From that then you looking at a CPU to do multitasking work and AMD seems to be the all-winner-for-that. Intel are good for gaming but they have less cores and threads to what AMD offers and for your needs more cores and threads is what you need more. But in terms of laptop, no idea what AMD has came up with.

I wouldn't say these companies are the same.  Their all terrible but they are all thier own unique flavours of shit.

EA are greedy and keep pushing their avarice business practices.  They also can't seem to stop embarrassing themselves with constantly and ludicrously defening their montization and that's why they always seem to be in some kind of PR controversy.

As hard to believe as it is Acti-Blizzard are possibility even greedier than EA.  Not only do they use loopholes to pay literally zero tax, but they got the balls to actully claim rebates on the tax their aren't paying!  Unlike EA they at least have the common sense to keep thier shit filled traps shut for the most part.

As for FucKonami...  Well I think this image still pretty much sums it up:

They simply just don't seem to give a shit about anything except pachinko machines and their own pettiness.  They could probably make more money if they took game publishing seriously again but apparently they don't want to.

I think I have an explanation.  There is some kind of read error and the system can't tell how much storage there is.  Therfore the software is defaulting and displaying the maximum amount of storage alowable for 64 bit.  Which is 2^64 bytes = 16777216 Tb.

There are various graphics and gameplay tweeks but the only significant change from original to SE in terms of engine was going from 32 bit to 64 bit and DX11.  This meant the game could use more RAM, use higher resolution textures, load more objects without crashing... things like that.

This is what they have been doing for years.  They have constantly added to it, made tweeks and changes but the actual engine, the base framework is the same one they have been using since the development of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowwind in the late 90's.

I've heard they are STILL using it for Starfeild and probably Elder Scrolls 6 as well.  Skyrim SE should have been that last gane to use this fossil, it's limitations were truly laid bare with Fallout 4 and 76.

This kind of reminds me of my complaints about DA Inquisition's million fetch quests. They really disrupt the flow of the game, but I know on my next playthrough I'll just ignore most of them and the game will be much more enjoyable.

It's ideas are great and a technical step up... in theory, but they just don't work all that well in actual gameplay.  I think a lot of that comes down to it's aging engine that is struggling more and more to keep up with current gaming technology.  So good ideas like a new speech system with fully voiced player character, more loot, a new settlement management aspect, improved mechanics for things like Power Armour and a full crafting system just don't work as well as you might think.  In fact they are often so often distractioing that you barely even focus on the main story at all..

You spend WAY more time doing tedious busy work like gathering crafting supplies and maintaining your weapoms and armour, the new dialogue system actually gives you less choices and the building system is a nightmare that makes it almost impossible to get things lined up exactly how you want them.  Good intentions but just not as good in terms of execution.

These game covers are going to cause some confusion. Here is what you're expected to get with each version.

I'm giving up on Xbox. They want everything to be so close in name to keep consumers confused. If you're not a hardcore gamer, like all of us here, or at least in the business, you're probably fucked at figuring out the difference, aside from noticing the physical shape of each system. At least Sony and Nintendo named their systems uniquely, and/or in numeric succession, so that consumers would know what the hell they're getting.

To some extent yes. Some games gain more popularity because of streaming. As for playing music, that's a tad bit different, because you're not advertising the music like a streamer would a game. Among Us is like a murder mystery game. You can play a max of 10 players per game, there are crewmates and impostors. Impostors are tasked with killing the crewmate, and can also sabotage areas on the map. Once a body is found, you're brought into an emergency meeting, where each surviving players have to discuss who they think the impostors are. This game came out in 2018 without much fanfare. But, due to some streamers showcasing it recently, it blew up and now the dev is working on adding to the game again. Watch a stream of it if you can, it's pretty much made for streaming.
I'm just going off of gameplay I've seen. People seem to really enjoy it though, so maybe it's a fine game. But my point still stands, it's helping these unknown games become a lot more popular. Developers know full well about it and happily go for it. Because it helps that game sell.
Even so, bad games can be good depending on who the person is. Minecraft and Fall Guys are well made games that take minimal effort to get into. You may find them to be terrible games, that doesn't mean it's so. I've played a lot of games I thought to be bad, but a lot of people end up enjoying them. It's all subjective. One bad game, could be a fun time for a group of friends. As long as people enjoy it, who cares.
And that's fine. Keep in mind though, a streamer can still stream a game, as long as they add commentary and make it transformative. What this means, is that they have to build upon the original content and add to it. Add their opinions, such as a review, or add their thoughts on the game, etc. That's considered fair use, since they're discussing it, making it transformative. I would understand if a streamer just streamed the entirety of a game without adding any commentary around it, but most streamers don't do this.
Keep in mind though, that most developers and publishers want people to stream their games. It does help sell games a lot more than standard marketing does these days. And sure, some bad games might be in the mix, but that's to be expected.
I have to disagree. Most streamers I've watched add a lot to the table, either it be from fan interaction, commentary, and free promotion of course. Streamers don't just sit there and play a game. If they did that, no one would be watching their streams.

