  1. I got it for $30. And from the time I have spent playing it so far, it hasn't disappointed and is well worth that $30. After playing it, I say it is easily worth twice that. Regardless of what you pay, you won't regret it.
  2. By force I had to watch Sleeping Beauty. 0/10
  3. Not a good choice. Those hinges will break easily. More so than the flip phones that were all the rage a decade ago. people were constantly breaking them, and replacing them with new phones that weren't built that way, even though lately they seem to be making a bit of a comeback. But by looking at this phone, It will break in half a hell of a lot quicker.
  4. This has already been brought up Here.
  5. Well said. It must always be remembered, that respect is only to be EARNED and never to be granted.
  6. I take snapshots and short videos on my Switch all the time. If I want to post them, I just upload them to Twitter than save them to my PC. My Twitter is a throwaway account that I only use for this purpose alone.
  7. Where would I even begin? I'll just list off some of the more obscure ones. I'll try to go for 4 on NES, SNES, and N64. NES-- Clash At Demonhead Marble Madness A Boy And His Blob Spy Hunter SNES-- F-Zero Illusion Of Gaia Populous Super Putty N64-- Hexen MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero South Park Castlevania Remember this is just games that it seems like everyone has forgotten in my eyes. With Castlevania, I'm not saying people have forgotten about the franchise, but instead just that one entry. Also I'm not saying all these games are good, just forgotten.
  8. I was going to say Kratos. He’s the best option that I can think of, but by now, it’s kinda pointless to try to set a mascot. You need to have that mascot from the beginning, not 5 systems later.
  9. I was never able to find a significant difference between any of the first 3 Sonic games. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fun franchise, but they just didn’t offer anything new.
  10. I never used a binder for my disc games. I can’t really give any particular reason other than simple preference. As for my cartridge games, I store them in plastic tubs with lids. I keep them dust and moisture free as best I can, to make sure that they work for as long as possible.
  11. Renegade is one of the few games I don’t own at the moment. Possibly due to me having all 3 Double Dragon games. I know I’ve played it, but can’t recall any specific times.
  12. I know HTML and CSS as well, and like you, that’s about as far as my coding skills go. I can manipulate a prewritten JavaScript, but so far I still can’t write my own.
  13. I’m part of a crew that codes and puts out games once or twice a year. Depending on the game, there are on average 15-20 of us working on it. We’re not looking to bring anymore people in, and we try to stay away from the sickeningly overdone and overused games. If you want to assemble a crew you need to do it ABOVE THE DESK NOT UNDER IT. No one will work with you like that when you’re the one who will get all the credit and they get none. It’s time for you to find something else to do.
  14. Dragon Strike. It was one of the best board games I ever played. I posted the VHS video on another thread here somewhere on the forum, but I'll post it here as well.
  15. I used to have a job at the mall operating a VR ride. How it worked was that you would pick a scenario that you wanted to "ride". There was an enclosed thing that you got inside, and would move and jerk in accordance with the video that played in front of you. A lot of people got motion sickness on it. To do it, I had to experience all of them. There were roller coasters, race car rides, boat rides, outer space rides, and several others. It was 20 years ago, and my memory is shit, so there's no way I could remember all of them. If I do remember though, it was actual footage that was played inside the machine to try to make the ride as realistic as possible.
  16. These are two of my all time favorites. I played them all the time, and still do. But what I want to know is, who else has played them? I mean the first Blaster Master on NES, and LOTW on NES. LOTW never got a sequel, but Blaster Master had a few remakes. But I'm asking strictly about the original on NES. Who played either of them? What are your thoughts? Did you ever manage to beat the Plutonium Boss? Were you able to find the crowns and kill the dragon? And if so WHERE THE HELL ARE THE LAST THREE FUCKING CROWNS????????
  17. The thing I would be worried about with VR is a person developing Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). People can get so ingrained in a game through something like VR that they forget who they are and are unable to separate the video game world from the real world. They think they are the character they created in the game IRL. It could be like a Ready Player One meets Surrogates situation.
  18. I don't use social media, unless YouTube counts. I do have a throwaway Facebook account, but that's just because FB requires you to have an account to even view anything on the site. I have a Twitter, but that's only so I can upload images from my Switch, like the ones I post in the rewards thread @DC has going. But again, it's just a throwaway account. I used to post pics of my pets on an Instagram, but I can't remember any of the login or even what the link would be.
  19. Yes. I was playing Zelda A Link To The Past a couple years ago. I had a file I had kept on it since I was a kid. It was one where I went through the entire game in one sitting and got a perfect score. I had wanted to keep file game on there forever. I moved my foot and caught it on the cord for the controller, which jerked the system. When I restarted all 3 files were blank. Needless to say, I was pissed.
  20. From what I've been reading here, the game is an open ended game with no actual end. How would you beat or finish such a game? Or should I just stick with SMB? LOL
  21. You've got a damn good point. Then when you realize that it was all fake, it will fuck you up. I've had dreams where I met someone, fell in love, and spent my life married to them. Then when I woke up I realized it wasn't real and ended up with a broken heart. The same applies here.
  22. I lost so much time to this game as well as the first one. I have to say that the first one was better, but this one was amazing too. I haven’t played it in a while. I should probably pop it in soon.
  23. I’ve got a love-hate relationship with RDR2. I’ve put a ton of hours into it, and still feel like I’ve found the family I needed but never had. I even miss Micah when I’m not playing, and that’s saying something.
