Reality vs Adventure

In Watch Dogs Legion, to summon different drones and even ride them over the city; just plain amazing and beautiful. Destroy All Humans-ability to give humans the shits and even be able to take over their body. Hell, even being able to lift them into the air from a distance and toss them is cool.

I'm trying to broaden my horizons by playing games similar to my favorite GTA 5; I have found that Saints Row 2 is pure fun to play. Watch Dogs Legion is intense joy; GTA 5 is fun joy, and Saints Row 2 is pure joy. Joy joy joy

Saints Row for sure is a big competitor to GTA.

I just got Saints Row 2 and spent the whole night playing it. I have no words to explain how bad ass the game is. I recently got GTA San Andreas too and Saints Row 2 beats San Andreas, as well as GTA 4. How SR2 didn't get as popular as GTA leaves me dumbfounded. The game is a whole lot crazier than anything I've experienced with GTA. It's like GTA multiplied to the extreme. All I can say is that Saints Row 2 is fun as hell and one of my personal favorites now. I also bought Saints Row The Third remastered but have not received it yet. So I'm excited about this reboot. I can't wait. I'm not sure if it's true about Saints Row 4 and how it went bonkers in crazyville, but hey, bring it.

I don't think so because I have completely forgot about the Frances Haugen whistleblower scandal recently where Facebook profited by contributing to the spread of misinformation and Facebook has lost users for the first time. Add to that Apple's privacy changes makes for a $10 billion loss; and antitrust investigation. Those things added to a 4th quarter loss, which led to the huge loss on Thursday. Why such a panic happened that caused the stock to sink that bad, I don't know. I think the future is bright with Oculus and Meta isn't going anywhere, but what happened with the stock is a clear warning sign that Meta needs more than a name change.

Before this discussion goes AWOL, we shouldn't loosely throw around the term gay because it might come off as offensive, and that's not what I want it to lead to.

I'm not sure how much of an impact this had on Meta, but supposedly the new Apple privacy changes called App Tracking Transparency has had an impact on the amount of advertisements in web browsing that Meta uses. So this will continually impact Meta.

Yeah, I'm shocked to hear that. It'll take some digging to find out what happened, but Wall st. closed with Meta having the biggest record loss in U.S. history. There is a bigger picture going on here; right now it's not too clear what that is.

Only if they care to learn from trip ups. To allow a company to screw up a trilogy that represents you is extremely careless, so we have to question their leadership. They've been sitting fat for a while, now they have to burn some off and whip into shape if they want to step into the ring of competition again.

They've had plenty of time so there can't be any excuses for them. Not Covid, not economy, not even an apocalypse could be their excuse. But I do think GTA 6 will be released during an apocalypse. 😎

I'll be 43 this month. Gaming is the new thing for our age. Did you play games in the classic 80's era? I did as a kid/teen and recently got back into it.

Today Meta lost 220 billion when Wall St opened which is a 24% slump and if that holds by the time Wall St closes, it will be the largest one day loss in corporate history. Meta's value is at $680 billion this morning from $898 billion.

I'm liking San Andreas. I'm a fish on a hook right now with GTA. San Andreas brings a bit of the 90's nostalgia with the music and things they say. Gameplay is pretty fun too. I can see why the game was such a big hit back then. So I say, yes it's worth playing other GTA games. I'm a fan.

When people start playing GTA 5 on ps5, it'll revive the game for a couple more years. A lot is going to happen in the USA the next couple years, so if GTA 6 wants to keep their satirical theme, that would be some supreme stomping ground ripe for GTA 6 to shit on it all a couple years from now. The game could be an awesome fuck you and farewell to law and order and sanity. I say it'd be worth the wait.

Me too! I started playing the game for the first time last night as I just got the game.

I'm still waiting on an update for the ps4. I have an unopened copy from over a year now. If the next update still isn't playable for the ps4, then I'm just gonna hold the game for ps5 when I get it many years from now when prices are $400. I've just about giving up on it.

I wish I can unread that, but it's a good example of stirring the controversy pot gone wrong. This is more of that ‘out of touch syndrome' from developers that are trying to reach a certain population that they know nothing about, or just trying to portray their game as open minded, but ends up offending those people. They simply tried to get some publicity attention and now they offended that community by displaying a trans person with an erection like they are a deviant. And then there are more attacks on how crazy the left is and blah blah blah, when it was all another case of 'out of touch syndrome' by developers looking for attention.
