Some outlets on social media are trustworthy and you find they tend to only post rumours that are confirmed but then you will get accounts that will post rumours just because they can without any confirmation. The deal is just to find a legitimate one that has good reputation. If you believe every social media account you will definitely be misled. Off the top of my head, Kotaku is probably one of if not the most reliable source of gaming news in the industry although they do get things wrong occasionally. Yeah, that's very correct about how reliable most of the rumors and update Kotaku brings to the gaming fans. I've following Kotaku for years in which I have been impressed so far. The latest update from Bloober Team that's incharge of Silent Hill 2 remake is that the game is in the final stages of development. It will be console exclusive to PS5 with a PC release too. This is actually the reason why I follow some trusted X users when it comes to getting updates about video games because they are always accurate with the leaks they post about some video games. Finding a good account who has been correct for a certain period of time is the best way to go about it. It can be helpful to always screen those news to be sure that you are not been misled at all.
