  1. I saw that on a YouTube video. But it does make sense.
  2. Super Mario Run and Mario Kart Tour are available on the app store. I also saw some Sonic games on there as well. Others are Need For Speed and Dr. Mario World.
  3. I assume you're talking about current gen games. I would have to give my vote to Tell Me Why and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Both hit home for me very personally, so they stand out more than any other game.
  4. At the moment, I’m not interested in mods, partially because I know nothing about them, and partially because I want to play the game honestly without modding it.
  5. I don't want to hear any PCMR or fanboy bullshit. I'm asking people an honest question, and I don't want answers from anyone who refuses to touch more than one platform. The title says it all. I have Skyrim for both PS3 and Switch. The PS3 was so damn buggy it turned me off from the game for a very long time. So PS3 is OUT. I just got back into playing it again yesterday. I'm a n00b so I haven't gotten far, and don't remember names of towns or anything yet. I'm in the town at the beginning that you have to talk to the Jarl. The place that was under lockdown because of the dragon(s). I also don't know my way around the world of Skyrim, so there's that too. But to those that have played it on more than one platform, which do you think is the best? The ones I have available to me are Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. I'm enjoying the hell out of it on my Switch. It's a great game. But I just wonder if I decide I want to play it on a bigger screen or something, what would be my best option? Oh and, FUCK THOSE GOD DAMN WOLVES😡😡😡😡
  6. I was going to nominate @Reality vs Adventure myself, but since @Shagger beat me to it, my nomination is going to @Crazycrab. He is making a lot of good contributions to the forum, and I have enjoyed reading his posts a lot lately.
  7. I would buy it from someone who won it. If it's unique or limited edition anyway. It would be quite the collectible.
  8. I usually go with something I know virtually everything about. Something I have played for decades, like FF8 or Zelda (N64 and back). Those kind of games help me relax a lot.
  9. I have it and just played it last week. It's not the easiest game if you don't have ROB or a second player. But it's still fun as hell.
  10. I would say FF8. IT has an amazing opening.
  11. The right wing wants to force their opinion on everyone and try to force them to repeat it as if they're a god damn parrot. They may not be fanboys but their nazi tactics are fucking everything up, especially since they're trying to revoke other people's freedoms in so many areas of life.
  12. You have to have family and friends before you can hear this kind of idiocy. But I have heard this argument before. And @Shagger is exactly right. That's why we have ratings on games now. You wouldn't give a 5 year old a copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day just because it has a cute squirrel on the cover, so it has to be for kids. Well when the kid is bouncing off a sunflowers tits, maybe you will think twice before calling a game system a child's toy. Even Atari was doing it with Custer's Revenge in 1982. Look at the fucking ratings people. There are games directed at the 5 year old demographic, and games directed at the adult demographic. Not all of them are pornographic. Some are gory, some are cutesy. Some are nightmare inducing, some are calming and soothing. You have to look into what the plot and story is. If I had kids, I wouldn't let my ten year old play Call Of Duty, but I would have no problem with them playing Castlevania. Just because they need to understand the difference between fiction and nonfiction. CoD is too realistic for what I would want my child exposed to at that age. Castlevania, is obviously a fictitious story. So as long as my child was able to enjoy the game, and it had no mental/emotional effects on him/her/neither/both then I would be fine with that. What parents need to understand is that there are ratings for a reason, and you have to make a responsible decision. When you do that, then it can be called a toy for the younger demographic, but it's not for the older.
  13. My personal morals, or the morals people would expect? Because that would make a monumental difference. For instance, I hate having to be the protagonist in every game, no matter how much I like the game. I want the option of being the antagonist. Which is the reason I love Hatred so much. If I knew of a game where I had the option of going either way, then I would definitely be checking that out. But most likely due to me being a classic gamer, none come to mind. RDR2 has a bit of that in a way, but there is still the story to follow. About a week ago, I started a file with 2 objectives. Kill every person I see, and also make as much cheddar as possible. And I've found a glitch that is letting me build up that kind of bank fairly quick. Well, quicker than just looting bodies anyway.
