  1. Being that I haven't purchased a VR headset or used on myself I only know so much about VR and how it works but I do know that there are quite a few games out that have become quite popular. I know that beat saber is one of the more popular ones and I have seen many people playing this VR game and it does look like a lot of fun but also somewhat difficult. Definitely sounds like a game I would be all for when I did get a VR headset. What is your favourite VR game? What makes you choose this game over all others?
  2. Just Dance 2023 was released last month with a whole new overhaul of the game. It's a refreshing change compared to previous games if I am honest and it's nice to see that they have made improvements. Usually I get it for my kids for Christmas Eve but I got it earlier this year as I plan to change it up a little for Christmas Eve this year. Have you picked up Just Dance 2023 this year? What are your thoughts on the huge overhaul of the game?
  3. I was curious the other day whether they still did games for singing and I was quite shocked to see that they do still do games and there is one that is actively updated that I am hoping to get for Christmas for the family, it's called Let's Sing. There are a lot of awesome songs on it many that will go down really well at Christmas for a laugh and some fun. You don't even need to have a microphone as there is an app that works with the game that you can use the phone as a microphone which I feel is really cool. Have you ever played Let's Sing?
  4. Something I have often pondered is what if the Xbox Series X or S was released in different colors rather than just the standard white and black colour that it is? What if you could choose the colour you wanted? What colour would you go for? I personally would go for a purple colour if the option was there as I feel that would be cool and unique. I know this is never going to happen but it is something that I had been thinking about, seemed an interesting topic.
  5. As much as I have toyed with the idea of betting on esports I often pull myself away from doing so because of how unpredictable they can be to be honest. I know that with my luck I would probably bet and not win but would still try my luck and we all know that never goes well when you do that so it's best for me to steer clear and let the pros continue with that.
  6. Looking back at this brought a whole lot or memories back for sure! It just goes to show how much the controllers have changed over the years and how much you don't fully realize it until you see one from a while back and see the changes made. The price tag is definitely not one I am too keen on but it is something I would love to get my hands on if I was able to and had the funds.
  7. I remember when I first saw the PlayStation 5 console the first thing that came to mind was an internet router as that is what it looked like with the style of it. I still to this day say the same thing that it looks like something I would have in my home for an internet router. It is quite bulky I'm not going to lie but with how much they have to fit in the console, it makes sense that it would be as big as it is.
  8. Being that I am not much of a PlayStation fan to be honest whenever I do go on to play a game if I get any trophies it will be random and not what I have hunted for. I used to be an achievement hunter on Xbox and would religiously try and get achievements in any game I played, but with PlayStation I don't really tend to do that and will just play a game because I enjoy it and get trophies along the way.
  9. My favourite handheld console used to be the Nintendo DS, I used to spend hours playing games on the Nintendo DS. Since the release of the Switch though I have found that because of the games available on there I much prefer that as a handheld now due to the fact I can play games such as Overwatch, Apex Legends, Fortnite and even Fall Guys on the go or away from the TV.
  10. Very much so, it was Destiny. I remember jumping on the game and not being 100% sure on what I needed to do or how things worked and no matter how much I played I found I couldn't get the hang of it. After a while I chose to sit and look up videos and also tutorials to better understand the game and know how to get the best out of the game and now I play it so much and have so much fun on it. I have been trying to teach my daughter Destiny but she has the same issue as me when I started. Hopefully with time she will get the hang of it.
  11. I would have to say Sonic if I am honest. Being a huge fan of Sonic and playing it throughout being a kid so much I got to used to the older model of Sonic, since growing up Sonic has changed so much over the years and as much as I do like it many people have voiced their concerns on how they don't like it at all and often complain about it. Yes the changes are something you do need to get used to especially if you have been a Sonic fan for a while but it is something you can get used to.
  12. With the release of the new generation of consoles such as Xbox Series S and X and also PlayStation 5, anyone who has been unable to afford to upgrade has been left behind on the older consoles. I myself am in that boat at the moment where I am still on the Xbox One X and I have noticed that games such as Fortnite which updates quite frequently and I have noticed that the time to load the game and get into the game now takes a lot longer than it ever did. If you are still on the older generation of consoles are you noticing slow loading times on games?
  13. Probably sounds crazy but the characters from Animal Crossing are ones that I find really encouraging if I am honest. They are so positive no matter what happens in the game and it pushes me to want to be as positive as they are when it comes to things happening in life. I am the kind of person that when something goes wrong I always think bad at first and I hate that.
