StaceyPowers Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 What are the most distinctive environments you have seen in open world games? I’ve really enjoyed how different Monarch in The Outer Worlds is from anything else I’ve seen.
Crazycrab Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Gravity Rush/Gravity Rush 2. I don't there is anything else that even comes close to that kinda design.
killamch89 Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 My choice would be Mirrors Edge - the graphical design along with the unique design of certain buildings is very distinct. The game itself was alright but the world was very distinctive.
Head_Hunter Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 GTA S.A, Assassin's Creed, Dying Lights, EAs Apex Legends etc. This are video games thrilling in their locations.
Boblee Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 I love the wildlife environment in the open world game Red Dead Redemption 2 and some of the one's in Skyrim.
Justin11 Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 AC, RDR-2, GTAs, MGPs, F1s, GT all have beautiful environment attached to them, which made the video games amazing.
Kane99 Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 San Andreas, GTA V, RDR 1 and 2, Skyrim, etc. All of these games have distinctive environments in open worlds. These are the types of games you want to play if you want to explore a huge area. More games big in size, are coming as well. So we could see even bigger maps and worlds in future games.
Justin11 Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 Yes, GTA location is simply top notch, I love the one in RDR as well, but not to be compared to GTA type.

Exactly, it's why I'm really attached to playing Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim and GTA V. They are really something done well in the making.
Justin11 Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 Even if I've missed my time playing Skyrim, I wouldn't spend more than enough time without playing any of the GTAs.

Between the locations in Skyrim and any of the GTA games that you have played, which one's did you find more appealing?

Skyrim remains superfluous, but GTA locations are simply more unique. And I played more of GTA games than the way I've played Skyrim.

I didn't hang much around Marvel's Spiderman game, due to lack of steady game time around the game. Do you see the location of the game being intriguing like GTAs type?

If you know New York City very well, and have played any of the Spiderman's games, you will see that it's a pure replication of the city.
