Watching vs Playing

Recommended Posts

Do you prefer to watch sports on tv or do you prefer to play them in person?  Why do you prefer the one over the other?  Are there some sports you prefer to watch and some sports you prefer to play?  If so, which ones?

Playing over watching 1,000,000 times out of 1,000,000! 🙂

Watching is okay, I guess. In the right environment. I'm only really a fan of Basketball anyway, so at least it's not something boring as like Golf, or Soccer (I'd love to watch Baseball though, even though it's not really a thing in Australia.)

But playing Basketball to me is always the best option. 🙂

I prefer to watch sports on TV. Sometimes I play it myself but i feel more comfortable to sit at home grab some snacks and just watch the highest level of that sport.

I prefer to play football over watching. I also prefer to skateboard but I really love watching other people skateboard, too. I consider skateboarding a sport in my mind, right?

I rather have a friendly game of anything than watch other people having all of the fun. I don't like watching sports anyway, unless I'm watching it in person.

I personally would prefer to watch over play a lot of the time but that always depends on the kind of sport it is and whether or not I have an interest in it to both watch and play. Tennis is one I don't mind watching and playing if I am honest but when it comes to something like football I would rather watch that over play it. A small kick about on a field during the Summer is fine but to play a full match of football is not something I can do.

When I played football, I prefered to play over watching. It is way funnier 🙂

I agree - I prefer to go on the pitch and play although I do love watching it as well. My friends and I play football most Sundays 🙂