  14. Yes, definitely, Games have a rating on them to help protect the children and I really do think that parents should always be looking at this and making their own decision as to whether or not their child should be playing it. As a gamer myself I play majority of the games that my children have an interest in so I will have an insight into whether my kids can play it or not or whether I feel it would be suitable for them.
  15. I would have to say Left 4 Dead. I played the first and second games from this franchise and even though there were rumours we would get a Left 4 Dead 3, nothing ever came of that and instead we got a game under a different name that was similar to Left 4 Dead but never really felt the same called Back 4 Blood. I played Back 4 Blood a few times but I could never really get into it at all, felt nothing like what Left 4 Dead felt like and just wasn't a game I enjoyed. I still do not understand why they didn't just make a Left 4 Dead 3 to be honest.
  16. If I was to say I have never made any money playing video games I would be lying as from 2017 - 2022 I took on content creation and I did make money throughout those years doing just that, playing video games. In terms of any other ways to earn playing video games I have always been skeptical about those and will often overlook them because I worry that they will not be all as it seems.
  17. There are two games that I would love to be able to spend a day in if I am honest, one of them not so risky and the other a little risky. Fortnite I think would be a really cool game to be part of, I guess because I play it so much I feel that it would be a cool thing to experience being part of the game, my only worry would be the storm and the endless amounts of problems I could run into being in the game. Another game I would love to spend a day in is Animal Crossing New Horizons. Just to be able to spend a day there taking in the sights and just being part of it would be amazing. Again this is a game I played a lot so that is a lot of the reason I feel it would be cool to be part of.
  18. I must have missed out on this myself as I can't say I ever remember playing a game myself that had this feature and it seems like a really awesome and different feature if I am honest. Any games I have played have always had the catalogue method where you can mass buy things in the game or just purchase something. Even with a game such as animal crossing it's always a catalogue type way of doing it and not picking things up from a shelf. That would actually be cool in Animal Crossing.
  19. Yes! Fortnite is one of those games that has changed the way I approach games now. I used to be a player that would do a lot of run and gun rather than wait it out and plan my next move. With Fortnite I have been able to adapt to waiting it out and being patient rather than running and gunning which was always a bad idea whenever I would do that in Fortnite. I guess in games such as Call of Duty I would still run and gun to an extent but I would probably be more cautious of my surroundings.
  20. I have played a few boxing games in my time gaming but I will be honest when I say that I haven't played any in a while and that is more than likely because they do not seem to get released as much as they used to. This could be a sign that they are coming back which is a good thing for those who are huge fans of boxing and the games. I may give this game a try as I am always out for trying new games but not sure if it will be a game I will stick to.
  21. It really depends on the games you enjoy playing and how much you enjoy playing them. To be able to master a game for esports it would have to be a game that you play a lot and wouldn't mind spending the hours on to better yourself. For example for me it would more than likely have to be Fortnite that I would end up choosing to master for esports and more competitive play just because it's a game that I play a lot and I enjoy playing for hours at a time when I have the chance.
  22. From what I understand it is compulsory that all players part of an esports event must use controllers or even keyboards and mouses that are provided and not their own to prevent any kind of issues with possible modded controllers being brought into the event. This is great to be honest as could you imagine how bad modding would get if they allowed themselves to bring in their own equipment in. It's a good decision on their part for sure.
  23. If I am gaming competitively and I lose or get outplayed some how I will get frustrated with myself and the game to some extent but I will always think to myself as well how I could have done better or what I could have done different to prevent what happened. I have found that throughout the years of taking this into account and using it and looking at my mistakes it has made me a better gamer not just competitively but also in general as well.
  24. This was posted a while back but it got me thinking towards games that are out now that could potentially become or may already be esports games. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are all games that have released recently which I can honestly see becoming part of esports. Another that I think would be really good to see but not sure if it is in esports yet is Apex Legends especially with their arena mode that they have now, that would make for a great esports if I am honest.
  25. As someone who has played games in the past such as Call of Duty, Fortnite, Apex Legends I have found that the only thing that can improve your aim and even your overall game play is time and practice. The more you play and the more you analyse your mistakes the better you will become within time. You will also find that you will notice ways such as how to change settings better benefit you as a gamer within the game as well that helps you become a better player.
