  1. I missed something again. What did they do?
  2. AOE was mostly just grunts, not any kind of actual language. Unless you're talking about AOE3. In AOE1 and AOE2 even with their expansion packs there was no language of any kind spoken.
  3. I recently bought the RDR2 Ultimate Edition off eBay from someone in Canada. I wanted the code that unlocks the free stuff. The special edition does it for single player in story mode, the ultimate does it for single player and online. I got the ultimate edition because it was the only one available. We all know that I hate online gaming, so obviously the online part doesn't mean shit to me. A few years ago I also bought two PocketStations from Japan. I wanted them to unlock items in FF8 that were unavailable otherwise. But now that it's been redone, the items are in the game. I always wondered what the hell a Ribbon did, because the guide only said "GF Learns Ribbon Ability" which didn't tell me shit. And I could never find a damn thing online that explained it. Turns out, that a Ribbon makes you immune to every status attack including death. So I always make sure to turn on invincibility, hook someone up with a Firaga attack and counter, then find a hexadragon, and leave the game running overnight to farm items. I always get the Ribbons I need. I also bought a bundle of Zelda games, most of them were GBA games from somewhere in Asia. It's been so long though, that I honestly don't remember where.
  4. It was released for a very short time, but the sales were so dismal that Nintendo would have actually lost money to continue to produce it. That's why it was never released outside of Japan. You can get a 64DD on eBay, but I haven't seen any there for less that $1500. So unless you're a Nintendo or general video game collector, it's not worth wasting the money on.
  5. In all honesty, I personally haven't seen Capcom anywhere. But I'm not into RE, so that may be a reason. And I thought Konami was dead.
  6. I've heard good things about ExpressVPN. I haven't signed up for a VPN myself, but have been considering it for a while now too. I made a post somewhere here asking about VPN's, but can't for the life of me remember where, or what anyone said in their replies to it.
  7. Yeah, RDR2 is a prime example of that. The player is left to decide the morality of everything. Whereas, so many games tell you the morality, this one sure as hell doesn't.
  8. I'd love to see Capcom and Konami come back.
  9. I have to say the first one. The graphics were sleek, and ahead of their time. The amount of blood and gore was great. The moves were innovative, the voice acting was great, and the finishing moves were awesome. But after that, they seemed to decline in those qualities, and got too generic. I think it was Smoke that was more or less just a mechanical Scorpion. Sad.
  10. EDIT: My initial reply in this post was incorrect.
  11. Played? No. Attempted to play? Yes. That thing is so fucked up, I'm willing to bet my Jeep that even the developers couldn't figure out how to use it.
  12. I would just use a couple cement blocks as a riser. They're cheaper, and often times a hell of a lot more sturdy than the shit labeled "riser" or whatever. They weigh 50 pounds (22.7kg) each, so the weight is fairly difficult to work with. But in my eyes, worth it. And if something breaks, just remember: DUCT TAPE FIXES EVERYTHING!
  13. PS4 was the first time Sony altered their controllers in any way, not counting wireless. They redid the angles and length, but kept the same layout and basic design. And in doing so, they made the most comfortable gaming controller in modern gaming. Not to mention being a thousand times more comfortable than the controllers of the old systems from Atari to now.
  14. The only ones that would be able to play the 1up cabinets to scale like an adult and a full size cabinet would be children and LP’s. But I don’t see anyone building an arcade for 9 year olds or the LP community.
  15. There will never be a women’s league. Considering that gaming doesn’t take the same physical ability that is required for sports like basketball or hockey, there’s no real characteristic that would divide men and women in skill. In some battle royale games, there are women who are like goddesses and others that are so bad a brain dead monkey would be a more challenging opponent. The same is said for men. So I personally don’t see a logical reason to make a league for only women. TERF’s would definitely disagree with that, but fuck those delusional cunts.
  16. RDR2
  17. So are they discontinuing Mario games? That doesn’t make any sense to me, as the Mario franchise is obviously their biggest and most successful one. It makes Zelda look like a total flop. Maybe I’m just too old to get this shit.
  18. No it's not. Most convenient, yes. Best, not by a long shot. The best Nintendo console ever is hands down the NES.
  19. "Besides addressing carjacking, the bill also changes the definition of a “violent video game” to one in which players “control a character within the video game that is encouraged to perpetuate human-on-human violence in which the player kills or otherwise causes serious physical or psychological harm to another human or an animal.” Great. This means we're left with golf. Wait a minute, a golf club is a weapon. Tiddlywinks is safe, right?
  20. I'll make sure to let them know how I learned to freeze people solid after playing Mortal Kombat. And I'm curious how many outlaw gangs are roaming around, robbing trains, robbing banks, robbing wagons, and chewing cocaine gum? If games cause violence and crime, then I can blame misspelled words on my pencil.
  21. There was some idiot who broke into a house, and was stupid enough to post about it on his Facebook while in the house. The real kicker was that HE DIDN'T FUCKING LOG OUT. I have to stop asking how stupid can a person be. People are starting to take it as a challenge.
  22. I don't go for achievements per se, unless it's just something I find interesting to do. I like to try to fill up the compendium of all the animals, fish, weapons, equipment, etc. etc. in RDR2. I also enjoy their challenges. The Explorer is the easiest to complete all 10 in full. Master Hunter, Horseman, and Weapons Expert are a lot of fun too. They aren't important for much, but they're a nice distraction from the story line when you need one.
  23. An obscenely large part of that was Micah. Always being Dutch's yes-man, and stroking his ego. Encouraging his most idiotic and destructive ideas. But then he was also a narc, and was trying to make the gang come as undone as possible. I personally believe that Dutch never actually cared about anyone in the gang anyway. He was just using them to make him rich, and when he felt he had a satisfactory amount of money he would abandon them with every cent. He was more of a problem than anyone in the gang. If they had just shot him and put Hosea in charge, they would have all lived great lives. Hosea had common sense, intelligence, and the gang's best interests at heart. None of which Dutch never cared for.
  24. Diablo and Diablo II are a couple good ones. Especially on the harder difficulty settings.
  25. Simon’s Quest is, in my opinion, one of the best in the franchise. I’ve never been able to figure out why it got so much hate. Sure it’s a really difficult game, but it’s more cryptic difficulty than any other kind of difficulty. Which to me is kinda the best style of difficult.
