Alien 3 on SNES was a good one. I had never seen any of the movies, and to this day the only one I have seen is Aliens (Alien 2) so I have no real idea what is going on other than trying to kill the aliens and escape alive.

I learned something today. I had thought all this time that the Nintendo/Sony partnership was an add on to the N64, not the SNES. I always thought the 64DD was the Nintendo/Sony console. But then again, I never looked into it all that deeply so I guess it's to be expected that I didn't know much about it.

Their handhelds have come with features and abilities that others simply couldn't match. Sure the PSP could watch movies. I don't know much about PS Vita, so I'm ignoring that one for now. But some of the games that Nintendo offers have been classics and fan favorites for 30+ years. And the ability to take them with you when you're on the go, has always been a huge draw. Now with the Switch, not only do you have thousands of games at your fingertips in the eShop, but you can also download things like Hulu and YouTube. The last true home console that they put out was the Wii in 2006. While it sold like wildfire, once people got a full taste of it, the interest waned considerably. The Wii U afterwards, was a failure at a hybrid system. But through failure, we learn. They looked at what they had done wrong, and worked to fix it so that when the Switch was released it was a huge success.

Broken bones and concussions were standard. Dehydration and malnutrition were also standard. Hypothermia was as well. I don't know which of them would have been the worst ones. There are others, like my uncle trying to kill me, but that isn't really a physical injury, but more of an emotional one.

I use both Discord and Slack, and in my experience, Slack is better. I find it more user friendly and better all around as a communication system of that nature. Until just now, I had never heard of Connecteam. So I can't comment on that one.

Fast travel comes in REALLY handy in RDR2 once you acquire it. You can go to so many places in the blink of an eye, no matter how far you are away from them. I love it. When I go after the white Arabian, I always get fast travel first. That way I can get her, and don't have to spend all damn day riding to get to where she is.

I use a Game Genie. I power up my enemies, and make myself weaker. They take more hits to kill, and I take less hits to be killed. Depending on the codes available for the game, I'll tweak it in other ways. When you get too good at your favorite games, you have to find ways to make it interesting again. I also skip upgrades when they aren't required.

Batman and Friday the 13th on NES were both good games. At least in my opinion they were. Some may say that they were horrid games (just ask the nerd) but I personally enjoy them.

I quit playing DKC a long time ago. The game just pisses me off way too much and I lose my shit and act like a spoiled little girl. I have all 3 that are on SNES, but I've never played the third one. I only have them to complete the trilogy. I have beaten the first 2, but I'll never play them again. I have DKC 64, but I've never really given it much thought. Actually I think it's one of @Rain Dew's games. I'm not sure. I would have to ask her. TL/DR - I'll never play another DKC game again.

The only F2P game that I can think of that I have spent money on is sudoku. I have it on my phone and it's free to play it, but it has a lot of ads. However for $15 per year you can get rid of the ads. Since I play it constantly, it was a no-brainer for me to pay it.

It's a ROM-hack, so you're going to have a hard time finding it unless you can find it on eBay. But don't say I didn't warn you. It's honestly cruel in it's difficulty. And if you want my opinion, I think the ones that made it actually intended for it to not be beaten. And it's not even listed as the most difficult one. That wards goes to Parallel Worlds.

Sad as it is, I can totally see him doing that. A few die hard Twitter addicts will pay it, but the rest will give him a big 🖕 and go somewhere else as they watch him drive one of the biggest social media sites in internet history straight into the ground. I'm not even going to dignify that with a response. Quite well. I have come up with a few tunes, and sometimes I just start playing and let it go wherever it goes. But don't let it fool you. That's 2 pipes you're blowing into at the same time, and using your fingers in unison on each of them. It's very difficult to learn. Sure you can blow into it, but where most people have trouble learning is that they keep blowing into only one side instead of both at the same time. Like any other instrument, it takes years to learn, and more years to master. I've been playing it for about 10 years. Also you have to keep up with cleaning, as the saliva in your breath can deteriorate the inside of it if you don't clean it. Not to mention other common environmental hazards like dirt/dust and things like that. Too much moisture in the air can cause it to rust if you get a cheaply made one. A quality aulos wildly ranges in price depending on where you get it and who you get it from, so I couldn't even give you a ballpark. I've had mine so long that I don't even remember what I paid for it. The main downside is that it's a rare instrument these days, so you're most likely NOT going to be able to find a teacher. You're going to have to go in blind and hope for the best.

The video is from November of last year, but this still pisses me off to no end. I want this fucker gone. Forever. If he cares about the world even in the slightest, he will never have kids.

I'm not looking to get rich, although it would be nice. I just want to be financially secure. Not having to scrape by, living check to check.

Exactly my point. They’ve never had to struggle, or count pennies. They’re not real people. They’re dollar bills. None of us here will ever have a private jet in our own hangar. None of us can afford plastic surgery just for the hell of it. I can’t afford to get my tits done. If I could, I definitely would. But disability doesn’t pay shit, and after bills I have about $100 left for the rest of the month. And when Paris Hilton said that “poor people need to stop being poor” a lot of us wanted to cut her fucking throat. It’s. Not. That. Fucking. Simple.

Damn, you're getting games and titles that I have never even heard of. But some that just by the cover art I really want to check out, assuming I can find them somewhere other than eBay. And don't worry about the pics. I assume you're using your phone? Phones aren't exactly known for always taking professional quality pics. Hell 98% of the pics I've posted look like shit that not even the best code breakers in history could figure out. So it's all good.

Also this is more of a general discussion than a game, so I'm going to move it to the General Chat section.

This started when I was 14. It happens on June 20th every single year. And it's the one and only time I dream every year. The other 364 days of the year I don't dream at all. The dream starts out with me looking down a street that turns to my right. Judging by the clothing and building design, it looks like everything is somewhere around the 1700's. After a few seconds, I see a young boy come running around the corner. Through the rest of the dream I'm looking through his eyes. I look over my shoulder and 3 men on horseback in red coats come riding up after me. I start running harder and duck into a cemetery and hide behind one of the tombstones. I'm sitting there catching my breath and listening to them call back and forth to each other trying to find me. Then one rides up and sees me. He yells to his friends that he found me. He dismounts his horse, steps in front of me, draws his pistol, cocks it... And then I wake up. I've tried staying up to avoid the dream, but at 2:30AM I go unconscious and fall asleep for exactly 1 hour. I can't avoid the dream no matter how much I try. I hate it. It always freaks me out. I've tried a million different things to make me stop having the dream but nothing works.

Discord isn't bad, but a better alternative (in my opinion anyway) is to go with Slack. It's more user friendly, and a lot more customizable.