What are you talking about? 33C is 91.4F  and 34C is 93.2F So what 4 numbers? Fahrenheit didn't make sense even at it's inception. It's based on a false reading of human temperature, and the freezing point of an ammonium chloride solution.  Which is just completely random. It's not a frame of reference to any normal human being.
And 0 is not an exact number, but 32 is? Whaat?

I hate the imperial system, it makes zero fcking sense. 180cm is a clear number, when someone says they are 5'11" that means less than nothing to me, they might well be talking in riddles. Same goes for stones, feet and yards. The only two things I can easily understand is miles because I've driven cars where the speedometer was also displaying miles. The other being pounds which I can roughly understand because weight plates usually have their weight embossed on them in both kgs and pounds.
The celsius scale is the simplest thing ever: 0= Water freezes 100 = Water boils over. The Fahrenheit? It's a completely arbitrary scale.
No, you order a 32cm Pizza, and an 5dl beer. Nobody orders in mililiters. Not even shots.

That's not a hard choice at all.  Cyanide kills fairly quickly but bleach mixes with the acid in your stomach releasing toxic Chlorine gas into the esophagus, mouth, nose and lungs...  not to mention the alkaline burning of the bleach itself.  It would be a slow and excruciating way to go,

As far as I can tell the only way to play Among Us with all the skins/pets and so on unlocked for free is to download a pirated or a cracked version of the game.  This is illegal hence I am not willing to talk you through the process.

I loathe these kind of microtransactions in games and I would sympathise if you couldn't afford basic necessities, but video games are an indulgence.  So if you can't afford skins in a game then just do without them.  Your better of not being sucked into buying this crap anyway.

For years now politicians have been making these very unwarranted accusations against gaming and gamers to protect themselves and/or organisations that support them against backlash and action that might affect their wallets.  It's not just games either but also music, TV shows, movies and even books.  It's well known amongst the gaming community that is in spite of decades worth of evidence and studies that prove that is a complete it's a complete crock of crap that they, naturally just choose to ignore.

So yeah, when you go onto a gaming forum and one of the first things you do is start a discussion throwing in that very bullshit is a bit like walking in a sports stadium being the only one wearing the rival teams shirt.  Some of us might get a little irritated.

If you ask me, people need to take off their tin foil hats, take their paranoia medication and see that not everything, in reality almost nothing, that happens in the world needs a complicated conspiracy to explain it. I'm no fan of China, don't get me wrong and Tencent is a horrible company, but the worst they want to do to you is rip you off. I have a Huawei Phone and a Huawei Tablet and the only complaint I have is the constant badgering to buy more cloud data for back-ups. It's also very hypocritical for the west to be so critical imo because we depend on China a lot more than most of us care to admit. Look around your house and check how many things in it have "Made in China" written on them, but you won't smash any of it, and these people will obviously still play Fortnight and buy games from Epic. Even the UK's Ministry of Defence was happy enough to involve China in its largest warship construction in history. Take at look at this crane that was vital in the assembly process of the QEC class aircraft carriers and take one guess where it was built.

End the paranoia. Even if the worst case scenario is real, it still isn't worse than what are people doing to themselves. It's stupid, paranoid, hypocritical, archaic and maybe even a little racist. World, just stop it.

EDIT: Now that I look at it, this is more of a ploitical topic than a gaming one, so I'm going to move the tpoic to the appropriate section.
