  1. The major problem with political correctness is coming from people that are out of touch “out of touch syndrome” is what I call it. And since it is those people who have money and power to change things like team names, they are the ones who are out of touch that I’m talking about. And their out of touch stupidity pisses off both sides and especially people on the right who use that ‘out of touch syndrome’ to further justify their racism. And you being angry about being able to say white, falls right into their hands. Because the people may cry fowl about racism, but those at the top make actual decisions in sports, business, etc. they are to blame.
  2. How can you fail to see 'Indians' is not offensive? Indians come from India, they are not the same as Native Americans. But I agree that the replacement names are stupid.
  3. In this case, they will own all the seeds. What is land when you got no seeds to sow?
  4. I actually like that philosophy, never looked at it that way before. 🤔
  5. I think that banning abortions is going to greatly contribute to those that need government assistance. So we can expect that area to increase.
  6. Secondary psychopathy: "Lack of effort towards socially rewarded behavior" How the hell does that make you a psychopath? So all dogs you can't teach a new trick are psychopaths?
  7. Cyberpunk just got a 1.5 update, so I'm gonna go ahead and download the game now to see if it's a ps4 dumpster dive or not.
  8. It says not Hispanic, multiple races. I don't know why Hispanic is so segregated from all the races when it's European. I'm Hispanic and never know what race to fill out because I'm also English and a bunch of other European ethnicity as well as Native American. I'm gonna start checking every box for now on because I'm everything.
  9. Here is some more information: Who uses SNAP? SNAP eligibility rules require that participants be at or below 130% of the Federal Poverty Level. 130 percent of the poverty line for a three-person family is $2,213 a month, or about $26,600 a year. Recent studies show that 43% of all SNAP participants are children (age 18 or younger), with more than half of SNAP children living in single-parent households. In total, 39% of SNAP benefits go towards households with children, 21% go to households with disabled persons, and 28% go to households with senior citizens. According to demographic data, 36.5% of SNAP participants are white, 25.8% are African-American, 16% are Hispanic, 3.3% are Asian, and 1.5% are Native American. How many people use SNAP in the United States? As of December 2021, 41.5 million persons were participating in SNAP. https://www.snaptohealth.org/snap/snap-frequently-asked-questions/ So how do those stats tie into inner cities and social programs being anti traditional family if the demographics on SNAP doesn't reflect the inner city demographics? That seems like an attack on city dwellers and those ethnicities.
  10. Here is a chart for demographics of people on SNAP benefits for single person households, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. I know it's just one program and I'm not about to look up each and every one, but this gives an idea on what people get food assistance. And of course there are also many other charts by the USDA which shows financial demographics and sizes of families. But this chart gives an overall demographic summary of individuals. Inner cities tend to be more diverse, but you can see the majority of people getting benefits are actually from white/non Hispanic, which would not reflect the demographics of inner cities. And that doesn't show that social programs has anything to do with anti traditional family or whatever bull honkey you threw in there. So attacking social programs may not be a good idea if you are thinking that it's just for inner city or different ethnicity types.
  11. There are private schools that are religious and that should be separated from public schools. Public schools get funding, and those religious schools don't, at least not legally. Sometimes they find loopholes to get funding. That's one of the reasons why religious people want to push their belief into public schools. And what kind of prayer is their argument that should be allowed in schools? There are different religions, so there would be a lot of conflict in a public school system if religion became indoctrinated.
  12. I quoted him on your reply, now it looks like you said it...Not my intent
  13. You guys are some fast guns. I'm at 288. I'm gonna subtract 50 for computer lag. 238!!! That's better.
  14. The murderers are now on trial to see if what they did was a hate crime which would add to their sentence. The FBI has revealed that they used a bunch of racial slurs in texts and social media. I know, I know, its a bitch waking up from denial. https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/testimony-resume-ahmaud-arbery-death-hate-crimes-case-82920056
  15. You forget that before vaccines even came out, those same people complained about mask wearing as a violation of human rights, and at the same time attacked abortion and women's rights. The pandemic has been politicized. And my above comment: if they are against vaccinations, then all required vaccinations have to go. You can't just pick one to politicize.
