EDIT: My initial reply in this post was incorrect.

Played? No. Attempted to play? Yes. That thing is so fucked up, I'm willing to bet my Jeep that even the developers couldn't figure out how to use it.

I would just use a couple cement blocks as a riser. They're cheaper, and often times a hell of a lot more sturdy than the shit labeled "riser" or whatever. They weigh 50 pounds (22.7kg) each, so the weight is fairly difficult to work with. But in my eyes, worth it. And if something breaks, just remember: DUCT TAPE FIXES EVERYTHING!

Do you feel the PS5 controller looks outdated?
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Playstation
PS4 was the first time Sony altered their controllers in any way, not counting wireless. They redid the angles and length, but kept the same layout and basic design. And in doing so, they made the most comfortable gaming controller in modern gaming. Not to mention being a thousand times more comfortable than the controllers of the old systems from Atari to now. -
The only ones that would be able to play the 1up cabinets to scale like an adult and a full size cabinet would be children and LP’s. But I don’t see anyone building an arcade for 9 year olds or the LP community.

There will never be a women’s league. Considering that gaming doesn’t take the same physical ability that is required for sports like basketball or hockey, there’s no real characteristic that would divide men and women in skill. In some battle royale games, there are women who are like goddesses and others that are so bad a brain dead monkey would be a more challenging opponent. The same is said for men. So I personally don’t see a logical reason to make a league for only women. TERF’s would definitely disagree with that, but fuck those delusional cunts.

No it's not. Most convenient, yes. Best, not by a long shot. The best Nintendo console ever is hands down the NES.

"Besides addressing carjacking, the bill also changes the definition of a “violent video game” to one in which players “control a character within the video game that is encouraged to perpetuate human-on-human violence in which the player kills or otherwise causes serious physical or psychological harm to another human or an animal.” Great. This means we're left with golf. Wait a minute, a golf club is a weapon. Tiddlywinks is safe, right?

I'll make sure to let them know how I learned to freeze people solid after playing Mortal Kombat. And I'm curious how many outlaw gangs are roaming around, robbing trains, robbing banks, robbing wagons, and chewing cocaine gum? If games cause violence and crime, then I can blame misspelled words on my pencil.

I don't go for achievements per se, unless it's just something I find interesting to do. I like to try to fill up the compendium of all the animals, fish, weapons, equipment, etc. etc. in RDR2. I also enjoy their challenges. The Explorer is the easiest to complete all 10 in full. Master Hunter, Horseman, and Weapons Expert are a lot of fun too. They aren't important for much, but they're a nice distraction from the story line when you need one.

An obscenely large part of that was Micah. Always being Dutch's yes-man, and stroking his ego. Encouraging his most idiotic and destructive ideas. But then he was also a narc, and was trying to make the gang come as undone as possible. I personally believe that Dutch never actually cared about anyone in the gang anyway. He was just using them to make him rich, and when he felt he had a satisfactory amount of money he would abandon them with every cent. He was more of a problem than anyone in the gang. If they had just shot him and put Hosea in charge, they would have all lived great lives. Hosea had common sense, intelligence, and the gang's best interests at heart. None of which Dutch never cared for.

Diablo and Diablo II are a couple good ones. Especially on the harder difficulty settings.

Unpopular series installments you love

Simon’s Quest is, in my opinion, one of the best in the franchise. I’ve never been able to figure out why it got so much hate. Sure it’s a really difficult game, but it’s more cryptic difficulty than any other kind of difficulty. Which to me is kinda the best style of difficult. -
This is actually more common than people would think. There are a lot of games where you play as a criminal. But the character a person plays is almost always the protagonist of the game. Yet if they are a criminal in any way, they are also the antagonist. GTA and RDR2 come to mind for me. But what is the allure, for most? Why would you want to be both ends of the spectrum, and how do you write a game that balances out both? For me, I like being on both ends. it feels somewhat natural. I rob banks, kill people who get in my way, and take care of a family that needs me. That's a hell of a tradeoff. But it's written well. Thoughts?

I hate the entire trilogy. I have it, but I won't play it. It simply pisses me off too much.

My girl has an original Joust arcade cabinet that I've been working on to restore it back into working order. But like you said, with the 1UP mini-cabinets, I think they're making a small comeback. I don't think there will ever be a resurgence of arcades, but cabinets that you can bring home, are getting the market up somewhat.

Doing better. I wouldn't say doing good yet, but just better.
