To be honest, not really but I did learn how to sneak up on someone without them noticing from playing Splinter Cell.

It's multi-plat, so it's on whatever device, there's even a mobile version of the first game as well.
Basically it's an interactive narrative, similar to a Telltale game. The choices you make influence the ath of the story. The original is a story centred around a girl name Max, a photography student attending an art collage having moved back to her home town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon. She experiences a nightmare having dosing off in class to then discover she has gained the ability to rewind time at will. I'd love to say more, but it would to walking close to spoiler line to do so, but how this story develops, the way you can influence it and the characters you encounter makes the best game of its type I've played and it's well worth it. Of course, if you're not into games that focus almost entirely on story with no real skill based gameplay other than exploration and light puzzle mechanics, this won't be for you, but I adore this game and this franchise.

Uhm yeah. The Mako is OKAY for just exploring but yeah don't use the jump jets. And if possible try to fight outside it cause it's really not that useful for combat.

It could never have the same impact as a movie as it did in the game.  So much of what made The Last of Us so engrossing was the interactive nature of the storytelling.  I'm not saying it cant be made into a good movie but it wouldn't be the same.

I disagree as well, I dont want to see a movie, but I would be down for a short film.

It could be cool but I'm just not sure that it is really necessary.  I feel like the game already did a great job at telling that story and did so very cinematically.  I am just not sure what a film could really add to it.  Also, I fear a Max Payne situation, where the game is already very cinematic and could be its own movie so they arbitrarily change it to make it different and just ruin it.

I'd absolutely watch it and I think it has the potential to be more than just an average zombie flick. Whether it would be as amazing as the game--well, I think that would be pretty much impossible. Ultimately, it'll be disappointing for many, I'm sure.

In Planetside 2, there is a bunch of carrier aircraft called Galaxy Gunships which basically transported troops and in one particular session, that is what I played as the entire time. I was sometimes escorted by a flying squadron and I had to dogfight in the aerial equivalent of a bulldozer. It is extremely slow and is not very agile so I was constantly fired at but I enjoyed it. Share your experiences - what is the most interesting role you ever played?

Specifics, huh? Ok then, here's a few:
Beating the Plutonium Boss - Blaster Master
Finding The First Crown - Legacy Of The Wizard
Discovering Level 8 - The Legend Of Zelda
Beating Mike Tyson - Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Beating Shadow Link - Zelda 2
    Saving Princess Whats-Her-Name from Psy-Crow - Earthworm Jim 2
Beating Even ONE Dungeon - Zelda Goddess Of Wisdom
Beating Tubular - Super Mario World
Collecting At Least One Of Every Item From Every Monster - Castlevania SOTN

That's the best list I can come up with at the moment. I woke up at 4 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so I'm pretty much running on empty right now.

I'm with you there.  Coming of a back of console genrastion that mostly produced side scrollers and overheard RPGs and the only 3D titles were moslty FPS's and a handful of flying games, Zelda OoT was a giant leap forward.

Some games I understand time limits, and have no problem with them. SMB for example. Some games that 99% of which aren’t timed, however, get on my nerves when they throw a timed event in.

Marble Madness had some weird mechanics. The marble feels like it's full of lead slowing it down, while on ice and moving like there's a drunk Nascar driver on a go cart track. I played it once after I dropped acid, and it was beyond a freaky trip. But I was also kicking purple gnomes in the nuts to make them shut up and watching a unicorn buttfuck a faery, so go figure. And don't even get me started on the singing sword that was castrating the furniture. The car fought it at first but eventually submitted after the hay in the barn talked it into it. I also had to apologize to all the fibers on the carpet for stepping on them when I went out and asked the door for permission to touch it. The bastard made me answer 3 fucking riddles before letting me outside. The clouds thought the whole thing was funny as hell. And a note of caution kids: don't play with an electric fence when you've dropped acid. It won't go well.
All in all, it was a bit of a wild ride.

Their upbringing. If the character had a childhood or upbringing like mine, then I can relate to them.

The Zodiac Killer. The two who survived his attacks gave the same exact description of him, as you can see. Yet he continued his spree, taunting the police and news with his own cypher, was never identified or caught. Now 50 years later only part of one of his cyphers has ever been decoded, and we are no closer to learning his true identity. His cunning, skill, and intelligence kept him from being known forever. He knew how to do it, when to do it, and where to do it, and get away with it. I greatly admire that.

StaceyPowers reacted to Crazycrab in How do you pace yourself going through main story missions/quests?
If it's leveled quests (Horizon Zero Dawn, Witcher 3) I tend to start with the lowest leveled quests and work my way up.  If there is multiple questlines with different factions (Skyrim, Oblivion) I will focus on one faction at a time breaking into the main quest every once in a while.

Sorry you're not feeling well Stacey, I hope it gets better soon.
I don't tend to play games when I'm feeling like this. I tend to draw or read or watch TV. If I do play a game it tends to just be whatever I've been playing at the moment anyway. Or The Sims 4. Comfort in the familiar.

Gaming isn't something I tend to do when I get like that, or at least I don't deliberately choose to game because I get like that. I'm more likely to don my headphones and listen to some music, maybe even go for a walk as I do. If I want to game, but feel like I can't be dealing with any more stress, I'll replay a game as I find that familiarity more soothing and comforting that playing a game I don't know as well.

It all depends on the game. Some games are better with a predrawn character, while others are better with a fully customized character.
