screen which can be annoying, hoping to get a new one as soon as I can.

As someone who enjoys the Resident Evil games and also enjoys open world games, I feel an Open World Resident Evil game could work if done correctly. It would bring a new and fresh lease of life to the game and would make it interesting too I feel.

Parents Sue Gaming Giants for 'Addictive' Game Design
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming News
I hate to see things like this. I was brought up playing video games and never once did my parents ever complain about the design of a video game causing any kind of addiction. The problem is parents who don't want to take care of their kids like they should and instead put them in front of a console and leave them to it. No parent should ever be doing that at all and when things do south, they turn and blame video games rather than their way of parenting because it can't possibly be their fault. Gaming is fine for kids as long as it is monitored. -
This does not surprise me at all in the slightest. I feel this tends to be something that happens more often than it is made public but most of the time, they find a way to keep it away from the public limelight and many believe that the cheers and claps are real rather than forced. It is a shame that cheering occurred when the mention of studio closures happened, that is not something that should be cheered.

Gamers have been waiting so long for an announcement of a new game, I too have been patiently waiting and to have received news now of a release day, all I have to say is, finally! Rockstar released GTA V and they have managed to keep that game going for 10 years which is amazing and even now, many still play the game daily. I am looking forward to what Rockstar may have in store for us in GTA VI but much like many gamers, fall 2025 can not come soon enough!

Ubisoft's The Division Heartland Officially Cancelled
Shortie replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
As much as I did enjoy The Division in the early stages of its release, it's not a game I would jump back into quickly and have not missed playing it at all. XDefiant looks good and I believe with dedication, that could become a great game over time if they do things right. -
Now that the reveal is out and we have confirmation that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the next release, I wouldn't say that I am overly excited but I do feel with this game they are going in the right direction. For years, many have complained about how much Call of Duty changed, prestige mode being taken away, the zombies mode being changed, it seems that they are going back and fixing what they took away and even though I am not excited, I do want to check out this years Call of Duty.

I have to agree with @Shagger cheating and modding are two completely different things and I would hate to get them confused and those companies who do not cheat be penalized for something such as modding. As @killamch89 has said, they should not be in the same category and I agree.
