Is there a genre of video games that you absolutely refuse to play? What is your reasoning for not playing? Of what is available today, I can think of only one that I would flat our say "no" to. There's genres that aren't my thing, but I don't just absolutely refuse to have anything to do with them. In recent years, my taste in games has actually expanded dramatically. I'm not the biggest fan of first person games, but I do play a couple. The only thing absolutely I refuse to play is online games. I absolutely hate them and quite often just want to puke at the mere thought of them. I'm not condemning anyone if they like them. Have at it. But I still can't stand online gaming, and I've given it many tries, from many games, on many platforms. I absolutely hated it every time I tried, and actually DID puke after a couple due to the experience.

Civilization would completely stop. No one working, and certain industries would dry up and close shop. We would be back to medieval times, living in grass huts and forced to be self sufficient. I personally wouldn't be complaining, but the technological would would either have never come to be, or cease to exist.

My birds follow me around the house. Apple takes flight to come find me, and Maxine just walks around until she's found me.

Probably the supplies they need to continue training me.

Let's start with a few of mine. Rats- PROS- 1) They are extremely playful. 2) They love to explore. 3) They're affectionate as hell. 4) They're cute as hell. 5) Rats are one of the most loyal animals in the world. CONS- 1) They have an extremely short life span. 2) They bite often if they don't know a person. 3) They're masterful escape artists. Houdini has nothing on a rat. 4) Despite what many will tell you, they're incredibly high maintenance. 5) Rat food isn't cheap. ************************************************************************* Birds- PROS- 1) They're playful. 2) They're beautiful. 3) They love to cuddle. 4) They have wider personalities than any other animal. 5) They have the intelligence level equal to that of a 3 year old. CONS- 1) They're expensive. 2) They tend to bond with only one person. 3) They're extremely high maintenance. 4) They have the intelligence level equal to that of a 3 year old. 5) They are often mean as hell to the people they didn't choose to bond with. 6) They require lots of stimulation for their mental health. 7) Their supplies are extremely expensive. Cages for a macaw tend to run close to $1000.

I don't even have to say anything.

I love it when their bigotry backfires on them. They deserve it. The thing is that while the bible is banned, the Book Of Mormon is not. So there could still be a fight on thier hands in Utah over that one. We'll just have to wait and see. I tried several times to open this link, but it wouldn't work. I eventually had to cut and paste it.

Just let her know that she has friends here if she needs us. We're all here for the both of you as well as your child.

Assassin's Creed is a great series. Initially I hated it due to the never ending training at the beginning of the games. But after getting through that, I've found it really enjoyable.

How many of these games have you guys played? Conker's Bad Fur Day is one of my absolute favorites. @Rain Dew is a huge fan of the Resident Evil series. She's making videos playing it all the time. And who hasn't played Majora's Mask? I mean seriously? I was initially surprised that Hatred wasn't on the list. But then considering that it was pulled from almost everywhere you could have gotten the game, it would have been hard as hell to find. I'm just happy that I was able to find it on Steam.

I wasn't really noticing of all this going on. But I can't say I'm surprised at all the clones. Whatever anyone says, you can't compete with the nerd.

Truth Or Dare It's different than all the others. It's a whole new twist to all the Truth Or Dare movies that have been made over the past several years.

I absolutely LOVE Layers Of Fear. I got it on Switch as I liked the trailer, and was instantly hooked. A psychological thriller that is actually able to bring out your own fears? HELL YES!!!!

Exactly. The game was severely lacking and just horribly written.

I've never heard of Madison before, but after viewing the trailer, I can easily say that I'll be buying it as soon as I get paid next week. Another one is Remorses as it's a total mindfuck. It doesn't look like it's out yet, but it's another one that I'll be buying upon release.

I never owned one, but I do think it was an important system. It was a precursor to what would make the Switch a success. They heard what gamers were saying, which led them to design a console that fixed those problems as best they could. The Switch is a complete redesign of the Wii U. So while it was a massive flop, I think that told them that they had to do something different for their next console if they didn't want to go back to making playing cards again.

As of right now, the only game I have for it is a ROM-hack. It's Zelda Ancient Stone Tablets. It's also called Zelda B.S. a lot. And no the "BS" doesn't mean bullshit. It's actually Broadcast Satellaview. I've been awake all of 10 minutes, so I'm not going to be able to go into detail right now. All I can say is google it to find out the whole story behind it.

Honestly I have to say no. In my opinion BOTW was junk. It was just a horrible game. Why they chose to downgrade the graphics so drastically is beyond me. But that's just a pet peeve. The thing about the game that really turns me off from it is the tiny inventory and the shit weapons. Plus the fact that everything breaks in 3 hits doesn't help. Rupees are EXTREMELY rare, so if you're wanting to upgrade your armor, you're shit out of luck. It's just not worth it in my opinion. So I have no interest in playing a direct sequel that most likely didn't improve a damn thing.

Ok all modern(ish) copies of Windows have the "Run programs for previous versions of Windows" feature. I've tried using it to play games like AOE2 and Diablo. But it never works. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, if the program is screwed up, or if the games simply aren't compatible despite the program feature. If there's anything I can do to run those games I would absolutely love it. I know there's a remaster on Steam, but you all know I'm all about nostalgia.

It is so sad that that's a normal daily question, instead of a rare unique one. When the Columbine incident happened, people were in shock and couldn't believe it. Now everyone's blasè about it. It's become as normal a question as asking what the weather forecast is.

The screws in the Switch are down in the shell beyond where pliers could ever reach. Also they're Y screws. If they were phillips screws or flat screws, things would be much easier. Hell, even hex screws would be better. But it's that damn Y shit that seriously drives me insane. I'll try the thing you posted. Hopefully it will do the trick. Anyway, here's a pic of the bullshit I'm dealing with.

Welcome back. Most people are concentrating on AAA games. Games like TLOU, RDR2, GTA, Skyrim, and others. Me personally I'm still playing my classic systems. Right now, I have my N64 hooked up and have been playing Zelda OoT. I've been dipping in and out of RDR2, but not as much as usual as I've kinda burnt out on it.

How does that add anything to this conversation?

I need to open up my Switch, because the R1 button sticks really bad so I need to clean it up. The problem I'm having is that some of the screws are completely stripped. I've watched videos that supposedly work, but I haven't had any luck. One was to press down with a rubber band between the screw and screwdriver. Another was to put a bit of superglue on the tip of the screwdriver and to hold is firmly against the screw. Neither of those worked for me. I don't want to snap the shell of this thing, but I need to open it to clean it. I spent a good amount of money for the right screwdrivers to so this, and now the screws are giving me a big "fuck you". Anyone have any ideas?
