  1. Oh for sure. Gaming for long hours is essentially the same as watching TV for long hours. Same sitting in the same spot for hours on end. etc. Poor health, poor blood circulation, etc. This could be solved by getting up every couple hours to stretch, move around, get your body moving more. Like taking a break for a little bit.
  2. Yeah I can't see Konami ever letting their properties go, even for money. Which sucks, because there are so many games they could bring back from the dead, and fans would go crazy for it.
  3. Oooh, Interesting. It's nice to see actual companies being against loot boxes. But, this is Capcom we're talking about, and I'm not sure if you all remember, but years back they had content on disc that was locked behind a paywall. This was for one of the street fighter games. But, if they changed their ways and aren't for this sort of stuff, I hope more companies jump on board with their opinion. You can read bore about this info here - techraptor
  4. I love what gamepass has become, an option to get tons of games for a month, on the cheap. Sadly, the PC selection currently, is a bit lacking. I would love to see more PC games showing up in game pass. What games do you think they could add next? I figure the majority of these games are coming to Xbox One and the new gen Xbox. But maybe some more PC only games? I'd like that too.
  5. Oof, well that's no good. According to PSU, the new game Destruction AllStars has story challenges locked behind a paywall, as this game has microtransactions, some of which can only be purchased by paying for their currency. The challenges come in the form of Challenge Series Events, that require their special currency to get, which means you have to drop real cash to even partake. Seems stupid to me. Anyway, what do you think? With some cosmetics and story challenges locked behind a paywall, is this a game you would even consider?
  6. You should give the original titles a shot before you do. In this day and age, studios like to change and add things to reboots. So if you want the best experience, I'd say play the originals if you can. You can get the 2nd, 3rd and a portable game in the HD collection that came out a while back. I suggest checking that out for 2 and 3. But get the PS1 version of MGS1 and play that. For it's time, it was revolutionary and I think it's aged fairly well for what it is. Even with the really outdated graphics, the game plays great imo. I remember playing the MGS1 demo years ago as a kid, and replayed the hell out of that demo. I finally got the game in my collection. 🙂
  7. 4K is going to be nice, especially with the new consoles having new graphical options like ray tracing and other cool stuff. Getting games at 60fps or more and in 4K is probably a sight to see. I can't wait to be able to game in 4K. But is it needed? Nah, I think I could live with 1080p or 2K even. But, I think once I actually play a game in 4K, is when I will make my decision.
  8. Not these days. I haven't really felt the need to check over cheat codes. Well, the last game I did any cheats on, was RDR2, for like unlimited or extended invincibility, and cheats like that. I haven't checked cheats for modern games since though, but maybe I should. Wonder if Cyberpunk has any cheats out there. 😄
  9. I don't know what this really has to do with gaming. Anyway, yeah, it's tough to get approved on YouTube, or to go anywhere on there. There's so many rules and issues with the service, that I've kind of steered away from using it. I just now use it to record my gaming streams. As I'm going to be streaming through a service called restream that will let me stream to all kinds of platforms.
  10. Yeah buy a SSD or another HDD to add to your system. It will be a lot better. External drives aren't as good for gaming unless they're made to be used for gaming. I would stick with SSDs though, as they are a smoother experience.

    Crypto?

I think it has potential to be an option alongside digital USD. I don't know if it will be the only way to pay, because I think no matter what, the USD will probably stick around. If anything, I can see them doing their own cryptocurrency. It just comes down to game companies like Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo to accept cryptocurrency, and once they do, everyone else might too.
  12. I've never dreamt of playing video games or seeing a video game in my dreams. Which I find to be weird since I like video games. I mostly have dreams about life. I don't remember most of what I dream of these days. I hate when I lucid dream though, as it makes me feel extra tired when I wake up.
  13. I love when companies release a demo for their upcoming games, especially when sometimes those demos aren't even a part of the full game. Like the recent RE 8 Maiden demo. I don't know if this portion will be in the game, but if it's not, it's a cool way to market a game. I wish more studios did these type of things. Could be an opening to a game, or maybe even the games tutorial. That'd be cool. What do you guys think?