  14. You have to be ready for the responsibility to take in a pet. Not so much as a human child, but you still can’t neglect them. I personally have 13 pets. They are 6 rats, 4 dogs, 2 bearded dragons, and one conure. One of the dogs is a pitbull and she isn’t shy about demanding attention from me. She’s also possessive over me. The bird doesn’t like anyone except for me. The rats love playing with me. The dragons think I’m a jungle gym. They always end up on top of my head. The bird thinks I’m a jungle gym too. It can be expensive having so many pets, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I hate people, but I absolutely love animals.
  15. This song hits home hard for me, having had an abusive drunk for a "father". The only difference is that the man in the video wants help. My drunk only wanted help finding his next drink.
  16. First. Atari 2600, NES, Colecovision. I remember those games so much. And I play them like crazy today, on the original systems. No flashback bullshit. The real thing. It's bliss.
  17. I've more or less hated Xbox since it's first system. I've always been a Nintendo girl. But you know what? I have a PS1,2,3,4. I have an Xbox One. I have NES, SNES, N64, Switch, GBASP, and a few other Nintendos. I have Atari 2600. I have Sega Genesis. Out of all of those, I prefer my Nintendo systems. Does that mean that I'm going to argue that Nintendo is the supreme system and anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron? No. Everyone has their taste. I grew up on the old stuff. I'm still wanting to find a working Colecovision. There are people here that grew up on the PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360. No one is going to think identical to anyone else. Twins don't even think identically. So you have your preference. I have mine. Neither is a superior opinion, because it's just that. An opinion. Take your head out of your ass, and grow the fuck up.
  18. I'm just going by my own experiences. My time was traumatizing. It's why I say to not enlist, and if you are going to regardless of my opinion, to not ever consider the marines. They intentionally break not only your spirit, but your body and mind also. You will be fucked up for life after coming out. I know I am. There's not much more to say than that.
  19. It doesn't say "Resident Sociopath" under my name for laughs. I am a clinically diagnosed sociopath. So in this instance I could watch them kill and die for my own amusement while ruling them. Or I could interact and kill them myself, all the while not caring about the outcome. Why should I care how much they cry over their mother dying. It's not like she's going anywhere except a hole in the ground. Seemingly senseless murder is actually entertaining. It's not like life actually matters. We are vastly closer and closer to our own extinction every day. So what does it matter? A century from now man will be extinct. We have ensured that. So if you want to rule, start a cult. If you don't want to rule, but be ruled, become a scientologist. If you don't want either, then fuck them both, and who gives an honest shit?
  20. Unfortunately, I have to agree. While it would be interesting to see them make a comeback, they just can't touch the originals. While that's true for almost every franchise, some games are best left to only one to two entries. So like I said, it would be interesting, but I also see it being a massive failure with these two.
  21. No matter how realistic a war game is, it will not capture what war is actually like. When you're on the front lines in the game, you're not shitting yourself like a hell of a lot of soldiers are IRL. My time in the USMC was the worst time of my life. I wish I could go back in time and tell my 17 year old self to NOT ENLIST. I regret it so much that I still have flashbacks and waking nightmares. To anyone considering enlistment in the US military, DON'T DO IT! If you're hell bent on enlisting then for your own mental and physical well being DO NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO CONSIDERING THE MARINES. The corps are pussies anyway. They let the Army go in to fight and die, then they take all the credit.
  22. Historical? It wasn't WW2. It was an election. It was a game that you could vote in, choose what current issues to give attention to, and which ones to ignore. The closest to anything historical that happened in the 80's was the Satanic panic, and the president/vice president committing high treason in the Iran/Contra issue.
  23. If you really want to see politics in video games, there was a game on Colecovision called Campaign '84 that was literally a political game based on the 1984 presidential election. That's literally all it was, and apparently it sold really well. You could choose between the Democratic party or the republiKlan party. It was interesting to say the least, and pointless to say the most.
  24. Konami wasn't involved in this game. To me it looked like Castlevania meets God Of War. It's already out on Switch for $21.99 USD. (£17.01, €18.61)
