  1. I'm going to purposely overlook that video Empire simply because I don't want to see any spoilers! By the time I'm ready to splurge on a PS5 I'm hoping most if not all the bugs are sorted out! :)
  2. Interesting point! Come to think of it most of the roads do seem a bit too tidy huh? Despite the game being so detailed, I agree that the paved ways should appear more worn than others.
  3. It hasn't been an issue for me but then again I don't play daily for long periods of time. Years ago I used to play The Sims for HOURS. I think my eyes get tired before my hands do.
  4. I mean, technically I COULD play without the sound track in the background. The music is one of the things I really enjoy about video games. Even games like Tetris or Super Mario like... the old school games, I love the music!
  5. With central air I don't really worry about the hot weather outside. I must say that I rarely play more than an hour two in any one sitting.
  6. I'm pretty sure the very first game I ever played was Tetris for gameboy. (Like the original brick!)
  7. I usually don't have this issue while I'm playing a game. Although, my husband loves to tinker with the display and audio settings WHILE I'm playing a game to suit his liking so maybe he beats me to it before it's actually a problem.
  8. I really enjoyed this film and am so happy to learn that Wonder Woman 3 is in progress! A little sad to be honest that this will be the last installment with Gal Gadot. I can't imagine Wonder Woman being played by anyone else. What do you think about this movie?
  9. I want to say that I've completed the story at least 3 times now. Nowadays I can only play in about 20-30 minute increments so I enjoy fishing and fulfilling quests, just casual game play. This game is so beautiful, I love it - almost as much as FFX. Any other FFXV fans here? Who's your favorite? Ignis fan here. :)

    Word Games

I enjoy word games but got pretty burnt out on Words with Friends. Do you have any other recommendations? I play a word search game occasionally but that gets old fast, I prefer to do word searches with the traditional pen and paper.
  11. Does anyone here play Mario Golf: Super Rush? I'm really curious about the game but I'm not sure if I'm $60 curious. haha I haven't decided yet! Someone convince me! :)
  12. What makes Protonmail the best? I've honestly have never heard of it before. I prefer gmail above all else just because of convenience. Yahoo! I keep simply because it's the first official email service I signed up with.
  13. Group parties?! I'm so jealous. I don't have any real life friends that enjoy gaming like that. (That sounded really sad typing it out.) I mean, I don't have friends who live near me that like to play ok, that's not any better! haha! It's just me and my husband most of the time and when we do have people over who want to play it's usually one or two more at most. With that being said... for Xbox we only have a total of two controllers.
  14. I personally love playing Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch. The versatility is what wins me over! I can play it docked so I can watch it on the the big screen. ...or if I'm wanting to be able to move from room to room with ease I can do that as well. A must if you have a toddler, let me tell you. :)
  15. I am huge fan of Taylor Swift feat. Brandon Urie of Panic! at the Disco's ME! music video. It must have been so much fun to record it. The song itself is so fun to listen to. I was really impressed to learn that Brandon was actually under the weather when he recorded his part in the studio.
  16. I love Zombie Apocalypse shows and movies but I did not get past Season 2 of The Walking Dead. I think it was because there was so much hype around it and I just naturally like to sit out things like that until the hype dies down. I'm like that with most shows. I think it's because I find it so devastating to get into a show and it abruptly ends due to budget cuts. Perhaps sometime when I retire I will catch up on The Walking Dead series!
  17. Strong no. I embrace mistakes and imperfections. ...with the exception of typos. Even when it comes to text messages you will see say something lke: *like (just as an example). I have poor penmanship and most of my tasks are done with the best effort I can give at the moment when I finished the task, not necessarily with perfection. I find that it's too stressful to place such high standards on myself and everyone else.
  18. The game that immediately comes to mind is Until Dawn. I remember the game stressing me out and I remember thinking I'm supposed to be playing for fun not to be stressing like this. lol Thinking about it though I rarely finish any games with a story line, exception being Final Fantasy games. I always have to see those through.
  19. Currently we have our console laying flat. I think this is because we have a toddler and fear of it being knocked over by any flying object. It's usually not an issue but why risk it? That totally makes sense though your reasons for keeping yours standing up.
  20. This has been my experience playing games like Super Mario World or Donkey Kong. I still find myself getting immersed in the gameplay despite the aged graphics. It doesn't keep me from enjoying the nostalgia all the same.
  21. I think I would have to agree with the others that there is something about the SNES experience that makes me choose it as the best console. The Nintendo Switch is definitely a VERY close second. I just love the convenience of being able to play both docked and handheld. The game options are amazing! I love that generally games tend to be family friendly. I don't have a lot of time to play games anymore so it's great having a nice collection of titles that I can pick up on the fly and play a short 15-20 minute session.
  22. I think Gears of War 2 will always have my heart. MANY hours were spent playing that game. LOVED playing co-op with my friends. The campaign felt short but I think that actually made me fall in love with it more.
  23. We've got an external drive, turtle beach wireless headset, and two controllers. Are there sensor games available for the Xbox One? I will have to look that up! I think dance games would be fun! Have you seen the electric volt colored controller? I wish I was in the market for a new controller, but that would be an unnecessary splurge. I feel like I would never lose the controller!
  24. Unless there's a crazy trade in deal I don't think I will be picking up the OLED version any time soon. I'm sure it will look beautiful and the sound will probably be better but it's not enough for me to go out of my way to purchase simply because I tend to use the Switch docked anyway. I'm a bit disappointed that a built-in bluetooth option for sound wasn't worked in as that would probably be the nudge that would work for me.
  25. For some reason I've never made it habit to keep cases for PC games whenever I buy a physical copy. For my Xbox and Nintendo Switch games that I don't buy digitally I definitely keep in cases and like to display them. I get warm and fuzzy feelings whenever I see my games lined up neatly across the room. haha
