I will admit that I have destroyed hundreds of controllers and dozens of systems due to rage. Not my proudest moments, but every gamer has at least been to the point that they wanted to. Not every gamer has acted upon that rage.

And people say that I need anger management. At least I don't act like a fucking toddler.

Would you want to travel the world in an RV?
The Blackangel replied to ZandraJoi's topic in General Chat
The last music festival we went to, we rented a popup camper. It was basically heaven on wheels, compared to a tent on the ground. I wouldn't complain about having one of them to pull around when traveling if I thought I would need it. There's not always a hotel nearby when your eyes start to droop. -
One of my solar watches was about $200, and it was a bundle with a bracelet. The other was around $800. It has a lot of other dials on it and extra features. It's not a diving watch, but it's pretty damn close in its construction. Any light source works to charge them. I just set mine by the glass door in the kitchen because all year round, sunlight pours in through it. I left it there for a few days, and voila. It was charged.

Characters that exist in video games but can't be seen
The Blackangel replied to Patrik's topic in Gaming Forum
I haven't seen Johnny Bravo in years. I had actually forgotten about the show. He was always funny as hell. And scarily familiar, as all the guys in my area acted exactly like him. They were always kissing their own asses. The only difference is that Johnny Bravo was smarter than the guys here. I got tired of one guys bullshit and told him that when he was done kissing his own ass to let me know, because my ass was full of shit too and I needed to fart. -
Characters that exist in video games but can't be seen

The only thing nearby that has anything is the abandoned watch tower, and Fairvale Shanty. The good thing about FV is that you can loot it as many times as you want. It always has a gold nugget, platinum watch, and platinum earrings. usually earrings. Sometimes it switches it around, but the watch and nugget are always there. You only have to ride a certain distance from it for it to reload. It's not too terribly far. But it's often got a damn grizzly bear hanging out there, so approach with caution. -
If it's just a different ending sequence but led to the same conclusion, then I don't have a problem with it. In all honesty, I really don't give a shit either way. I go through a game, and that's pretty much it. If I unlock an alternate ending, then so be it. At this moment, I can't say that I remember ever unlocking one, or ever intentionally trying for one. If I have, that's fine. If I haven't, that's fine too. Going after an alternate ending defeats the purpose of playing a game anyway. You're not playing the game to enjoy it, you're playing it for the ending it shows. If that's all you're after is a different ending credits, then watch it on YouTube instead of wasting your money on the damn game. There are some things in gaming, that I just have never given the slightest bit of a shit about. Alternate endings is one.

I've seen them all promoting ExpressVPN. I've never seen any of them promoting NordVPN. Even AVGN promotes ExpressVPN.

Have you ever quit playing a game for someone else’s sake?

If someone doesn't like me playing something they have 2 options. 1) Piss off 2) Fuck off -
Are art and entertainment mutually contradictory?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
They really don't have any difference at all. Art is entertainment. Entertainment is art. The Louvre houses some of the greatest art in the world, and it entertains thousands if not millions every year. Entertainment is everything from movies, to plays, to games, to books. It's all an art form from the creator. My art, as you all know, is the written word. They are one and the same. -
If you had to be a specific video game character …
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Rinoa from FF8 or Sadie from RDR2 are the only two that come to mind for me. -
It depends on how far I actually went into it. If I went far into the game, then it's on me. It had my attention and interest in the beginning. If it is in a genre that I'm a huge fan of, like fantasy, and the game just sucked in my opinion then it's still on me. Witcher 3 is like that. I didn't like it, but that doesn't mean the developers are to blame for my personal taste.

For some they give a person's life meaning. People like myself for example. I can't play any sports. I can't go for a walk. I can't wrestle with my dog. I am stuck in a god damn chair. The most value I have is to eat, sleep, and shit. Games give me something I actually can do, and sometimes something I can succeed at. They occupy my mind, eyes, ears, and hands. If I don't have something that occupies all 4 of those I get extremely antsy, which tends to lead to panic attacks. All because there's nothing much else that I can do. If it wasn't for games, I most likely would have shot myself by now since my diagnosis. Games are a life saver.

Top 20 HARDEST Video Game Achievements
The Blackangel replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
I do that with FF8 on my Switch. I find a powerful enemy that I can equip counter on Zell and an elemental attack that will actually heal the beast. Then I leave it running overnight with Rinoa and Squall in the fight. It requires Rinoa, because I'm using the Angelo Search ability to farm rare items like Ribbons. Which are some of the best items in the entire game. -

That was not a dash cam. Dash cam's have a much higher resolution and quality video. That was cell phone grade video. Also, the fact that the camera went flying upon impact was a dead giveaway. And from what I saw, I think he intentionally hit the guy in front of him. It looked like he wasn't trying to even slow down. If that's not the case, then why the hell was he filming it with his fucking phone???

I haven't gotten one yet. I'm just not sure which is the best one to go with. I hear a lot about ExpressVPN, but I just don't know, as there are a lot of recommendations for others.

If you go with Citizen watches you can get some that are ECO-Drive watches. They're solar powered, so you don't have to worry about batteries. Any watch and jewelry shop will tell you they're worthless, because they will lose money replacing batteries. But that's bullshit. I have 2 and have had them for several years. No issues at all other than deciding which one to wear. The other watch is a battery powered watch, but I haven't replaced the battery in it forever, because it goes through batteries quick as hell. Either that or I was getting batteries that were already more than half drained when I took it in to get a new battery put in.

Nintendo games have become too easy according to Nintendo Enthusiast
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Nintendo
As sad as it is, it's a fact. Games are becoming easier and easier. It seems that if you want an actual challenge from Nintendo, you're almost forced to become a classic gamer. That's no issue for me, as I already AM a classic gamer. Don't get me wrong, I have games such as Skyrim and Witcher 3 on my Switch. But the games Nintendo deals out such as Mario and Zelda, are sadly simple. Once I got the hang of how BOTW worked, it was so simple I got bored with it REALLY quick. I haven't played it in a few months now. I got to Kakariko village, and thought "This is it? This is the game? This is boring as hell." If Nintendo would simply put out a game that is a challenge from the beginning, and forgo the bullshit training then I would be more interested in their games and stop looking through indie titles. I've been thinking that the most challenging game currently has to be Mario Maker 2. At least there you can create your own levels to make an actual challenge. Just check the new Cinemassacre video. -

There’s theories that it’s a giant that’s hiding up there. That’s more credible than a bunch of sentient rocks. -
I enjoyed Jamaica when I was there. I wanted to go to Rose Hall, but didn’t get the chance.

Bigfoot is more of an asshole. When I was living in Colorado, I saw him one day and he flipped me the bird. Luckily it was cooked this time.
