What is this "claw technique"? People are talking about it, but no one is saying what it is. The only place I can find any sort of reference to it is this thread, but there is no definition.

I would probably be exclusive to PlayStation if Microsoft had bought Nintendo.

Worst thing you ever did to someone in a game?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
In game? Not much as I always had to play alone due to not having any friends to game with. But there was one time that I almost put someone in the hospital. I was talking about a game I liked that he didn't. He took it as a personal attack and picked a fight. He swung at me, I dodged it, grabbed a brick, and smashed it on his head. Why he felt ok picking a fight with a girl over a video game, I'll never know. -
Major content you've missed in games you played?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I can't really think of anything significant that I've missed as a hell of a lot of my games are side scrollers. Things that I missed are somewhat small like arrow and bomb capacity in Zelda A Link To the Past, the Big Goron Sword and Epona in Zelda OoT, GF's and side quests in FF8, and fighting Reptile in the first Mortal Kombat. So nothing absolutely major. -
Micah is a total dick in RDR2. He's always antagonizing Arthur. I wish I could attack gang members and just beat the ever living shit out of him, but unfortunately that's not something the scripted in the game.

In-game organizations you hate the most?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
POSSIBLE SPOILER TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T PLAYED RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 Leviticus Cornwall and his damn Pinkertons in RDR2. The bastards won't piss off. Technically they're the good guys as they are trying to arrest us to put us on trial for our crimes, but I fucking hate them. Agent Milton is the most annoying as he took a special interest in Dutch. And he thinks he can get intimidate Arthur into giving Dutch up. What a joke. -
I concur. For example with RDR2, I turn it off. But with others I leave it on. Typically for me, I turn it off if it's a game I know, but if it's one that I'm a complete newbie at, then I leave it on, because I'm probably going to die every 5 minutes and forget to save in between those 5 minutes.

Series where you never played the oldest installments
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I've never played the original Zelda on NES. Ok, that's bullshit. But in all honesty, I have never played the first Mega Man on NES. I have played all the others, and aside from 1 and 5 have them. But for some reason I never had the chance to play the original Mega Man. I would have it now, but it's too expensive. Disability doesn't pay shit, so until I can save up, I simply can't afford it. -
BF3? That's an acronym I'm unfamiliar with.

Rinoa and Squall in FF8. The way their entire love story developed. From not being able to stand each other, to jumping out into space without a plan to try to save her. It's a beautiful evolution.

Have you decorated your gaming space?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
You might say I have gaming decor up. You might say I don't. It all depends on your perspective. I do have a Master Sword in here, but that's not what I'm referring to. What I'm referring to is my skull collection. I have it on the shelves of my desk. There are so many skeleton and undead enemies in games that whether or not this is game decor is up to individual interpretation. -
This is the best thing I can think of to do. Maybe developers will take notice. Maybe not. But if we can get this spread around the internet, it can't hurt. http://chng.it/rGPvhxB82G

If you’re an American citizen, and you’re not scared, then you’re not paying attention. Foreigners need to pay attention as well, because if things get any worse, this could easily spill over the borders. No matter how wide those borders are, and how great the distance is. We are very seriously on the verge of a massive war. Possibly a third world war if we aren’t careful. Nuclear weapons were used in the last one. They WILL be used again. And we have some that will unfortunately make the atom bombs that were dropped on Japan look like UV lights for a tanning bed.
-
If you had asked me, I never would have thought I would see this. I knew this was the most tense and volatile election in American history, second only possibly to Lincoln. If things continue the way they are going, we WILL be in a second civil war. This will be remembered as the action that sparked it off.

The place that wants $300 is Slackers. Vintage Stock has the good reasonable prices on their stuff.

Ave I know of no good MMORPG's as I'm not an online gamer, but I do know FFXIV is really popular. You could try RDR2 online. I think Skyrim has an online feature, but I'm not 100% on that. Then there's always WoW, although I think it's mostly died off now.

Their thinking is probably that if they come up with confusing names, then people will buy the wrong system, and then when they go for the one they actually wanted the screw up was entirely on the consumer, and thus making Microsoft more money. Someone goes in to buy their kid an Xbox Series X and they accidentally get an Xbox One X. Then they have to buy another system to get the right one. Many places won't allow returns for you just buying the wrong thing. That's on you in their opinion.

If it's not an official PS5 and not a Sony product, they could be in some deep shit for copyright infringement. It's almost an exact replica, AND I think I'm seeing the PS logo at the bottom of the system. Now, if it has been presented to Sony, and they're releasing pictures to gauge gamers opinions, that's another thing entirely.

TMNT. The first one was good. I loved it. The second one was fine since it was a different take. But after that, they have all followed the exact same damn format. Unless there's one that I missed. Fighting games. 1 or 2 sequels is understandable. But 5 million is going too god damn far. MK needs to fuck off. KI did. SF did after waiting too god damn long. Spinoffs can be interesting. MKM: Sub-Zero for example. It's a bullshit bitch of a game, but still interesting. But running a series into the damn ground ruins the originals for gods sake. Hasn't anyone ever heard the phrases "quit while you're ahead" or "go out on top"?

KFC's KFConsole Is Real: Secret Ingredient Is Intel Silicon

I'm with you. It would be a neat collectable. I was actually thinking of trying to collect all the flashback systems, but there are so many that I never could have gotten my hands on them all, because a lot of them are region locked. So I said screw it. -
For retro games, finding them online is almost the only option. Whether it's eBay, CL, Amazon, or some other secondhand reseller site is irrelevant. There's a Vintage Stock in the mall here, and they sell some retro games all the way back to Atari 2600. I've bought a lot of games from them. There's another place here, but their selection is microscopic, and their prices are a slap in the face. For example for a PS2 they want almost $300. I can get a PS5 for just a little more than that. And that PS2 comes with one controller, no memory card, no games, and just the hookups. I've found countless PS2's on CL for $50. And they all worked perfectly, had multiple memory cards, multiple controllers, and more than a dozen games. FOR $50. Fuck you Slackers.

There are tons of educational games on Nintendo. Mario's Time Machine is a good one. This Wikipedia list can show you a few more, and possibly point you in a direction to find more educational games aside from just Mario games.
