I do feel that it has become somewhat of a gimmick if I am honest especially with just about everyone jumping on the VR train and releasing their own. I know my youngest keeps asking me for a VR headset, but I have often been put off by the price as they are not exactly cheap and I also feel that if I was to purchase one, I would purchase it for the whole family and not just one person especially for the price. I guess my concern would be that I myself and also my youngest suffer from motion sickness and I had heard that VR can bring on motion sickness and I would hate to have purchased one and then some of us not be able to use it.

I would love to see Simpsons Road Rage or Simpsons Hit and Run brought back or remade if I am honest. I remember especially with Simpsons Hit and Run I loved that game and spent so many hours on it just playing through, completing everything. I think in the end I finally completed the game 100% I had that much fun with it. To be able to go through it again now especially after it's been so long since I played it before and go back to it in better quality on a newer console would be awesome. We can only hope they choose to remake them or bring them back someday.

I think if they were to release another portable console, they would have to get it as close to their PS5 as possible but in handheld form for it to be a hit. Many now want something that they can use when on the go and at times when they can not take their PS5 with them, something like a handheld with cross-progression would be amazing for those who want to be able to game on the go still. If they were to get it as close to their PS5 but for on the go, I feel it would be a huge hit for PlayStation fans.

I have often been annoyed by the fact that I have to add people, or they have to add me using a friend code rather than just a username or a gamertag like with PlayStation and Xbox. I don't mind adding people the friend code way, but it can be a pain doing that and making sure you get it right when a username would be so much easier to do to add someone. I am hoping that one day they will change their online service and get a better online network where you can use usernames or gamertags rather than friend codes, as of yet though, no word on if they will ever change this.

At the moment I still have the grey joy cons that came with the very first Nintendo Switch console and I did buy some third-party ones a few years ago for my kids so they could all play Just Dance together at Christmas, and they are orange and blue. My current official joy cons do have stick drift, so I am looking to get new ones in the future. The ones I have been looking at and do like are the Orange and Purple official joy cons mainly for the purple color. I would love for them both to just be purple, but it seems they only do one color for both in third-party, I haven't as of yet seen any official ones that are the same color aside from the grey ones you get with the console.

The fact that people are willing to sit and code a fan made version of a game is just amazing and as you say, some of them are just amazing and definitely worth being looked into my game developers in possibly bringing them in to work for them. I can only imagine the number of hours they must put in to get the game to get it where it's playable with limited problems and get barely any recognition for the game is very sad. Hopefully one day developers will pick up on those who make fan made games and appreciate them a little more than they do now.

I would love to see Xbox release a portable console if I am honest and it's been something I have longed to see them release and as of yet, they haven't. I think this is the only thing they have not gone for in terms of Microsoft and Xbox and now with the Cloud and the ability to game anywhere even with a phone and a tablet, it does make me wonder if they will ever consider a portable console or they will just not bother due to the cloud option. I will still keep my hopes up though for a portable console from them as you never know with Microsoft and Xbox.

This is awesome and the first I have heard of this. I do still have an original Xbox upstairs that I kept that I could try this on just to be able to go back. It would bring back a lot of memories to be able to go back to the Xbox Live 1.0 service. I remember how basic the first Xbox was and their online service so being able to go back to that and just see how much things have changed over the year would be amazing.

I am a true believer that if you are interested in a game, you should totally give it a whirl as you can never know if you will enjoy it unless you try it. I myself have played State of Decay 1 & 2 and I enjoyed both of them, but I am a different person and what I enjoyed may not be something you enjoy. If you are able to snag then at a bargain price, I say give it a shot, you may be quite surprised and at least if you didn't like it, you didn't waste a lot of money.

I am not sure how popular amiibos are now, but I know they were really popular at one point. I myself didn't end up collecting any but my brother was one who would collect them, and he had quite a few of them and was always showing me the ones, he had collected. They were so cute, and I would have loved to collect them myself but money wise, it wasn't something that was in my budget at the time.

At the moment I have one wired third-party controller for my Nintendo Switch and they official joy-cons that I got with the Nintendo Switch when it was purchased. My third-party controller is a newer one that I got on offer a few weeks ago due to my current controller having a lot of stick drift. Unfortunately, my official joy cons also have stick drift, and I would love to be able to replace those but at the moment, I haven't been able to get around to it.

I think having a game that solely focused on say Goombas or Koopa Troopas would be a fun game to play. We have definitely never seen anything like that and it's something I feel would be a big hit if they were to release it. They are enemies to Mario, and we always see them from that point of view so seeing them from another point of view where maybe Mario is the enemy would be a great experience.

