  1. I have asthma as well, and due to MD I already have a compromised and weakened immune system. So I have been advised to stay home unless I have no choice but to get out, and to have as little human contact as possible for the foreseeable future. That doesn’t really change anything for me as that’s how I have always preferred things and chosen to live. But still, it’s a pain in the ass.
  2. There was an episode of Law & Order SVU where a girl did the same thing to her father. Not because of video games, but because he was a shitty father and she had finally reached her breaking point due to all his broken promises.
  3. I play both all the time. I have actually gotten all 120 stars on Mario before. Banjo Kazooie is an odd game, but still fun. My problem is that I always forget all the abilities that I learn from the mole.
  4. Pavel Datsyuk retiring. When we lost him we took a major blow. Then Lidstrom retired, and we lost Zetterburg to injury. That’s why we’re having such a horrible season this year.
  5. I don’t have a set list either. It depends on both the game and my mood. Which varies wildly.
  6. I lost so many years between when I was gaming as a kid and then got back into it as an adult, that I really don’t know. I wish I could pick s point, but I lost somewhere around 10 years I think. Possibly more. I do know for a fact that I missed the entire PS2 era.
  7. I’ve been playing the hell out of Goblin Sword on my Switch lately. It was like a $2 download and worth $2000. I absolutely LOVE the game. I’m also playing some others I’ve pucked up. A few here from VGR, and others that I bought through the Nintendo eShop and from GameStop.
  8. Wind Waker. Too much Cartoon Network. Not enough video game.
  9. Zelda always bugged the hell out of me with this. For example in the original it’s an untamed wilderness with no order of any kind. Then in Zelda 2, there are towns all over the map, and you no longer have items you can use, but spells instead. And all dungeons look identical. Then on SNES, the towns have disappeared and the only one in Hyrule is Kakariko, which never existed previously. On N64 they mix it up even more with the introduction of new races, and a complete 180 on others (Zoras no longer attack). After 7 main consoles Zelda has gotten wildly different in every single game. I would like just once to see a true sequel. And I’m not including portable systems in this like GameBoy or DS, with the exception of the Switch. This seriously drives me nuts. It’s like approaching a game you have never heard of each time. 😡😡😡😡
  10. What game do you hate the most? Why?
  11. I only have one question that makes a difference to me about the PS5. Is it backwards compatible, and if so, how far back? I’m beyond confused at this point about what the hell is going on with the damn thing.
  12. Saw series Dead Silence Halloween (Rob Zombie versions) The Devils Rejects The Curse Of La Llorona Descent Misery The Bye Bye Man The Midnight Man Truth Or Dare Rose Red Storm Of The Century Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
  13. Soul Calibur 2 on practice mode. No time limit, no health bar, no worrying about advancing to beat the game. Just simple fighting for as long as you want.
  14. @DylanC you will be happy to know, that I am now the proud owner of a copy of Blasphemous. And you were right. IT'S FREAKING AWESOME!!!!
  15. I have a weather app, notepad, schedule reminders, link up to my doctors, and a banking app. I also have things I call toys and games.
  16. I'm not all that interested. But that may be due to me being a classic gamer. VR would also probably be extremely difficult for me, because it's my understanding that you have to be mobile to play it. And being stuck in a wheelchair and having limited mobility, doesn't exactly give me many options to play it and enjoy the experience.
  17. I'm not familiar with Max Payne. What's it about?
  18. I've never been a big Star Wars fan. The only time I can remember actually playing one that I enjoyed was on Atari. I wasn't the biggest fan of the movies either. But then again, I didn't see them until I was in my late 20's. Also, the whole sci-fi genre just really doesn't hold much interest for me.
  19. That's the downfall of racing games. With a handful of exceptions, after a while, they all end up looking the same.
  20. They're only 20 years too late. Couldn't Nintendo have mad a Blair Witch game on an earlier system when the movie was still at least somewhat relevant?
  21. Some of them don't look half bad, but I have more than enough games as it is, with a huge backlog of unplayed games, and games I just haven't played in a very long time.
  22. I don't know if this counts but I briefly played WoW. Also another that I do play now is Hatred. There are no physical copies, due to the graphic nature of the game. It's only available as a digital download.
  23. When I was a kid I always listened to NKOTB when I played NES, but especially when I played Blaster Master. Even today, it brings back the only fond memories of my childhood that I have.
  24. I highly doubt I could game that long, even if I switched up the games. I tend to shut down the system when I've gamed so long that particular day that it becomes boring. That's how my body and mind tell me it's time to at least take a break for a few hours minimum.
