That’s just those counted in the census. A large part of the population doesn’t respond to it when the census is taken. Especially those in the inner city, which is predominantly black and Hispanic areas. As a result, they aren’t counted in the population results. That’s what makes it seem that the US is mostly white. But you have to consider others that don’t respond, including but not limited to Asians and Native Americans. Reservations are technically American land, but governed completely separate, like American territories such as Puerto Rico. Add in the homeless and the numbers change drastically.

I'm sure everyone has encountered this at some point. Online gamers have most likely encountered a hell of a lot more of it. Have you ever gamed with/against someone who was so superior that it made you not want to even play the game in question ever again? Or someone who was so entitled that if you won, they would act like a spoiled 2 year old and throw a tantrum? I've seen gamers go nuts over losing and revert to infancy. There's several reddit review videos on YouTube where the channel host reads a post from people going nuts over being shot in CoD, or losing in Super Smash Bros or some other online game. One kid even got his mother on the game line and she threatened to have the person who shot her son arrested and sue him for it. If that isn't entitlement and superiority, I don't know what is. If I remember right the kid was banned from the group, and after it made the rounds, no other group would let him in either. I encountered this in a minor scale. When I would beat the neighbor kids in a fighting game like Mortal Kombat, they would get so pissed off. Mainly because they got their ass kicked by a girl.

The US was victim of a cult. The members followed their leader like lemmings off a cliff. If they were hanging onto Adolf's dick any harder they would have been his nutsack. Too bad they didn't all actually jump off a cliff. That would have been the best thing for the world.

The left saved the nation and the world from nuclear war. If Adolf was still in power, we would still have the "my dick is bigger" game going on against North Korea, all while being manipulated by Russia the entire time. The right already committed a domestic terrorist attack because they're a bunch of butthurt crybabies. Whereas the left has overturned unconstitutional mandates set in motion by Adolf. If you had a clue about the left or even the US, you would know that we will not bow down to China. Do I need to continue, or has it gotten through yet?

Personally, I think RDR2 plays better on the PS4 than Xbox. The controls are just a lot more straight forward and simple to use to me. What I would really like to see is a release of RDR2 for the Switch, but there's apparently some bad blood between Rockstar and Nintendo.

Gaming isn't necessarily an non chemical addiction. The pleasure centers of the brain release dopamine when a person does something enjoyable. People have been known to become addicted to that sudden rush of the chemical. Some people can't get away from what it is that is releasing the dopamine, and have literally died from it. There have been gamers who dropped dead because they wouldn't leave their game for days on end. It's a psychological disease when it reaches that point, and a chemical addiction. Sure through therapy, they can learn to give up the games, but the brain will find other avenues to release dopamine. After a person beats an addiction, regardless of what that addiction was, it's 1000 times easier for them to fallback into it than people who haven't been an addict in some form. I'm a former addict. Combining the years I was using and the years it took to get clean, I lost 4 years of my life to heavy drug abuse. I'm 39 now, and with all the chemicals I put in my body, it's entirely possible that I may not make it to 40. I've been clean for 17 years, and every day is a war against myself. I keep thinking "just a taste". But it's never "just a taste". Not for drug abusers. Not for alcoholics. Not for gambling addicts. Not for gaming addicts. The disease of addiction takes many forms. Some beat it. Some simply can't. Some don't even want to. There's nothing we can do but watch from the sidelines.

I just type them up in Notepad alphabetically and by system. That works well for me, and I can print it out anytime I want so that when I go out, I can take a list with me to ensure that I don't buy a game that I already have. I did that with The Reckoning and ended up with 4 copies of the damn game because I kept forgetting that I already had the fucking thing.

I should give my definition of the difference between the two, as I'm sure there are people here who will say they are the same thing. To me a DLC is something released by the company that published the game. Extra levels/challenges, new weapons, new worlds to explore, etc. A mod is something made by fans of the game and isn't something recognized or licensed by the publisher. So the question here, is which is better and/or preferred? Me personally I prefer DLC's because it feels more like it's how the game is supposed to be. I don't mean lootboxes or microtransactions. For the purposes of this post, those don't exist. Mods in my eyes, are people making a game be what they want it to be instead of playing the game as the developer intended/designed it to be played. Would anyone here really enjoy an invincibility mod in Skyrim/CoD/Witcher/RDR2 and so on? I highly doubt it, but I'm sure there's someone out there that has written that mod. I know some mods are used to increase the difficulty, and those I can respect. if you get too good at a game you get bored with it and don't want to play it anymore. But if you can increase the difficulty, then you either stay interested, or get interested again. Increased difficulty can make you feel like a n00b again. But either way, I still prefer the DLC's as per my definition of the two. Where do you all stand on this?

There was a couple games on NES that were compatible with voice command. I think one was Top Gun. I know it was a flight game and it was supposed to respond different commands, but every word you spoke made the guns fire. It wasn't the best setup, but it was entertaining to say the least. And at that time, pretty damn innovative.

I still buy CD's. New and used. When Disturbed releases a new album I head straight to the store and buy it. There are other bands (underground music) that I keep up with, but it's all physical media.

I have Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. As for a favorite, it all depends on what I'm wanting to watch. Hulu is the best for me with TV shows. netflix is the best for standup comedy. Prime is the best for other TV shows that Hulu doesn't have. I also have MagellanTV which is a documentary streaming service. I watch it a lot as well. I'm an astronomy nut (or astronophile as I call it) and they have a lot of great astronomy docs. There's a shitload of other categories there but that's what I mostly watch.

That’s a pipe dream. Biden is the savior of this country. In less than a week he has made more progress and improved the nation more than Adolf or any republiKKKlan had desire to. I'm a masochist as well, but it involves real life physical pain. That is where I enjoy it. If you want something that will meet those needs gaming wise, get yourself a SNES and get the Zelda ROM-hacks. you won't be disappointed. They are designed to not be beaten. The script writers went way over fucking board with the difficulty. Everything you know from Link To The Past is wrong. Trust me. Goddess Of Wisdom is impossible, and that's if you're lucky.

I like a challenge too. When a game is easy, or you have played it so much tat you have mastered it, then it's boring as hell the majority of the time. But when the game is too much of a challenge, that's when the fun is taken out of it.

I know exactly what you're talking about. More often than not, I'm thinking about CTB. Obviously I haven't done it. Yet. When I get into that state of mind though, I don't want to do anything.

That's more what I was meaning. I should have explained better. Games with religion that are pushing an agenda. Like trying to force conversions. Or some other bullshit. Sometimes I leave out crucial information to make my argument. Psychological issues, and brain damage from a number of things makes a hell of an impact. But either way, I'm still a bitch. I have to argue against number one. Sure life like graphics are great and often make the game. Imagine RDR2 with SNES era graphics. But some games should keep the old graphics. We have games like Cuphead, Blasphemous, Shalnor Legends, Snake Pass, and many others that are super popular. What are your thoughts there, if you don't mind me asking? With 2 and 3, I agree 100%. You hit the nail on the head and drove it in with one strike.

Raycon makes the best earbuds money can buy. They also make headphones if that's your thing. I have 5 pairs, just because I wanted different colors. They have a limited edition color right now that I want, but money is kinda cockblocking me.

Exactly right. That was the entire reason for making portable consoles. So people could game on the go. But they were never intended to be a distraction from real life. And we all know that system in the dashboard would be a hell of a distraction for the driver. Their passenger playing GTA or CoD would be a shitload more interesting than the curves on the interstate. Keep portable portable, but keep your damn head straight and leave games out of it. We have DVD players. that's enough entertainment. The screen doesn't work on my DVD player in my van, but I can still listen to the audio.
