StaceyPowers Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Are there any games you love that you discovered through VGR, and if so, who recommended them to you? I just finished Spec Ops: The Line, which was recommended to me by several members here, most notably @Katri Marcell, who I miss seeing around here. Everyone was spot-on with this recommendation!
The Blackangel Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 As far as recommendations go, I can't say any games have been specifically recommended to me by anyone. But as for games I have discovered, there have been a lot. From games I've gotten from @DC in bidding points, to games I've gotten curious about after seeing people talk about them here. The ones that I can think of off the top of my head are as follows: Infliction Legacy Of Fear Lydia REZ PLZ Slender The Arrival Skyrim The Childs Sight Syberia 2 The Witcher 3 Wunderling RDR 2 Life Is Strange Assassins Creed That's just what comes to mind. Granted one or two of them I knew of from outside the forum, but hadn't gotten into. I know there are more, but that's just a short list. Also thanks to @skyfire for his post about Tell Me Why. I'm dying to get that one.
ARx182 Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I didn't exactly discover Red Dead Redemption 2 on VGR, but it was recommended to me by a few people on here, can't remember who exactly. I had the game long before it was recommended to me, but the recommendation finally made me play it. So far, it is amazing!
Patrik Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Didn't discover but actually felt encouraged and excited to play some games such as Fallout (the whole games), RDR2 and Bioshock (to play the other parts as i completed the first game already 🙂 )
killamch89 Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Not really discovered any but I checked out some games like Ion Fury which is incredibly addictive and a few older games that I never played back in the day.
Heatman Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 I actually discovered about "The Last Of Us" from VGR and it's quite a very good one. I knew about Ghost of Tsushima before but getting more highlights about it here pushed me to play it sooner.