I have to agree with this and the one game that springs to mind is Super Smash Bros for me. As much as the one on the Switch is still somewhat difficult, it's really not as difficult as many say it was before the Nintendo Switch. I remember as a kid I would sit and play games on my Super Nintendo and would get so frustrated with parts of the game that were difficult, I play a game now and it doesn't seem half as difficult as it used to be when I was younger. I think it's the same for everything now though, no matter what console you are on. One thing I noticed is how when I was younger you would have so many lives and once, they had gone, you started again. You don't see that as much anymore in games which I feel does make them easier than they used to be.

I feel with Nintendo they are always so unpredictable with what they may release next or where they may take their consoles next. I feel with the Nintendo Switch being such a huge success for them, a console that takes the Switch but makes it a little more powerful maybe would be a good way for them to go. Saying that, when I sit here and think of the Switch, I honestly cannot think of any ways they would possibly be able to go even better but, Nintendo are always out for surprising us. I guess in time we will find out where they take their console next.

This game looks like a ton of fun and definitely a game me and my kids would have a lot of fun on if we played. I can't believe I missed this game being that I was such a huge fan of Kirby when I was younger. I have a Nintendo Switch myself so I am going to be looking into this game and how much it is to snag it and see if I will be able to jump on it. I was just saying in another post how I would love to try a Kirby game on the Switch just to see what they are like now; this looks like the perfect one to go for.

I absolutely loved Kirby as a kid when I was growing up and the one game I remember playing so much when I was a kid was Kirby's Dreamland on the Gameboy. I spent so much time on that game just playing through and even now when I sit here and think of those playthroughs I can hear the theme and the noise Kirby made as well. I honestly haven't played any of the newer Kirby games on say the Nintendo Switch, but I would love to play them just to see how they are now compared to when I was playing when I was a kid.

This is the first time I have seen this game if I am honest it does look like a game, I would play but I am not sure if it would be one that I would play for a long period of time. It seems like it would be one of those games that I personally myself would play every so often to pass the time or if I needed a break from a game I was currently playing through. I am curious though so I will be looking more into this game.

I would absolutely love to see the burnout games make a comeback if I am honest. I remember playing Burnout Paradise and that game was amazing, but I can't say I have seen any other Burnout games released since then or if they have, I have missed them. Burnout Paradise is definitely the one that sticks out to me and to have something similar to that make a comeback would be amazing!

Do you have the habit of moving your arms/body with the game?
Shortie replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
I wouldn't say that I do this all the time, but I have found myself to move in the direction of the game especially when I have had to as you state maneuver around things and also in racing games as well, I have been known to move my body in the direction of the way the car is going in the game. One thing I have also noticed is that when I am playing say a battle royale game and I am getting closer to winning, I will move myself more forward towards the screen as if it helps me concentrate more, it's very weird. It doesn't always help me though lol. -
There are a few games myself that I have played in the past that have been really good games but do not have the greatest graphics if I am honest. House Flipper was one, the game was amazing and very addictive to play but the graphics were not the greatest and I even noticed sometimes they would glitch Power wash simulator was another game that I have played and again found very addictive, but the graphics again were not the greatest.

I can definitely agree with this for sure. You will be surprised at how much you can take in from video games even in some cases sub consciously that you later may need and you think back to how you know that or in some cases because you took it in sub consciously you don't remember where you learned it from. When I was a kid I remember gaming was pretty much frowned up on if you played too much but now that I am older I realize that gaming is much more than just sitting there and playing games and not doing anything, it's so much more than that and you can learn a lot from gaming and I really do feel like many are starting to see that now and the stigma of gaming being bad isn't like it used to be anymore.

I am not an esports player myself but I have often wondered if I ever could be. Unfortunately it would take a lot of time on games and with my current life away from games being so chaotic I wouldn't have the time at the moment to be able to play as much as I would need to hit where I would need to for esports. Maybe one day I will be able to dedicate more time into possibly becoming an esports player, it's definitely on my bucket list.

Does anyone know a successful esports player well?
Shortie replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
I can't say that I have met or been acquainted with any esports player that I know of if I am honest, if I have I have been completely oblivious to the fact they were a successful esports player. I would like to meet someone who is a successful esports player though, someone who would be willing to talk about their experience and who I could ask questions and learn something. -
I guess the only thing I could think of that would become an issue for someone in esports as a professional would be how long they have to be sat for in a tournament. Sitting for longer periods without movement will always lead to health issues at a later date and in many cases, this could be what causes a esports player to move away from playing games professionally. I guess also thee constant looking at screens for long periods could also cause issues and could push someone to have to stop earlier than intended.

I honestly don't think I can think of any action games that don't have bosses in them somewhere. Even as far back as Sonic and Mario you would always run into a boss at some point that you had to take out before you could progress further in the game, the difference there though was that way back you would be limited to how many lives you had making it more difficult.
