  1. I don't know if this counts as an accessory or not, but I have a Game Genie for NES, SNES, Sega, and a Game Shark for N64. I buy them because after a while the games get too easy. So I put in codes to amp up the difficulty so I have a little bit of a challenge at games that I've mastered.
  2. Going through the training bullshit at the beginning of the game is what turned me off from it.
  3. Everything that little bastard touches, whether it was a good idea or not, is instantly turned to shit.
  4. Also when you can't afford a decent computer, you're screwed before you get started.
  5. You're right for the most part. The main difference is that after the manipulation in game, we would probably kill the person just for fun. IRL, however, we typically wouldn't unless we knew we could get away with it, or the person pissed us off. We're reactive whereas psychopaths are preactive. Meaning they plan out their actions. They preplan, we react to the moment. Which typically makes a sociopath more dangerous because we are so unpredictable. BTW, "preactive" isn't a real word, it was just the best thing I could think of for a description.
  6. Shigeru Miyamoto. For those who don't know, he was one of the original creators of The Legend Of Zelda. Of all the series I'm a fan of, I've been a Zelda nut the longest. Kinda hard to picture me really having all that much interest in gaming without it.
  7. You forgot the third option. There are those of us who honestly don't care enough about people that hurting them and helping them all amounts to the same thing to us. If I kill someone in a car wreck, oh well. If I save someone's life in a car wreck, oh well. Human life means absolutely nothing to us. Sociopaths. If it is interesting to me at the time, then fuck anyone who has a problem with it. Fuck anyone who likes it. Typically those people will never be anything other than differently colored pixels anyway, so why the hell should I take notice? With me personally, in gaming, I'm not your friend. If you happen to be going the same direction I'm going then whatever. But don't expect any kind of help or even reaction if you end up in a bad situation. I'm also the same IRL. Yes sociopaths can form an emotional bond, in extremely rare situations. But that doesn't mean we give a shit about anyone else.
  8. Assassins Creed definitely. It's the reason I have initially hated it. But I have picked up the first 3 so when I feel up to it, I'm going to start trying it again. Also trying to learn those special moves in Twilight Princess was always a major pain in the ass, and is what made me rate it as one of the worst Zelda games, in my personal opinion.
  9. Do you want the names alphabetically?
  10. I don't touch multiplayer either. I always look at the player requirements when I find a game I'm interested in. If it says single or multi, I'll look further. If it says online multiplayer, I put it back and look at other titles. If multiplayer is your thing, hey knock yourself out. But if you're a single player gamer, then let us stay alive. Just because we want to play by ourselves, instead of on a team with you and 30 people we don't fucking know, doesn't mean we aren't friends. I hate FF7, but if I had to choose between playing it forever or joining an FC in FF14, then I'll go with FF7. I just have a huge worry that there will be a day where a Zelda game will come out that will be an online multiplayer game. Link is actually dead this time, and the Zelda is calling on all of Hyrule to perform some jackass menial quest to resurrect him, just in time for the next game in the series. I hope no one from Nintendo sees this post. God forbid I give them ideas, unless that idea is a spiked foot in the ass with a note taped to it saying MORE SINGLE PLAYER GAMES, LESS MULTIPLAYER GAMES. I know, I'm a bitch.
  11. Ok, I'm curious about that, but I also know it's none of my business.
  12. Think quick: There's a gorilla to your left A lion to your right A cobra behind you And a giant black horse (we'll say 35 hands) with glowing red eyes in front of you. You have only one chance to escape this. Which path do you choose? Why? And yes there is a correct answer! It's a riddle I found a while back.
  13. Just because it's cold in the room doesn't mean it's not overheating. You may have a faulty disc. Just because it's new doesn't mean it works. If you recall I had a similar problem with several copies of the same edition of a FF8 press. I would suggest hitting up a used game shop if you have one nearby and picking up another copy and see if that fixes the problem. If you play it a lot, it could just be something as simple as the disc itself getting worn out. I've had that happen with a lot of games, both cartridge and disc.
  14. What is the most horrific thing you have ever personally witnessed in real life?
  15. If you were given immunity ahead of time, is there anyone you know, in your own life, that you would kill?
  16. What would you prefer: a blue iguana or an albino python? And for those wondering, yes the blue iguana is real.
  17. With a PS3, it's most likely either the CPU overheating, the processor feeling over run, or you have too much saved on there already. How big is your hard drive? Is it one of the first series that can also play PS2 games? There were a hell of a lot of bugs with those, and they locked up constantly. That's why Sony rereleased the system minus the PS2 capabilities, even though it still says PS2 internally. I would honestly recommend deleting some games if you haven't touched them for a while. Also are you running off the disc or are you running a download? That can also affect it. The PS3 is a pretty moody system. It's pretty much just an upgraded PS2, but a lot more bitchy.
  18. I won't even watch Return Of The Jedi unless it's an old VHS copy. The reason behind that is because on the DVD's after episodes 1-3 were out, they removed Darth Vader at the end as part of the force, and put Hayden Christianson in it instead. With that one small edit, they completely destroyed the entire movie.
  19. With this song, do not watch it after dropping acid. If you do you will be apologizing to every thread in your sock for World War 1.
  20. To be honest, SMB 1. Remember I’m coming from the Atari age. The graphics and system power were pretty primitive. But when NES came out, the graphics and capabilities of the system were insane. It was so advanced.
  21. I would have said a Zelda sequel, but I don’t have to worry about that. There will never be a shortage of those. So I’m thinking a true sequel to FF8. As for what direction to go I would need a little more time to think on that one.
  22. It’s actually kinda difficult for me to get away from my favorites. So I’m pretty much replaying them all the time.
  23. Yeah, but we all knew they were going to try to cash in on the digital gaming craze. Who’s next? Disney? Playboy? Somalia?
  24. How about all of the above? I hate online gaming, especially if it’s multiplayer. I won’t submit to the whims of others if I want to do something else. Also I’m not willing to waste my time relying on someone else so I can succeed. If it all goes digitally online, then you’ll never see my broke ass again. Maybe an antique store will have a few physical games that are of interest, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
