Shortie

The last game I played was Fortnite last night. Hoping I can get through the battle pass before the season ends tomorrow but I am cutting it fine and still need 17 levels. Going to be playing some more later so hoping I can at least complete as much as I can even if I don't complete it all.

I enjoy playing many games of different genres but I will admit that battle royale has been one I have been playing a lot just recently. I would say that my favourite genres are battle royale, FPS, racing and also RPG.

I know this feeling only too well. I tend to leave it until last minute as I only have my kids to buy for as my family insist I focus on them but I am always having issues getting it down and always end up running around like a maniac a few days before hand because I forgot something.

My favourite game of all time was always Halo and I will be honest, as much as I do still enjoy Halo, it's not my most favourite game now. I would go as far as to say that Fortnite is my favourite game now with Halo being a close second to that. I feel if things didn't change the way they did with Halo, it may very well have been my favourite still now.

I would have to say every instrument. I love music and have played a few instruments in my time from violin to piano but it would be awesome to be able to play more instruments and if I had access to them all, I could experience that.

Grease is an amazing musical. I have watched both Grease and Grease 2 and often get grief when I say that I much preferred Grease 2 between both movies 🙂 Have you seen both?

Whenever I have gone to the movies in the past either with friends or family, we have always taken our own candy and snacks as well as drinks in as it is a lot cheaper to do that than buy it at the movies. The prices are way too much when it comes to snacks bought from the movies and I could never justify paying that much.

I used to think that streaming of movies and such being possible had slightly killed off movie theatres but it seems, die hard movie lovers and cinema goers still tend to buy tickets and go to watch new movies at the cinema rather than waiting for them to hit the streaming platforms. I personally wait for them release for streaming as it can be quite expensive to keep going to the cinema but having die hard cinema goers is definitely keeping them alive.

The last movie I watched was National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Trying to get into the Christmas spirit at the moment. The year seems to have flown by and I can't quite get my head around the fact that Christmas is almost up on us again.

I always remember hearing about this show and many always express their want to see it make a comeback but it was never a show I saw. May have to check it out as it seems quite popular and a show I may enjoy.

I am not much of a TV watcher but I have in the past watched some sitcoms that I have really enjoyed. In the past I have watched the following: Two and a Half Men Friends Scrubs Family Guy Everybody Loves Raymond The Queen of Kings

I always remember Goosebumps and I remember the series having books but I thought that was a thing of the past and was not aware they have release a new TV show. Going to have to check this out, loved Goosebumps when I was growing up.

I can't say that me or my family celebrate anything else other than Christmas. I do know there are other things that many do celebrate before we even get to Christmas but it was never anything I was brought up with or felt that I wanted to celebrate.

Creative has been released in the game, this was something that came to the game after Epic Games joined Mediatonic, the developers of Fall Guys. The creative side of the game is still quite small compared to games like Fortnite but it is there and is fun to jump into for a different kind of game play.

Soldier is another hero I enjoy using as well. You do get the FPS vibe when using Soldier and I feel that is why I enjoy using him being I am a fan of FPS games.

The addition of more quests to complete including milestones and daily quests really has been popular. I remember when you would get around 7 challenges a week and once they were complete, you never really had anything much to work towards and it was just playing the game for wins or a high placement. I have a lot of fun completing the many challenges we get now and it has helped me spend more time on the game.

Fortnite really is a game that you can keep going back to due to it's constant updates and new additions. In some cases it can feel like a new game with some of the updates which I feel keeps the game fresh. Grand Theft Auto V really did become more of a single-player game with the additions they made with GTA Online as well as the free roaming and such. GTA Online is a lot of fun especially with friends.

Have you both checked out the Black Friday deals that are ongoing at the moment to see if they are on sale now? I am never always able to jump on the Black Friday deals but some of them are a steal if you can find something you want to jump on at a price that is more affordable for you.

I agree. I believe the release of Tetris 99 on Nintendo added to the popularity as well making it a little more competitive playing against others to be the last one standing. Come to think of it, I haven't played Tetris 99 in a while! May have to jump back on that 🙂

I have seen so many leaks not only for the finale event for Chapter 4 called The Big Bang but also in terms of what we are going to see in Chapter 5 including a lot in the first week. I know we will also be seeing a Christmas event too a few weeks into Chapter 5 as that is always something Epic Games and Fortnite do each year. I have a feeling we are going to be very spoiled when we get into Chapter 5 and I am super excited for it!

I also have the phone game myself from the app store and have been playing it on and off in my spare time. You play against real people and have a lot to work towards including a battle pass that is free and you can upgrade to a paid one. It is a game I would recommend on mobile if you are unable to play the console version 🙂

Having played Pet Simulator X a lot and really enjoying the game, I was super excited to see that we would be seeing a Pet Simulator 99 trailer on YouTube on 19th November. Checking out the trailer and what is to come to the game, this will be a game I am definitely jumping on when I have the time just to chill out. December 1st can't come soon enough 😄

This sounds awesome and definitely a game that I feel would be popular if it were released. I can't say I have ever seen a horror game set in an abandoned amusement part or at least, not one I have played anyway. This would be interesting and fun to play and we can only hope that someone has the same idea too and make it a reality 🙂

It's confirmed! We will be getting an in-game live event to end Chapter 4 which will see us leave Chapter 4 and Fortnite OG behind ready to jump into a new Chapter with a whole new map. So far we know that there is going to be a live concert in game involving Eminem during the Big Bang event but not much more is known at this time. The live event happens on 2nd December 2023 at 2pm EST (7pm GMT) Are you taking part in the Big Bang Live Event?

I would never have believed myself had I have told myself five years ago that Eminem would be coming to Fortnite, it seems that is becoming a reality on the 29th November 2023 with Eminem getting his own skin in Fortnite and also being part of the 'Big Bang' Live Event which will be the Chapter 4 finale on 2nd December 2023 at 2pm EST (7pm GMT) https://x.com/FortniteGame/status/1727341169342923189?s=20 This is amazing for all gamers are Eminem fans as well.
