Many of you may be aware that Xbox and Microsoft had planned to scrap the £1/$1 Game Pass and just recently, that change happened only it happened right before Starfield is about to be released and will also be accessible on Xbox Games pass as well meaning those who wish to take advantage of the game being available on day release on Xbox Game Pass having to pay full price. What are your thoughts on Xbox and Microsoft scrapping the £1/$1 Game Pass right before this popular release?

For those of you who have pre-ordered the premium edition of Starfield, you will be aware that you will gain early access of the game on September 1st 2023 however the time of release was not something that many were aware of until recently. If you are waiting for early access, you will be pleased to know that you will be able to play the game from 12 am UTC (1 am GMT, 8pm EST and 5pm PST) Are you waiting for early access?

If you are someone who is waiting for Baldur's Gate to launch on Xbox, you may be wondering when there will be a date given for the release of the game on Xbox. As you may know, Baldur's Gate is releasing on the PlayStation 5 very soon but no actual release date has been confirmed yet for an Xbox release. Larian Studios though have spoken out and confirmed that those waiting for the game on Xbox will see a release before 2023 ends leaving a short period of time where a release date could be. Are you waiting for Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox?

Fall Guys has been released now for just over a year and even though many were excited to play the game and see it become free to play on all platforms, you can't help but realize just how much the game is lacking at the moment. I know we are getting updated Show Passes every once in a while and we also see different game modes featured on Fall Guys as well as seeing custom game modes as well from the community but aside from that, there is only so much you can play in Fall Guys and it can leave you feeling burned out quite quickly. What are your thoughts on Fall Guys? Do you feel more could be added to the game to allow players more to choose from?

Starfield is due to release for those who have pre-ordered and get early access on 1st September 2023 and for those who have to wait or who are waiting for it to drop on Game Pass, they will gain access to play on the 6th September 2023. I myself have only looked into Starfield a little bit but it does look like a game I would be interested in playing. Are you looking forward to Starfield? Do you have early access or will you be waiting until the 6th September?

I have always been someone who enjoys keeping up to date with the weather and I often follow severe weather that happens around the world. My heart goes out to anyone who has to go through what we see when we severe weather events that take place. Just this past week we have seen Florida get hit with Hurricane Idalia and I have followed that myself but my heart goes out to those who have lost so much. Are you someone who tends to follow severe weather events?

On 22nd August 2023, a new season was launched in Destiny 2 called Season of the Witch. I have as of yet not played it yet but I hope to do so soon. I haven't played Fortnite in quite a long time, probably since 2022 if I am honest. Have you played the new season of Destiny 2, Season of the Witch? What are your thoughts on the new season?

There are so many games that we would play so many times over but we very rarely talk about the games that we play that we would never go back and play again. I have played many games myself and there are a lot that I would go back to but there are also ones I would never play again, for example PUBG was one I played but never really liked so I never went back to it. Are there any games you have played that you would never go back and play again. What is your reason for it?

We have seen video games and gaming in general come so far in terms of technology and how much better they now look and also what we can do in games as well. When I think back to how far we have come, it seems to be moving quite fast and technology is moving faster than we may actually notice. Let's say we look forward to 10 years time. Where do you think gaming will be then?

Summer is almost over and we all know that Xbox has an Xbox End of Summer sale each year around this time and the end of summer sale is live now! I as of yet have not checked out the end of summer sale but will do in a little bit. Have you picked up anything from the Xbox end of summer sale? Do you plan on picking anything up during the sale?

As many will know even though you may not be someone who plays on PlayStation, each month Sony and PlayStation offer games to PlayStation Plus users each month. Some people find that the games they release as a perk are great and others tend to feel a little let down on them depending on what games are offered. What are your thoughts on the games that are offered within PlayStation Plus each month?

I have heard a lot about War Thunder and I knew it had come to mobile but I have not as of yet checked it out. I believe I know about it due to seeing advertisements on either YouTube videos or also ads in mobile games I have played in the past. I definitely would like to try it at some point though so will be a game I will download and check out.

What game(s) do you not want to see on Switch?
Shortie replied to The Blackangel's topic in Nintendo
I tend to do the same thing and play my Switch docked as well unless I want to take it to an area a TV would not be available such as outside in the garden on a nice day. I do wonder if with a more updated console from Nintendo AAA games would work better on the console as opposed to the Nintendo Switch consoles that are available now. It will be interesting to see what they end up announcing next. -
I was also someone who never had a Gameboy SP growing up and still to this day I have not used one or owned one myself so that was definitely one handheld console that I missed put on unfortunately. It's a shame that was one that I missed out on as I always hear others talking about it and it seems that it was an amazing handheld.

When I look at the part of the image you have circled, I see what looks like a character on the bottom, I want to say Mario but not too sure. Curious to see what others see in that part of the image though.

I actually never thought of that but when I do think about it there have been instances where this has happened and unless as you say, you have the physical copy, you can no longer play that game due to it being delisted. I guess that is one of the reasons why people would hate to see digital take over completely.

Which Esports-Popular games have you played?
Shortie replied to Debashis's topic in Esports & Competitive Gaming
Call of Duty and Fortnite are two games I know that are eSports games and I have played Call of Duty in the past and I still play Fortnite now. I wouldn't say that I am at the level to be an eSports player on these games but I do like to watch tournaments and eSports for both of these games. -
Are you looking forward to The Gex Trilogy Remastered?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Has there been any date given for when pre-orders start yet? Would like to be able to get on that as well myself when they finally start taking orders. I have a feeling my kids will like the game so hoping to get it for release 🙂 -
Not going to lie and say that I didn't see this coming as I did and I for one am very happy to see it's finally got to this stage. Unfortunately, Trump really did feel as though he was above the law even before he became President and even after and really thought he could get away with so much. I do hope this goes as far as it needs to because he deserves it as do those who supported him.

I found with the Sonic games, they were done in a way that it would not seem real I suppose is how I would put it. Games nowadays tend to be more realistic and that also goes for the underwater features in the game and also drowning if that is in the game as well. It would make sense that we would see that more nowadays as they do try to make games as realistic as possible now.

I finally finished my Free to Play MMORPG!
Shortie replied to Empire Of Sight's topic in Video Games
I can't say I have but would be willing to try it out at some point 🙂 I do like games where you need to grind, played so much Destiny 2 in the past and loved that game and that is very much a game you need to grind as well. -
How often do you play the creative modes on Fortnite?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Gaming Forum
I have noticed creative becoming more popular myself over the last month or so since Fortnite released their Unreal Engine Fortnite to players so they can make their own game modes that can be reviewed and published in the game. It has meant we are now seeing many different game modes available under UEFN in the game which are a lot of fun to play and they also give you season XP which goes towards the battle pass as well for playing the modes under UEFN which I feel is awesome. Ever need a break from battle royale? Creative may have something 🙂 -
Do you prefer building or zero-build on Fortnite?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Gaming Forum
I tried so many times to better my building skills and I never managed to get it so I was very glad when zero-build released and no it is just one all out battle royale making it fair with port-a-forts instead of crazy building. I find I play a lot more and I play better playing zero-build. -
Minecraft is definitely one that is very chill to play solo. I know when I used to play it, I would play it solo sometimes and just build things in creative and it helped to chill out and relax after a difficult day.

Many who I have spoken to who tend to play a lot of GTA 5 and also GTA RP have mentioned how they would love to have GTA VI implement RP into their game. Not sure if that is something that they may consider or how it would work but with GTA RP being as popular as it is, we'll have to see.
