  1. I don't watch that many people play other games now, to be honest. It used to be something I did quite a bit especially for the games I played quite a bit but it eventually got a bit too boring. So for me, I would definitely prefer to play the game instead of just watching someone else do it.
  2. If you ignore the awful start that it had, the developers for No Mans Sky did a pretty good job at supporting the game after launch. They brought it back and the game is doing very well now. After that, I think Rockstar has done a good job at supporting GTA 5, well the online mode anyway.
  3. Eventually, the situation will ease up. I do wonder if this will sort of push the release of the next generation of consoles further back considering the majority of the playerbase won't have a PS5 or even a Series X for a year or two. Kudos to anyone holding out and not buying from a scalper. 100% agree with that
  4. It will depend a lot on the game and whether I've played a game from the same series before. Like for FIFA, they always have a "starter" game where they show you the controls as well. I completely skip that. But with other games, I'll tend to follow the tutorial just to make sure I don't miss out on anything.

Played the Halo Infinite Campaign for the first time today and it was quite fun. Looks great and the story seems good so far. Only issue is that it does make me feel slightly sick, just like the Far Cry 5 campaign did. Apparently that's due to the field of view so I'll probably have to change that up a bit.

    Halo Infinite

Haven't had a chance to try the campaign as yet but the multiplayer has kept me entertained for the past few weeks. Still learning everything about Halo since this is my first one but I am enjoying it a lot. The only annoying thing is that it doesn't fully support the Series X Quick Resume feature (for multiplayer)
  7. One thing I don't understand is, what exactly is the point of a NFT in a video game? Especially in the case of Ubisoft games which tend to die down in popularity pretty quickly (most of them anyway). Would you be able to move the game assets between different Ubisoft games so that you can show it off to other people?
  8. Agree with you on that. The one game that I wouldn't mind going down the live service route is FIFA. It would be so much better to just have one big purchase (the base game) and then have yearly updates. Just so much more convenient and easier to handle.

Played a bit of Forza Horizon 5 earlier today on the Series X. And when I say a bit, I literally meant about 2-3 minutes. Drove to an event, started it up, and the game crashed. Unfortunately, the developers are still looking to fix this bug so I won't be playing it much until they sort it out.
  10. It's good to hear that they have changed it up in the end. Not being able to refund a pre-order before the game had even been released would have been awful. I think it should be up to the launch of the game though and not just 7 days before the release date.
  11. This is not a good thing for gamers at all, in my opinion. Well, for most gamers anyway. NFTS getting added to games will only result in companies focusing more on them and less on the actual game. The last thing we need is more content behind a paywall.
  12. Not too often, to be honest. But when we do have some family gatherings, I tend to play some games with my younger cousins. FIFA is a favourite especially since I can usually beat them quite easily. I recently tried out Super Smash Bros on their Switch as well although I did struggle a bit since it was the first time I have ever tried it.
  13. It has to be FIFA for me, especially if you play the more competitive online modes within Ultimate Team like Division Rivals and FUT Champs. It's extremely easy to get annoyed with the other person you're playing with which then affects you mentally. So there is definitely a lot of mental fatigue. In terms of physical fatigue, I'm not really sure to be honest.
  14. Having had a look at it so far, I guess there is quite a bit of work left to do. The selection at the moment isn't that great but not too bad for the start of the service. It's great that it's included with the current subscriptions though. Might have to give Wonderputt Forever a go.
  15. Can't wait to get something like this. Game Pass is amazing especially since we can get first party games on the day of release. If PlayStation can bring out something like that, it would be amazing. Really hope the PS3 aspect is true as well. I really want to play GTA IV again but can't be bothered to buy it for the Series X.
  16. A lot of the big names. I can't see Grand Theft Auto ever ending especially if they go down the route of a live service game instead of releasing new games every decade or so. Sports games like FIFA, F1, and NBA will always survive for a long time. Again with those, I can see them going down the live service route.
  17. Forza and Halo for me. The PS5 is my main console so it would be great to play FH5 and Halo Infinite on that. But since we can't for obvious reasons, I just ended up getting a Series X to play them.
  18. Not for me. I play online most of the time so the patches and updates are needed to keep playing the games. And with the single player games that I play, usually the updates just fix bugs or bring in new features so there's no reason to avoid them.
  19. Definitely. I think the building aspect of it also had a bit of an impact. It made it quite unique at the start but as people got a lot better at that, the casuals got bored of it. No one wants to fight someone that is building a wooden skyscraper to get the high ground.
  20. I seriously doubt they do one unfortunately. However, if they did, I wouldn't be too worried about it. The trilogy remaster was a mess because they decided to hand it off to a company that can't seem to develop games properly. GTA IV would be done in-house and I will always have faith in the Rockstar devs to do a good job.
  21. Console to console is not an issue for me, to be honest. I can switch from a PS5 controller to the Series X one pretty easily without any issues. But yeah, PC gives me a bit more trouble considering how different it is.
  22. Makes sense I guess since that is the new system that you have become accustomed to. As a long time console gamer, I always struggle a bit to play Valorant on my laptop. It just feels a bit too weird to control movement with your keyboard whilst shooting using a mouse.
  23. There are quite a lot of Christmas movies that I love so I definitely won't be able to list them all. But my absolute favourite has to be the Home Alone series. Love the first and second movie with Kevin. We watch it every year as well and we never get bored of it.
  24. Unfortunately, there just doesn't seem to be enough of a reason for them to change their ways at the moment. Look at FIFA, we always complain about it yet buy it every year. Why would they change it? Hopefully the sales for BF2042 are awful and that can show them they need to improve the franchise asap.
  25. Sneaking definitely especially if the game doesn't give you a different method of progressing if you get caught. Those games that fail you if you get seen or make noise are just way too annoying and definitely not for me.