  14. This is some cool news. John Hopkins and Mount Sinai are working on ways to help stroke patients recover. They are using tele-neurorehabilitation and gamification to help them. No idea what any of those things are, but if it can help stroke victims, more power to it for sure. You can read more about how they do this from Fierce Healthcare I think this is really awesome. If it can actually help people who suffered strokes, and help them regain functions again, that'd be awesome. My cousin had a small stroke when he was in his 30s, and I like to think if he had this back then, he would have recovered a lot faster.
  15. Konami hasn't been great in a quite a few years, not since before they blew it with the whole, getting rid of Kojima issue and focusing on stuff like pachinko machines. I don't think they can make quality games anymore, and I don't think they really care to do so. They still churn out some games, but it's not much. I think they only recently released their PES game. But I could be wrong. Anyway, what games from their side should they sell off? I'd love to see Metal Gear Solid sold to someone who would do something with it. Same with Castlevania, and Bomberman. There's a lot more I imagine, but these are the ones I would like to see sold to someone else. What do you guys think?
  16. Ooooh, I hope this means we're getting a new Metal Gear Solid. But, with the old cast returning, I wonder if we'll end up seeing a remake of the original game. Remakes are all the rage these days, and I think the first MGS could do with a remake. David Hayter, the man behind the original voice of Solid Snake, and Big Boss tweeted this bit of news: You can also read about this bit of news here - Gamesradar
  17. MP1ST has some news on some new merch from Sony called the PlayStation 5 Launch Collection. It's a limited edition set that comes with a PlayStation themed wool cap, Insulated water bottle, some socks, and tech decals. It's going to retail for $49.99 on Amazon. Is this something you'd buy? I think the cap and the bottle alone are worth it, considering hats go for around $20-25 and it's also wool. The water bottle probably costs around the same, so I think it's a pretty decent deal.
  18. Ooh, that's nice. I really want to upgrade to something with tempered glass one of these days. Or something that I can access the inside a lot more easier.
  19. Pretty much everything. Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and I think even on the Switch. But I believe it's also works through mobile. Yeah it's kind of similar to Jackbox. And yes, the voice recognition is really poor. Watch this video of Funhaus playing it. There's a few times they say something that comes out complete gibberish and it still get the answer correct. As well, the creators of the game sponsored this video lol.
  20. I do enjoy some online games, but only when they're with friends and I'm in a private party. Otherwise I don't play. As well, any games that require voice, I don't do anymore. So stuff like Among Us. My other reasons would be because the online community is often toxic and not worth the time.
  21. That's gaming for you. I knew a kid who would always join forums as videogameking or something, and he would always proclaim he was the best, and I think he genuinely thought he was the best. But he'd bitch and moan whenever he'd lose saying he was better than that, or that he just wasn't "feeling it". But yeah, you're always going to get those people. I wouldn't say I quit a game outright because of someone better than me, but I have quit lobbies and online matches when I encounter players I can't defeat. I will sometimes try my hardest, and still fail and if so I back the hell out of there so I don't have to deal with them anymore. Usually doing allows me to get back into some lobbies where I actually have a chance.
  22. Having multiple cameras gives you tons of options. Some may even be utilized to make 3D images and better shots. It gives you a lot of options for video and photography. If I'm not mistaken, I think most new phones on the market come with multiple cameras like this, some maybe even with 5. I think even the newer iPhones have like 4 cameras or something.
  23. I was actually going to say that when I started the topic, but forgot to lol. But yes, it reminds me of Black Mirror a lot.
  24. That's one I was thinking of, but forgot the title. I think that was one of the first on the 360 around the time kinect came out, right? I never played it though. I think I saw a video about Top Gun's voice options, but forgot who made it.
  25. Really depends on the game. If it's a story driven game, I often would like to see a continuation or a new storyline to go along with it. So DLCs are nice for that. But, DLCs can also add new clothing items, new weapons etc. Usually this stuff is paid for, unless it's free, which is sometimes the case. As for mods, those are more community based, though developers of the game can certainly add their own mods if they so desire. Mods tend to be free for the most part, but some places sell mods similarly like DLC. Mods also give you a lot more freedom, which is what I like, as you can add new textures, maps, items, characters, character models, etc. So much can be done. But with DLC, there's probably rules they have to follow, especially if it's being listed for sale in a marketplace.
