I really want to buy Callisto Protocol, but it's such a new game that I doubt there will be any decent sale. The ps5 is still out of my price range. I did get some new speakers though. Nothing extravagant, just a little upgrade. 

I haven't picked up anything this year. Money is tight for me at the moment, so I've been living a bit cheap as of late haha. But, I hear there was a fair deal of good sales. Are they all still live as we speak? I may have to check it out, if there's something for like a couple bucks, I may be able to spare some lol. 

Hahaha holy shit, I had no idea, that's amazing. I've never seen that one but in case you didn't know it's a spoof of the old 1984 Apple commercial, which makes it even funnier.
 

I remember this one, it was back in 2020 and it was when Apple removed Fortnite from the Apple Store and there was a big thing about it. Epic Games being themselves did a huge thing called #FreeFortnite and I always remember the commercial/trailer being absolutely amazing and they even gave away a free skin in game. Gaming has definitely taken over more than my tv watching. It seems like I'm usually not in the mood to watch tv because there are too many distractions where I end up half watching while doing something else. Gaming keeps me occupied, keeps my mind entertained, and it gives me control on what I want to do, where to explore, make decisions, earn new gear or abilities, and the immersion of fantasy that tv nowadays just doesn't cut it as much of what I get from games. 

I wouldn't say I prefer gaming to watching tv. I'd say they both are interests of mine. I'm big into movies and tv, so it's a big thing in my life. And gaming will always be a part of my life. I love doing both. If I had to choose my favorite, I don't know if I can. Movies and tv are something I like a lot too, and I don't know if I'd want to lose out on that either. 

People that you game with and the community that you may have built with the people and mates that you meet 🙂 Can't bet that end of the day knowing that the people that you known for years are always going to stick with you. 

I played the demo but never got around to buying the full game, I think THQ planned a sequel but it never happened.

I actually haven't. Back when it originally released, the graphics and gameplay style wasn't of interest to me. But I've been kinda on the lookout for the game for a while now. If I see it cheap, I'll pick it up, because I hear it's actually a good fighting game, and is highly underrated. 
I still preferred stuff like WWE Smackdown Vs Raw or Here Comes the Pain, but I think it's good to change up the style of gameplay to something more arcadey. 

I remember Farmville, though I never actually played it. I just remember when people talked about it nonstop in the early Facebook days. I never understood the popularity of it, but looking back I guess I can see some reasons as to why. 
 

I haven't - As a matter of fact, I honestly never knew there was a Farmville 2 either but it brought back so many memories as I used to play Farmville to kill time.

My Switch log isn’t even all the games on it. I have several carts as well. Also you have to consider the other systems I actually play, not just own.

There’s easily 1,000 games in that list. As for systems we own that we don’t actually play, there’s Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, Game Cube, Wii, and DS/3DS systems.
We don’t play our Xbox’s very often, but we do play them on occasion.

I subscribed to Nintendo Online for a while, but got no enjoyment from it so I cancelled my.... "subscription" I guess you would call it. The only ting I do online with my Switch is buy and download games. I have so damn many DDL's that I haven't even gotten around to playing them all. There's 124 DDL's on my switch right now. So, yeah. A lot to get to.

I nominate @Shortie for member of the month. Her posts are always insightful, and she really keeps things going well. She's a true asset to the forum.

I have thought about it a few times but I just don't have that much interest in it anymore. It's not a bad game - I just got bored of it. That's all...

I've played Pacman on so many gaming platforms, I can't actually think of one I owned that I didn't play Pacman on barring my Nintendo Switch which I got fairly recently. But knowing how things work, I'll probably end up with a Pacman game at some point.

I was one of the original Fortnite players who started playing in late September 2017 but after a year, I grew bored of it and haven't played it since late 2018/early 2019.

I'd say Sigma and it's because he manipulates gravity and is such a great tank character as he's so flexible. He can provide support to his team by levitating enemies in an area with his special move and his ranged damage is pretty high for a tank so he could be a decent DPS.

I haven't played the game for myself, as I've hkind of held off on it. It's on PS Plus aswell but the filesize is so large that I've not found a good time to dedicate a day to try it out. I've heard good things though, and that it's supposed to be some kind of sleeper hit.

Considering Smokey stated it was a game on GAME PASS and there is only one on game pass I'd say that's self explanatory. 
I haven't played the game myself or seen the movies but it's not the first time I've played a game and not seen the movies. Might check this out see what it's like over the Christmas period. 

I have always seen portable consoles that are made by fans for games such as DreamCast but I can't think of any off hand that are official if I am honest. I would love to see a portable Xbox if I am honest but I don't see that happening any time soon or at least I haven't seen any fans make one at the moment. I guess with them having the cloud gaming being able to game on phones and tablets is one way of it being handheld but it would be awesome to have something that is actually portable and like the Xbox controller. 

I myself have tried in the past to miss seasons since I started playing but my mind always kicks in that I will miss out on so much and I end up going back and playing the seasons anyway just so that I get the skins, in game items and so much more. I wouldn't say that Fortnite has become addictive for me but I do like to say I participated in each season since I started playing. 

Animal Crossing does one but it's no big deal. I'm not sure I ever was on for the Fortnite one. I'll hafta check that out this year.

GTA Online usually has one and when I used to play Fortnite, they had one as well. The GTA Online ones in previous years had wicked bonuses for cash and experience.

I wouldn't say it was a game that I loved but it was a game that I did play in the past and then played on a private server which was Phantasy Star Online. I think it's great that there are still private servers of this game to be honest as it means you can often jump in and even catch up with old friends that you used to play the game with if you each know the server you are using.