  16. To make the Matrix demo on unreal engine 5, it took over a year with over 20 employees. So you can imagine the time it would take to make a full game of that caliber. And to see it in regular use will be at least a few years from now. I think they are actually combining real footage into gameplay.
  17. Now Google is adding privacy protection to their Android which will make advertising targeting even harder and will also effect Meta just as Apple did with their new privacy protection. Apple's new privacy update cost Meta $10 billion. We can expect Google to leave a dent too. Right Now Meta is getting eaten up by data privacy concerns. We have to wait and see how they respond to these new changes from the EU, Apple, and Google. https://www.barrons.com/articles/in-new-blow-to-facebook-google-will-make-it-tougher-to-track-consumers-on-android-51645028617?siteid=yhoof2
  18. If the game started today, then a good 4 years from now if it's top quality. I think the norm will be 2026.
  19. Comfort is definitely going to be an issue. Metaverse has come out with VR gloves and are making body suits. I think they are focusing too much on physical interaction and not enough on graphical quality. But I don't think it's overhyped. It's the future of gaming and something that can't be stopped. The most I've ever been scared playing a game was Exorcist Legion VR for Oculus. What concerns me now though, is the future experiments that will be done on animals in order to master VR potential. Elon Musk now has to face an animal rights investigation for his Neuralink experiments on monkeys. Let's hope this kind of thing is not the consequence for our entertainment needs, and we experiment responsibly. Because I have no doubts VR will eventually get more and more physically involved with our brains. Right now it's suits, and tomorrow its implants. VR is going to be the gateway to other technologies. Since we aren't close yet, maybe it is overhyped.
  20. Any fans of Red Faction? I loved that game. And I kept coming across the name Ultor while playing Saints Row 2 and it finally clicked. Saints Row and Red Faction are both made by Volition and Ultor is the primary antagonist in Red Faction and Saints Row 2. Romans had a Temple of Mars called Ultor, which fits into Red Faction and how Ultor corp. tried to enslave workers and control everything on Mars. I wondered why Saints Row turned into an alien shooting gallery in Saints Row 4. I don't know if there is a tie-in for that game, but I can see the series merging with Red Faction if they branch out into extraterrestrial themes. What do you think about the possibility of merging? Cause it doesn't look like there will be another Red Faction game unless the popularity of Saints Row can bring it back. I haven't played Saints Row 4 and it looks they got all wacky with the aliens, but maybe there is some depth to it. I think it would be a good thing if Volition merged the two. Ultor is a good super villain corporation. Maybe they can bring the ganstas to Mars. Intriguing creativity could happen here.
  21. I agree it’s the parent’s responsibility and games have ratings, so what more is there to do? Kids have gotten into trouble long before games or even tv was invented. Just blame the parents for everything. Bad behavior starts at home.
  22. Saints Row 2; game is a must have… everyone needs to branch out to different games. Try new things. I never would have come across this legendary game if I didn’t branch out.
  23. Food is the key to the heart.
  24. I don't know how much Nintendo was affected by the chip shortage, or if it was as bad as the playstation and xbox. But with these console wars and Russia/Ukraine about to go to war and the sanctions against Russia, we can expect there to be even further chip shortages. So even if they wanted to buy everything up and make exclusives to their consoles, think about the future of chip shortages and the least dependent on it will come out on top. It's hard to determine which console sells the most or in most demand when there is scalpers and chip shortages. I think that is an underlying and prolonging issue for all consoles going forward. How the chips affect the monopoly wave, is yet to be seen. If you think about it, the shortage may even influence the monopoly behavior if there is only enough chips for one console brand. Let's say it never gets that bad. I still will forever be against this buying up craze. Competition should be based on what you can offer and not what you can buy off; and definitely not what you can offer through cheating the competition because you have the money to do so. Covid boosted the gaming industry and is destroying it by attracting the greedy spotlight and monopoly madness. Then the regulators come in to investigate, and spurs them into even more of a buying frenzy before laws are passed that protect consumers. Fuck all them monopoly brats. Put them egg heads on the wall and watch them fall, or push them over for good measure.
