You're right about that - the game wasn't in a playable state then and when they announced it, CDPR rushed to finish it without addressing most of the bugs etc. and that is pretty much how we ended up with the hot mess that was Cyberpunk 2077.

Not only the gaming issues either, you also had the microtransaction policies which also messed up Destiny pretty badly. First, it was under Activision but even when they left Activision, Bungie made some very questionable decisions which caused controversy in the Destiny community.

Battlefield 1 has aged pretty badly to me and that's due to lack of updates and that is poor considering the game was released within the last 5 years.

The Ratchet & Clank series always has the most off-the-wall humor I've seen in a videogame and I can't stop laughing at some of the scenes even watching them years later.

Same here - most of my friends live in other parts of the country/ other countries so the only way we get to game together is online.

I'd say any Dark Souls game and I'd add Elden Ring since it was made by the same company, You have to be on your guard all the time and you can't underestimate anyone/anything as that seemingly harmless thing turns out to be what kills you. On top of that, in Dark Souls games, you can't really pause either so it is quite stressing....

XPS laptops are always good for productivity but they typically using things like budget dedicated gaming videocards so gaming on it isn't going to be that great.

That's actually not a lot - to be fair, I've done that a few times in a couple of MMORPGs, What I'm not going to do is spend thousands of dollars on a mobile game. It simply makes no sense.

That isn't really hard to do to be honest. I mean, Bethesda has been using the same game engine for close to a decade and it has been used as the basis for a few games made by people who started out as Skyrim modders.

This is a Russian fight promotion thing and it is somewhat real because you do have fights where people get badly injured but then you also have these kind of fights where you're left wondering what the hell am I watching. Honestly, this whole fight wouldn't look out of place in Jackass movie.

Here are a few things: difference in opinions - 20 years ago you could have a rational conversation with differing opinions and everyone would agree to disagree. Nowadays, you can get cancelled and doxxed for having an opinion that differs from the majority. The Attention seeking - before the rise of social media, people would act like civilized individuals but nowadays, most people are acting like nutcases just to go viral on social media. shittalking - 20 years ago you could say some of the most vile things to other people and most people just shrugged it off and went about their day. Nowadays, there are so many snowflakes who get offended at the least little things said to them.

Macbooks also tend to keep their value a lot longer than most Windows laptops as well.
