  1. My all time favorite actor is and always will be Johnny Depp. To me he is the greatest actor that has ever lived. My all time favorite director is also one of his best friends. Tim Burton. He's a god behind the camera. Johnny's daughter is also a hell of an actress too.
  2. The title says it all. What do you listen to? With one or two exceptions I listen to underground music exclusively. Bands that I listen to are 6 Feet Under, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Bogir, Cradle Of Filth, Marduk, Deicide, and early Cannibal Corpse to name a few. Just the Chris Barnes years with CC though. I listen to a lot from Psychopathic Recorde and Majic Ninja Entertainment. But I’m dropping my support of Psychopathic due to the bullshit they’ve been pulling since Twiztid left. I always liked Twiztid’s music better anyway.
  3. It all depends on the reason for the immigration. If you're coming from an extremely poor, shithole country then welcome to America. If you're seeking asylum to save your life because you're a certain religion, LGBTQ, severely against the regime of your home country, in a war torn region, or anything else that threatens the life of you and those you love, then welcome to America. If you just want to jump the border for no reason, then get the hell out. But if you want my opinion, immigrants are the best thing for this country. Those of us that have lived here all our lives take a lot of things for granted. Whereas the immigrants that come here don't. The take those things with so much respect that it actually opens our eyes a bit. I know someone who is an immigrant, and he loves the freedoms and programs that the rest of us either complain about all the time, or just flat out don't notice. Just because we were born into it. Immigrants can only improve this country, unless they're a drug cartel or some terrorist group. We have our own terrorist groups here. We don't need yours.
  4. Darkstone on PS1 is sweet as hell. Also, one that I have never heard a lot of people talk about is Illusion Of Gaia on SNES. I really got into playing it the other day, and love it.
  5. If we could get a president that had half a brain cell and wasn't a total xenophobe, then 99% of the bullshit tariffs wouldn't even be in place. The greedy bastard only wants to increase his bank account, and fuck the rest of us. At least the cocksucker will be out of office next year.
  6. As far as I’m concerned, Battletoads is just about the most difficult game to date. But that’s coming from a classic gamer. Either way though, I’m gonna look forward to the release date for this.
  7. I'm nominating @StaceyPowers @killamch89 @Aerielle del Rosario @skyfire @DylanC @kingpotato
  8. That's one thing I've never been able to figure out. The fantasy football/basketball/baseball etc teams. I don't get how it works, or how you even get into doing it. Also I haven't found any actual perks for doing it.
  9. I go to Crypticon every year, so that takes my convention money. But it's more than worth it. This year is going to be one of the best. Tobin Bell aka Jigsaw himself is going to be there. 2 years ago was probably the best ever though. For me at least. I got to meet Jason Baldwin. One of the most amazing men on this planet.
  10. If you keep the fan itself clean, then maybe. But the fan will be picking up dust particles that are floating around in the air, and on items nearby the it will be blowing at your console.
  11. One thing I miss about older games, is that back in the NES and SNES era, we all played for fun. Now with the super high def systems, all the in game purchases, the multi co-op games, the online gaming, it's more of a competition to see who can outdo who, instead of who you have fun with. It's really sad to me.
  12. If I had to pick one it would be Banjo Kazooie. I know it’s a children’s game, but I love it. It’s goofy as hell, but so much fun.
  13. I’ve recently gotten into playing hacks of games a lot. So far my favorite is The Legend Of Zelda: Goddess Of Wisdom. I haven’t started Zelda: Parallel Worlds yet. I’m still looking for a copy of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets that’s actually for SNES and not Super Famicom. I’m looking at a couple Mario games on eBay. Mario In Xebes is looking really interesting. Mario Adventures looks fun, but is a major bitch and a half. And with my nonexistent fuse I would blow up almost instantaneously. The only thing that is a definite plus is that in the code it’s scripted for you to have infinite lives due to the difficulty. So who else is into hacks? What are some of your favorites? If anyone knows of a good Castlevania hack I’m definitely interested.
  14. Classic gamers won’t drop the old systems. The nostalgia of putting a cartridge into an actual Nintendo is half of the enjoyment for us. That’s why emulators usually don’t do a damn thing for any of us.
  15. Can the reverse fit into this conversation? I was a pro-am snowboarder when I was younger. I’ve always hated sports games but I love snowboarding games. I played basketball all the time as a kid, but that doesn’t mean I want anything to do with NBA 2K19.
  16. Contra has to be mentioned. The 2 player co-op mode is amazing. One that I personally hate, but was massively successful is Donkey Kong Country. The co-op mode on that one is a great example of an excellently designed co-op.
  17. Until a new God Of War comes out, or a sequel to Dante’s Inferno, I actually have no interest in either.
  18. Canned peaches, chips, tomatoes, carrots, and skub. Drink is either Fiji water or Diet Pepsi/Diet Faygo.
  19. @DC I would take some friends who have become family to a car lot to get them a reliable car since theirs is about to completely crap out on them.
  20. For me, the biggest 2 that I can think of are Zelda: Majoras Mask and [I[Zelda: Links Awakening[/I]. They both begin incredibly boring with no real direction laid out, and are just slow as hell. But once you spend an hour or 2 playing around and get a feel for the game and make a little bit of progress, they become really fun and actually quite addictive. The first disc of FF8 is slow as hell, but I can't say it turns me off from the game the way the other 2 do.
  21. If you could choose one game to have never been invented, what would it be and why?
  22. Would I be correct in assuming this riddle is too difficult?
  23. The only thing I can think of that hasn’t already been suggested is to get an AC unit. Window units are the cheaper model but if for whatever reason that’s not an option you can get AC units that you can just plug in and stick wherever you want. I personally haven’t seen any that weren’t in the $400-$500 range. Another idea is to take 4 box fans and put them either on each wall or in each corner blowing into each other all in the same direction. It keeps the air circulating and cools a room off more than most people will realize. If you have a ceiling fan in there as well, that will only help.
  24. I play this song several times a day, and never get sick of it.
