I've always been bad at fighting games but that doesnt stop me from playing some every now and then. One thing I notice is that today's Fighting games are taking advantage of the DLC formats, for every 60 dollar release there will be a big list of characters ready to be added to the rooster for a high price. Basically if you want more characters you need to pay more, you could spent as twice as much as you paid for the game and still not get all the characters for the game. I miss the old days when we used to spent hours trying to figure out how to unlock new characters.

The latest and final season's Episode 3 aired recently and totally blew me away! The Battle Of Winterfell was breathtaking! Anyone else watching GoT?

I usually complete as many quests as I can in any game I play, but some quests never get finished. Usually I skip quests because of the following reasons:
There is a location I find extremely tedious or frustrating (i.e. an irradiated vault in Fallout, or an extremely maze-like and/or repetitious dungeon in Skyrim). Moral issues (i.e. to progress in the quest would mean doing something my character is opposed to). Concern about companions (i.e. continuing the quest might harm my follower in terms of their storyline). What causes you to leave a quest incomplete?

Hi guys! Check out episode 4 of the VGR Weekly Recap, where Jacob and I discuss the latest console news, the future of Apex Legends, the possibilities of Titanfall 3, and Bethesda's response to pay-to-win criticisms! This is also the first episode to feature video, though as you'll see, we had some issues with sizing and resolution. The problem was being caused by an old monitor which will have been replaced by the time it comes to recording episode 5, so next week should look much, much better! I like James Taylor's "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight".  Also, I like Glenn Miller, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and Snoopy stuff, lol.   Anyhow, I cannot name a song I like the most, though.
O.K. here is more that stands out to me:  String of Pearls by Glenn Miller, Snoopy Theme Song, the skating song on one of the Snoopy movies.

That sounds like a good survival game idea. I have seen people playing those type of the games where there are lot of puzzles worth playing. But horror and puzzle would turn out to be a good survival game. I like the idea.

Sometimes I see people complain about what they perceive of as a game being “more of a movie than a game.”
I suppose I can see the complaint if a movie-you-play-a-part-of simply isn’t what one is looking for in a game, but often disdain is expressed at the entire concept.
I rather like the “game as a movie.” To me it is just another way to tell a story, and it can potentially create a stronger empathetic link than a passively-viewed film.

A lot of people say that they miss games from their childhood. Aside from the nostalgia factor, what aspects of older games do you miss the most?

Who do you like better? I have to say John. Granted, Fuzz is no slouch of a bass player, but John puts so much more into the music. He plays harder, and gives more to the music than any bass player I personally have ever seen. He also seems to be a better fit for the band as a whole. There was always something off about Fuzz to me, but John is truly worthy of the spot as the bass player of my absolute favorite band ever.
IMO, Disturbed is the greatest band ever to record a single song let alone 8 albums.

Not sure if meant for making money or so. My game would be survival one like the serious sam and some of the zombie games that I can think of. There are some good games that I can use as an engine.

Good lad! The Thing is an exceptional piece of sci-fi horror filmmaking. Kurt Russell is also cool AF in it. I recommend checking out The Void as it’s quite The Thing-esque and the modern The Thing sequel/prequel movie is pretty decent, too.

I just watched the thing and it was freaking awesome! 😄

Same thing in my city, I was able to tickets for Sunday morning with good seats. But I had to block facebook from my phone, there has been a lot of spoilers everywhere for the past week. Even today at my work office they where streaming the goddamn movie in the cafeteria.
