  1. The old Nokia ringtone brings back a lot of memories. It was a great ringtone and was one most people used when they had the Nokia. I know it was my chosen ring tone when I had a Nokia. I think if I had the choice of a ringtone I could play and I had to keep it for the rest of my life it would probably be the one I have now which is Dynamite by BTS or if I had to go for something that was built in the phone it would have to be the Nokia ringtone.
  2. I'd have to agree and say that bloatware. Phones come with so much bloatware and a lot of it is pretty much useless and it is just their way of trying to push their apps and products onto the consumer which I think is wrong. I often remove a lot of the bloatware but then if I ever need to factory reset my phone, it all comes back again.
  3. I would love to have a phone customized that it was a purple colour that I liked, not something that is basic like you get now. I would want the phone to be smaller but still have everything it already has now and for it to come with a MicroSD for an extra fee if possible.
  4. I did watch one streamer playing it quite a few weeks back and it was a very different experience compared to how I have played it. I feel if you were to get a few friends together and play the VR version it would make for great fun.
  5. Is it quite a big game? I hadn't noticed from others when they were installing it as to how big it was but with how much exploring many people tend to do it does seem that it would be quite a large game indeed. Hopefully you do get to play it soon 🙂 I have heard it's a really good game.
  6. I would say in terms of COVID and gaming companies, it would have definitely been a sales that would have taken the biggest hit. With people losing their jobs due to the pandemic they would have definitely been trying to hold off on any kind of spending that was not necessary at the time. I also think with the whole work from home mandate that was going on for a while at the beginning of the pandemic and when COVID was at it' worst, a lot of games ended up being delayed due to that meaning game companies were slow on releasing new games compared to before COVID.
  7. Oh I remember the batteries, it used to drain the batteries so quickly, I can't remember if there was a rechargeable battery pack for the GameBoy as I remember us having something but I can't remember exactly what due to how much it would drain batteries.
  8. Oh there is definitely no way they would be able to keep everyone on, I can only imagine how many employers there are and how many would not be able to keep their job if they take over the company. It's got to leave many of them feeling very worried not knowing what their future holds.
  9. If I had to guess and had to go with a game I know is very popular and has been popular for many years I would have to say that World of Warcraft would be the game with the most dedicated fan base. Even now after so many years it is still a game that many people still play and it is one of the most popular games still as well.
  10. I would say that social media has very much so impacted society more than gaming has. You always get the whole video games are violent and they are the reason for what the youngsters do not when they commit crimes and such but it's not always the games that are to blame but what they see said and shared on social media that ends up impacting society more.
  11. If I could bring any character to life out of a game it would definitely have to be either Yoshi or Crash Bandicoot. I think it would be quite fun to see these to in the real world come to life and you be able to interact with them like you can with others.
  12. Where I live we don't have a Best Buy but I have spoken to people in the past who have used Best Buy to purchase things like PCs and have said that they have had a great experience with them. Newegg is somewhere I knew about and I have looked on Newegg before in the past for PCs and even laptops but I haven't actually purchased from Newegg. I know people that have though and they were happy with the service.
  13. It is a shame that there are not more places around like there used to be for PC gaming. Xbox Game Pass for PC is about the only reliable one now that I know of and all the others seem to have just disappeared. It's a shame as people usually want to be able to have a choice of places to use and not just have the option of one place or nothing.

    Recommend games

There are a few games I could recommend that I enjoy a lot when playing mobile games. Match Masters is one that I have played in the past and still play frequently that I enjoy and not sure if you are into anything like pool but I also play 8 Ball Pool by Mini Clip which is a lot of fun to play as well.
  15. I completely agree with you. Many users of the app do follow for follow until they get to 1000 followers for live access and most of them don't even end up going live with anything entertaining or even fun yet they call themselves content creators. I have seen so many people who go live and just dance around not even dancing to anything just to be live and others are just live staring at the screen at the chat. The problem at the moment is that TikTok allows this sort of content and it will eventually drag them down so unless they change something, it's not going to get any better any time soon.
  16. A new game every year for the next 4 years is not bad at all. I remember playing Alan Wake and it was a fun game to play, I really enjoyed it so I am looking forward to seeing what Alan Wake 2 has to offer. Also excited to see what Remedy Games has planned for the next 4 years as well.
  17. This is very true. It's such a shame that so many are being laid off just to as you stated 'cut the fat' just so it looks better for them. Hopefully all those who do get laid off are able to get a job somewhere else doing what they enjoy. Not the greatest of times at the moment to be laid off but as you say, it's all business and that is how it works.
  18. I think that is one of the reasons I do not play it as much as I could. I tend to play it with randoms and that can get repetitive over time and just becomes boring as you get burned out with it. Playing with friends add to the fun and changes things a little.
  19. It does seem to be getting a lot of positive reviews. I am at the moment avoiding anyone playing it as I don't want to have it spoiled for me ready for when I end up finally getting to play it myself. I agree, some fans are against it because of what J.K. Rowling has said but I really do not think that the game developers should suffer because of something that was said. Many are still playing the game regardless and I have heard that even friendships have been broken due to people playing the game which I think is a little too far fetched.
  20. Sure do. I have so many games not only ones that I have bought but also ones that I have gained access to through either Nintendo Switch Online or Game Pass and my backlog of games just keeps growing and growing. Most I will probably never play as I don't have a lot of time to be able to play them but I am hoping that I will be able to play quite a few of them when I have the time. So many games, so little time.
  21. Considering they are interested in buying Activision/Blizzard these layoffs are not looking too promising right now. It's pretty much sure that if they purchase Activision, they will more than likely continue the lay offs. Makes you wonder what they are planning if anything at this point as lay offs sure do not sound good.
  22. I didn't play a lot of Bully as it wasn't a game I really enjoyed myself but my son played it a lot when it first came out and for years after that and I saw a lot of it as he played and I would definitely have to say that Jimmy Hopkins has got to be the one character I have seen change the most in a video game from start to finish.
  23. This is very true. In most cases they look at how much different features are being used and when they see a decline in a feature such as split screen they will just take it away even though there may be a small minority of people who still use the split screen feature and love to use it. I know Epic Games tried split screen with Fortnite and as much as that was a good thing to try, it never really worked I felt just because of how confusing it made the game. Single player games though would be where split screen would be used more.
  24. TikTok seem to want to branch out more to give streamers and content creators another alternative to share their content and also bring their live streams. I know under the Twitch TOS if you are a partner or an affiliate you can not restream to anywhere else but they do make an exception for TikTok so many people use TikTok with it having such a big viewer base to direct people to their Twitch streams or even YouTube streams. I have seen live streams of people playing video games with over 400 viewers which is pretty amazing. I am hoping to gain live access again myself and give TikTok a try to see how it goes.
  25. Are they still really difficult to get hold of? I thought that stock issues had got better. I don't blame you, I definitely would not buy from scalpers either, they charge way too much and it's just not worth it when you could just wait and pick on up at retail price when they are in stock.
